I highly recommend this place for children! This is the 4th dental office I've taken my son to this year and I've had the best service here with clear information regarding the dental work and costs/insurance coverage. My 5 year old is an anxious kid. This dental office was the only one that helped him calm his nerves thanks to their excellent staff. This was the only dental office where they were able to take X-rays without any sedation. This was the only dental office to have a small film to bite for X-rays and not the big bulky ones that made him anxious, gag and cry in the other dental offices. My son needed a tooth extracted and some fillings done. We went for an iv sedation where they put him to sleep. Although we were nervous about I've sedation, it was a great experience. Recovery went smoothly. I also brought my 3 year old son for his first dental checkup. The staff made him feel comfortable. No tantrums and no cavities! An unfortunate incident led us to Dr. Sabbadini, but it was a blessing in disguise. My 4 year old fell and knocked his teeth loose. Dr. Sabbadini and his staff handled the situation with such competence, skill, and compassion. My son usually feels scared of the dentist, but at this office, he felt right at home. The atmosphere was made for kids...right down to the scrubs (Star Wars & Marvel are some of my son's favorite). After leaving the office that day, we immediately switched to this pediatric dentist. I would have rated it 5 stars as Dr. Sabbadini & his staff are the best, highly recommended. But recently, looks like there's some changes on his staff. The front office are not pleasant at all. Dr. Sabbadini is a great dentist. My daughter has been going to his practice since she was 3 and my son goes there. His staff is very friendly and he is very kind. My son struggled a bit during the knee exam but Dr. Sabbadini was so patient and understanding. He wasn't upset or using a harsh tone with my son. Rather, he gave him a minute to collect himself and try again. We have had some treatment done for my daughter in the past and things always turned out well. I really appreciate the follow ups he gives to make sure my daughter is feeling okay and if I have any questions. I definitely recommend his practice. read more

Then when we finally got seen Dr Sabbadini was so mean he made his assistant cry from yelling at her. And he was so rude to my son he made him cry. We went in today for fillings. My daughter was nervous, but they did a wonderful job helping her stay calm. It was scary for her and yes there was crying, as to be expected, but their patients was outstanding! I'm very sorry to say that he is NOT very good with children at all and I'm actually being nice about it. I could say a lot of negative things that happened but I'm not that way. Just know that if your child is anxious or nervous in any way, the Dr gets very upset and has zero patience for it. It really put our little guy in a bad place and he wasn't even bad just a bit nervous. Both my daughter and son needed some additional medical attention, which I agreed to do. When I called to schedule the appointment they wanted me to pay $700 to even reserve the date. I told them I can pay the following week. The same week, a few days later, I received a letter stating that they will report me to CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES if they did not hear from me (knowing I called). ***Would NOT recommend this pediatric dentistry. They are nice at first but they are obviously RUDE! To make an appointment you need to pay $50....really? I told them I was YELPING this and PRISCILLA (from the office) suggested I can add info from the website and find forms to include in my YELP post. I'm actually surprised that more people haven't stopped to write about Dr. Sabbadini and his wonderful staff, including Christine. I was a bit older than Dr. Sabbadini's typical patient, but that didn't stop him from treating me any differently. As someone who had inherited an old dental office space from my previous dentist (Dr. Santos), Dr. Sabbadini had to start from scratch and win over patients who were loyal to his predecessor. My family, on the other hand, felt it was more stressful to search for a new dentist and decided to stick with Dr. Sabbadini. What a great choice! We instantly clicked with him as he's a Cal Bear, and his wonderful office manager Christine was like another member of the family. I never felt slighted by Dr. Sabbadini or his staff, and I was sad when I had to choose my own dentist. As you can see from my other review, I've since found an amazing dentist. But if I had children and it was that time for them to get a check up, I wouldn't hesitate to take them to Dr. Sabbadini. Thanks for everything! read more

Update: My daughter needed braces. As a patient of Dr. Sabbadini, when he said he could do her orthodontic work as well, we knew we wanted to have her braces done by him. She has been going to Dr. S for 4 years, and not once have we had a bad experience. For as long as she has gone there, we have had Delta Dental through my husband. But now I have dental through my job as well. For the orthodontic work, Dr. S and his staff checked with both of our insurance companies ahead of time to find out what and how much would be covered. Christine called me as soon as she had the answers, and the exact charges of what we will be paying for 26 months of orthodontic work were spelled out perfectly in the contract. I can't say enough nice things about Dr. S and his staff. They are efficient, answer any questions, and never leave me feeling like I've paid more than I should have. My daughter actually loves going to the dentist. How many people can say that their kids like going to the dentist? I'm really surprised that my review from 2 years ago is the most recent. I have been taking my girls to Dr. Sabbadini since my youngest was 5 years old. She is now 14. I love the atmosphere of the office. I have wished I was a kid so I could go there. Sure beats the heck out of my dentist when I was a kid. I was tortured with fluoride and then given a cheap plastic ring. Ok, ok, at the time I did think the ring was cool ;) Anyway, they have bubble gum and cotton candy flavored fluoride just to name a couple. They have movies in the ceiling and headphones for the kids. There is a big treasure chest for the kids to pick out something at the end of their visit. There is a movie always playing in the waiting room and an actual arcade video game for them as well. The office is completely geared towards kids and making the dentist a fun experience. I would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a dentist. read more

She didn't say a word to us while she was so rough with my sons teeth . She has a very bad attitude, looks angry and totally took it out on my sons teeth . I would never recommend her.
