My first visit to this business was on June 1, 2022 and, overall, I am very favorably impressed…read morewith the variety and quality of meals available and the service. I purchased four single dinners, all frozen, and ate them over a two week period. The first one consumed, the shrimp, was so good that I ate all of it at once. I controlled myself better with the others and made two meals of each. I thought a pasta dish was pretty good and the Shepherd's Pie was excellent, but I did not care for the Eggs Florentine, both from personal taste and from a deficiency of salt and pepper. I look forward to returning to the shop.

Here is my situation--I have little time for shopping, very busy schedule, no experience meal…read moreplanning, let alone shopping. I met Ashli a few months ago when her business was in the conceptual phase and saw it as an opportunity for me to save time with a task I really put off to others (usually less than healthy local pubs). The ground rules were simple, just provide an easy to cook menu, take care of a little shopping and adjust from there. The very first week Ashli impressed me with her ability to select a menu that worked for my schedule and well within my overall budget. In fact, comparatively, her shopping saves me quite a few $$$ as I avoid those impulse items. As we needed to adjust the menu to fit my health needs she has taken on that challenge and I'm ever so thankful to have her assistance. If you have never done menu/meal planning and assisted shopping consider Ashlie. She will provide advice that is invaluable for any home dining desires or health needs. She has my contact information and I'll be glad to personally vouch for her service/quality.

I scheduled service with Appointment Companions and everything went perfectly. Doug sent confirmation messages the week prior, the day before and stayed in touch that morning regarding pickup time. Doug is pleasant, professional, a very safe driver and was excellent company as I nervously waited to be called in. He really put me at ease. He doesn't ask questions or require any information about your medical appointment (unless you want to talk about it). He totally respects the privacy of his clients. After my procedure, the nurse went to the waiting room to let him know I was ready and he had the car waiting at the door for me to get me home when they wheeled me out. Appointment Companions is an excellent option for an elderly person who needs to get to appointments, a younger single person who doesn't want to ask someone to take a day off work to help them (like me) and many other situations as outlined on the web site.
