Gravy is dog reactive, so I was apprehensive about boarding him with other dogs. The staff there have been amazingly accommodating with him, and there's never been a major incident. When one minor incident did occur, to no fault of the staff, they called me immediately to let me know what was going on. Gravy seems genuinely excited to get dropped off there, and the staff seems to love him. The photos they take of him each day reassure me that he's having a fantastic time. I can't imagine going to another boarding facility.

I used to take her to Petco until a friend told me her dog got mange immediately after being groomed there. Plus, it's out of the way, expensive, and the groomers there come and go. I just didn't trust them at all. The Puppy Cut Hut hasn't been open too long, less than a year I think, but I am in love. I have taken the doodle there 4 or 5 times and each time she has come out looking perfect. I pretty must just have her shaved down to about 1/2" long every 2-3 months depending on the time of year. The face is the challenging part, but the Puppy Cut Hut always makes her look so cute! Also, they are VERY inexpensive. It is less than $50 for bathing, nail trim, and hair clipping a 70 pound dog. So thankful to have such great groomers right in downtown Geneva! Highly recommend them. They also have self service dog bathing which I haven't tried, but it is tempting for our other dog, as well as walk in nail trims. The best part is that the doodle likes going here. She happily walks in the door and doesn't put the brakes on like she used to at Petco.

Cindy Stone, owner and Groomer at Pampered Paws has groomed 2 of our dogs since we came to town, Venus and Freckles, who was a PartiPoodle and a real loverboy. Sadly, he passed away several years ago. We can not say enough good things about Cindy and her shop and her staff. They always did an excellent job of grooming. The shop is always spotless and the staff is always professional and friendly. Everyone we ever ran into always told us how adorable our dogs looked. If Cindy had any issues with swollen anal glands or undetected sores or dry skin problems or whatever the case may have been, Cindy would always let us know of any concerns she had discovered and recommend we contact the Vet, whom she also recommend to us, Cicero Animal Clinic on Route 31 in Cicero. They are awesome, as well ! Our pets loved going to Miss Cindy's ! You can just tell when your pets are comfortable with a person or not, and we always knew our pets were loved and treated kindly at Pampered Paws. We scheduled our appointments for every 5 weeks a year in advance. That is how confident we were that our Babies were in the best of hands. My Sister recently moved to Liverpool from Albany and she is now taking her little dog Dudley to Miss Cindy. He loves it there, too ! God Bless people like Cindy Stone who is not only a wonderful groomer, but also rescues Chows and often other breeds as well. I cannot express what a loving and compassionate gal Cindy is. You see, Harley is a rescue, and I have worked very hard to get her out of her fear mode; especially when it comes to strangers. Every groomer has been so quick to notice Harley's fear, and easily adjust to it, and my over protection of her! This occurred from the time I walked in and stopped and sung to the birds yo the time I went to pick out cat food in the back of the store and when I was looking for cat toys. There are way too many alternative places to shop to be harassed while shopping. She acted like she was putting things away, everywhere I went. It's an age old trick. If I wanted to steal something I would send in a white person who would get away with stealing everything but the animals--per a white woman I know who had walked out of stores with racks of items because the store employees are too busy watching Black people to watch her. I have my own business and I have a Masters degree. I would NEVER give anyone the satisfaction...but I will NEVER shop at your store again.
