When I had a plumbing emergency with a terrible and silent leak, I ran into waitlists everywhwere in my immediate area. A & P Plumbing proivided me with a next day visit and estimate, and I decided to stick with the Licensed plumber they sent me who was outstanding, so i waited for 3 more long days without water (much more reasonable a wait then the 3 weeks locally to even get an estimate) to have a superb repair job and a reasonable, detailed and fair bill. I cannot recommend this company high enough, becasue of the kindness, professionalism and skills of my plumber. (and the second time he brought an apprentice whoi was also a hard worker and well skilled and polite) The company is also one that kept every promise and did not gouge me or mislead me.

The 2x Service Contract for seasonal changes was ridiculously affordable for the visits they will make today and in the Autumn.. He thoroughly examined my system, made the appropriate adjustments and nearly froze me out of my own house while double checking the accuracy of his adjustments. I will see them in 6-months and feel far more secure than when I simply ignored recommended seasonal evaluations and maintenance. I'm older and on a fixed, meager income. This was a good value, professional, easy to schedule. In my opinion, I highly recommend MMG.

We concluded that the unit needed to be replaced, the ducting system needed to be insulated, and the branch ducts needed to be replaced. That is a large scope of work with a potentially crippling price tag, but that was not the case. They gave me a reasonable price. They ordered the equipment and scheduled the installation for my preferred dates. Chase, Dusty, and Jason performed the installation over a 2 day period working over 10 hours each day. The outdoor temperatures were in the 30s. They were very attentive and focused on the installation and customer satisfaction. The sheet metal work was impressive. The efficiency of installing the new duct work was also impressive. They gave me regular updates throughout each day. The new unit works extremely well. They made a point of showing me the features of the unit and to explain the maintenance requirements. They included 1 year of free maintenance. I was also surprised with the inclusion of new grills for the air returns and new floor registers. Those were added features to the contract. Their attention to customer satisfaction is impressive. I highly recommend Absten & Sons.

The first time was over a year ago--they came to the rescue and fixed an issue that others couldn't. The second time, my home warranty company sent a contractor who tried to charge thousands for electrical work. Thankfully, I still had their card from the first job, so I called them again. Once more, they came through--doing the job right and within what the home warranty would actually cover. This is an honest company that does great work. The only downside is that they're hard to get a hold of and prioritize jobs based on urgency. But if you can get them to take your job--do it! Totally worth it. (But do me a favor and wait a bit--I've got more work for them: roofing, plumbing... I want to be first in line. )
