And when I met them, and spoke with them they was very pleasant. If we stopped right there I would have given them a four star rating just on their professional courtesy. However they severally overcharged me for a job that by my estimate would have been between the range of $1,000-2,000 give or take. The materials I needed we're only valued at $100-300 some, the labor now that I couldn't say. However it was a little job, not much needed done. By the end of the day they charged me $4,500!! During a time when money is tight, the economy is utter $h1t right now thanks to bad management. Those of us outside of the 1-10% income bracket do not have the disposable income to just throw it away like that. Then there was the job, I have to state the fellow they sent out was a nice guy, I actually liked the dude until I seen the work he did. One he didn't do everything we agreed on, then when he installed the items we needed he used damaged materials, measured it wrong, then just left it as is. At any rate, I had thought to dispute the cost as it was a gross overcharge, they basically fleeced me. Still to their credit they sent out another employee who did a fantastic job fixing the mistake of the last one. So in closing, I was going to give them a two star rating due to how they did me. But because they was kind enough to send someone out to fix it free of charge, and because of the quality of the work he did, they get three stars. After about an hour of waiting on AAA (with another 30-40 min left to go) and trying to figure it out myself this truck pulls up and offered assistance. He had absolutely no reason to stop, in fact he was on the opposite side of the highway and turned around just to help. He changed my tire, made sure the flat was loaded in the back and checked things out before sending me on my way all while declining any sort of payment. I was blown away. Super nice, a complete life saver and from what I could tell, hands down an all around genuinely good guy. I made it down the road about 10 min before the storm hit. It was perfect timing.
