I recently had a dress tailored here and they were so kind and eager to help me. I didn't feel rushed. They spent time with me and really valued me as a client. Sterling Cleaners is not only professional and customer-oriented, but also friendly and super conscientious. They will go the extra mile to ensure your clothes come out looking great. Their open hours are reduced due to COVID, which I don't find fault with considering the times we are in. That being said, don't rely on the pick-up time written on the receipt, as it might fall outside open hours (9 AM to 4 PM, last I saw). All things considered, I will definitely be coming back with more clothes that need saving!

Uncomfortable Experience and Concerns About Customer Safety…read more I visited this laundromat at 13863 Queens Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens, and left feeling uncomfortable and concerned about my safety. During my visit, I became concerned about the situation involving clothes being held for unhoused individuals. I asked an employee whether this was a normal practice at the establishment because the situation made me feel unsafe. Rather than receiving a clear explanation or a professional response, the employee stared at me without much expression and stated, "I don't understand." I found this interaction dismissive, especially considering that I was attempting to communicate a genuine concern. I then firmly explained that once my wash cycle was complete, I intended to leave and dry my clothes elsewhere. Customers should be able to use a laundromat without feeling uncomfortable when raising reasonable questions about their surroundings. I would have appreciated a more attentive, respectful response and a clear explanation of the situation. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, reviews how customer safety concerns are addressed, and ensures that employees communicate with customers professionally and respectfully. Based on this experience, I believe there is room for improvement in customer service and how concerns are handled.
