Customer service sucks. Not helpful and doesn't go out of there way to help you. Sits behind counter chatting with other associates.

Very bad experience…read more I bought a handbag. After weeks, the strap broke because of a defective sewing job We immediately called them. We spoke to the lady that's worked there for many years and she said bring it in. We met her because she suggested the bag for purchase I told her we could not come in for a couple months, but I wanted to go on record telling her about it and then it failed very soon. was unusable. She was annoyed, but said to come back when we could, and they would give us a refund. We recently attempted to return it. man who we believe is the manager immediately went on the offensive He agreed that the bag was made defectively. He would do nothing without a receipt. I asked him to look for our receipt in his records. He admitted that they save all receipts, but said it was too much trouble to try to find it; but expected us to have the receipt. Only a 1 way policy. He also admitted that he was the one that sold us the bag For us, it was a buyer beware shop. As an example, they apparently charge different people different . When making the purchase we on the price least our loss was reduced a little. If you do decide to visit the store, it's a good idea to bargain with to save money. At least what I could see they will come off the retail price they try to charge.

I wanted to support a local small business, and I understand that mistakes can happen. I paid for…read morethe work, thanked them, and did not ask for a refund. However, based on my experience, I will not be returning. I brought in a bag to have two zipper sliders replaced because the pull tabs had broken off. About a week and a half later, I received a text stating that the zipper itself was ripped and needed to be replaced at an additional cost of $130. The problem is that the zipper was not ripped when I dropped the bag off. The damage is very noticeable and is located directly on the zipper track. It would have been obvious to both me and the shop during intake if it had already existed. The bag is older, so my assumption is that the zipper may have torn during the slider replacement process. Had the shop simply told me that, I would have understood. What bothered me was being told the damage was pre existing and then being presented with a $130 upsell after already paying $45 for the original repair. Considering the bag can be purchased new for around $100, the recommendation made even less sense to me. I paid the bill and picked up my bag, but I left disappointed. From many of the reviews, it sounds like the previous owner built an excellent reputation over many years. Unfortunately, my experience under the current ownership did not reflect the level of service I was expecting. I sincerely hope future customers have a better experience than I did or read this review in time to choose another repair shop.

This store is the best! I was searching all over online for…read morea certain Old West frock coat (the "Tombstone coat" by Frontier Classics) and Wild West Mercantile had my size in stock for a better price than I saw elsewhere (and besides most of those places didn't have my size in stock). I'm a retired non-tech-savvy person and the woman who answered the phone at Wild West Mercantile was super helpful and walked me through the online ordering process. Shipping was very reasonable and I got the coat much faster than I anticipated. When the coat arrived I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric has a quality soft feel that I wouldn't have expected at that price, and the tailoring/workmanship was perfect. Five stars! The coat is actually for a character I'll be doing (who was originally played by Jeff Daniels, who got an Emmy for the role) in case you're wondering about the strange outfit I'm wearing the Tombstone coat with.

I personally purchase thousands of dollars of apparel ( jeans, clothes, shirts, suspenders, boots, etc) over the last 13 years or so, usually under 2 different addresses. I recently bought a pair of suspenders, the faux (fake) leather holding the suspenders is on backwards in 3 spots. I asked to return the item ( 2nd time they sent me the same item with backward stitching and leather) and the manager literally is so rude, she wouldn't take a breath to let me talk, talked over me at every 3 words, and said she refuses to allow me to switch them for a different item, claiming she didn't have the paperwork ( even though I gave her the order number and she pulled up all the info in her computer). RUDE, AND THAT IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE. Its a $19.99 dollar pair of suspenders, you're going to lose your customers over $19?? I have already removed your business from our registry on 3 platforms and for 2 different societies. I will never do business or shop with you again. Rude and Zero customer service. You should be ashamed of yourself.
