The entrance is located inside an office building. Since there's no designated waiting area, I wouldn't recommend arriving earlier than your appointment time. I love that you can schedule appointments via text. They also respond quickly, which is super convenient. The rooms are small but very clean, and the massage itself is both amazing and therapeutic. My massage therapist seemed to intuitively understand what my body needed, even working on areas I didn't realize were tense. For me, a great massage and excellent hygiene are the top priorities and Thai Sabai definitely delivers on both.

My wife's massage was painful, and the techniques were unlike any standard Swedish massage I've had. We asked for a refund. We were first offered a partial refund by Patty, then a full one after I followed up. Given the 4.8 rating on Yelp, I was surprised by the experience overall as a new customer. The space is fine, but there's no central AC and a noisy portable unit runs in the room (couples room). In my opinion, it wasn't worth it, and I won't be back.

Before my appointment, the front desk called to tell me the therapist wanted a minimum of $45 tip on a $93 massage -- 50% of the service, requested over the phone, in advance. I've always tipped generously ($30 typically), but being called and told what to tip before service is even rendered is not how gratuity works. When I objected, I was told "other people don't react the way you do, they're happy to just tip more," and that the therapist has "regulars" who tip him over $50, so he's "used to" it -- basically telling me to fall in line with other clients' payments. She also pointed to posted "suggested tip" signs in their massage rooms (also over 50% of service cost) as proof they'd "been telling me" to tip more all along! When I said I wouldn't be booking, she cut me off mid-sentence with a dismissive "yeah, yeah" and hung up while I was still talking. No attempt to keep a years-long customer -- just hung up. If you go here: tipping isn't treated as optional. It's expected, posted, compared against other clients, and phoned in as a demand if you don't fall in line. Don't expect the business to care if you push back.

Very disappointing experience…read more I visited with another person, and we both requested 30-minute foot massages. Even though I checked in before the person I was with, they were started first and I didn't get taken back until about 5-7 minutes later. The chair I was assigned was broken and wouldn't recline properly, making it difficult to comfortably use the foot bath. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. There was visible dust and debris in the chair, and it ended up getting on my shirt and shorts. As for the massage itself, it barely felt like a massage. I was assigned to the woman with the bob haircut, and the entire session consisted mostly of lotion being rubbed on my feet and shins with very light pressure. There was very little technique, attention to sore areas, or actual foot massage work. At $40, I expected a clean environment, functioning equipment, and a relaxing massage. Unfortunately, this was one of the weakest foot massages I've ever received. Between the late start, broken chair, lack of cleanliness, and poor-quality massage, I left feeling like I wasted my money. I would not return and cannot recommend this place based on my experience.

Tomoko Spa is located on a very busy street, but you forget all that as soon as you step inside. They do a really great job of creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The experience starts with a 15 min foot soak/massage, and that already was divine. The masseuse puts the perfect amount of pressure, and that combined with the warm water, almost put me to sleep, haha. For the body massage part, the masseuse asks you what parts you want focused on and how much pressure you would like. They are also really good at checking in at various parts of the massage to make sure you are completely satisfied. I really appreciated how thorough they are with the massage and also how proactive they are in making sure you are enjoying the experience. At the end of the massage, we were given hand-whisked matcha tea to drink, and they also provided us jelly, a handwritten note, and a rose to celebrate our anniversary :) We had such a lovely experience, and I cannot recommend this place enough, whether to celebrate a special occasion, or just to treat yourself! ** If you book a couple's massage, they provide complimentary parking in the lot next to the spa, otherwise there's paid street parking or parking garages available nearby

She came off as rude and demanding, and it turns out, she was wrong because the tip had already been paid.
