It was a hot day and our RV began emitting great volumes of white smoke from the engine when we slowed to make a turn. We could see coolant splattered across the pavement underneath, but could not for the life of us figure out where the leak was coming from. We placed a call to a roadside assistance service we subscribe to and asked them to find someone in the area to be dispatched to our location to assess the damage and make repairs onsite. We had no idea who they would send, but boy are we glad they found S&S. Wayne, the mechanic was quick to respond, diagnosed the cracker heater hose within two minutes and made us feel better by saying we would have had a hard time finding it ourselves. He was personable, courteous and very efficient. Unfortunately, he didn't have a replacement hose with him, but he called back to the shop and one was delivered to him immediately by the owner's wife. Their charges were very reasonable: for us, a minimum one-hour service call, minimal mileage fee and $2 for the heater hose. The peace of mind they provided by making us road-worthy again: Priceless. read more
