My husband and I needed to replace the decking and hand railing of our existing deck and decided to add stairs. I wish we had found Harbor Deck and Fence from the beginning! Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with our first decking contractor and had to fire them mid-project. When we reached out to Harbor Deck, they were one of the only companies willing to take on our project because another contractor has already done work. They helped us identify incorrect and unsafe work completed by the first contractor and developed a resolution plan. Both John and Adam with Harbor Deck come out to our home multiple times to provide us an accurate bid and to ensure they understood our vision for our deck. The quote was fair/reasonable for the scope of the work. Once Harbor Deck and Fence began working on our deck, they were efficient, friendly, and frequently checked in to ensure we were satisfied with their work. I have included photos to highlight their workmanship. Our hand railing is not only beautiful but extremely sturdy and safe. The decking and stairs are installed to code and provide us amazing functionality. John did a final deck walk through and quickly sent out his team to complete the few preferential adjustments we requested. I have no doubt that if an issue were to come up, Harbor Deck and Fence would stand behind their work. Again, I highly recommend their services.

We had two very large trees cut down - one that had overgrown right next to our house and another that was huge, damaged and tricky to access, right next to other trees and our fence line. The owner Jesse came quickly to provide an estimate and provided a quote on the spot. The communication was fast, they scheduled quickly, and showed up on time. Jesse and his team went above expectations and took care of not only the tree clean up but swept up the surrounding area as well. Our property looks much better after Jesse's attention to detail. The Hyrule team delivered a high level of customer service, plus they were kind, friendly, hard-working and clearly knowledgeable. I'll definitely contact Hyrule again for all our tree cutting needs!

First of all, there are a few trades you want to be careful about going with the lowest bid…read more Concrete is one of them. You get a fly-by-night crew messing up your concrete, and there's no easy solution. I got three bids on my patio. Sione's was the most expensive. But in the walk-thru, Paul noticed things the other contractors didn't. He asked really good questions and provided a price quickly. His decades of experience was evident. So I decided to spend more and use him. He and his crew didn't disappoint. I wanted an arc on the end of the patio, and they worked on the form until I was happy with it. They answered all my questions and I had a lot. I'd overseen a lot of commercial concrete in my career, but was unfamiliar with several things they did during this residential job. It wasn't wrong, it was just unfamiliar. They explained why they were doing what they were doing, so I withheld judgment until the end. There were a couple of details in their prep work I wasn't happy with. They changed them without complaint or argument. And they cleaned up after they were done. On top of everything else, the crew was amazingly fast. Concrete is brutal work, but these guys moved like a well-oiled machine. The result was a beautiful product. No low spots, perfect slope, clean joint, beautiful radiused edges. I will definitely use them again when I'm ready to replace my old driveway. And I will recommend them to anyone I know looking for quality concrete work.

Unfortunately, we have experienced a dishonest/unethical contractor in the past, and Paul has proved to be honest and has integrity with fair pricing.

They met or exceeded expectations in at every step, from the initial meeting and design process, through demolition, construction and cleanup. Professional, prompt, reasonably priced and very competent. Each step went as promised and any concerns that developed along the way were quickly and exceptionally resolved. We had three separate contractors bid the job, and though similar in pricing, it was the personalized touch from Rocky and Theresa that made the difference on our first meeting. Within two days of us contacting them, they came to our home, listened to the issues we were trying to solve and what our goals were, and then provided a scaled design plan for us to envision the final results. The landscaping team, lead by Rojit, began within two weeks of the initial meeting, worked tirelessly every minute of the day. They were respectful to neighbors in where they parked trucks and equipment, cleaned up the worksite every day, and never took a shortcut. Whether it was one guy working or the whole team, each employee worked diligently regardless of whether or not the Rojit was on site, which was really impressive. We could not be happier with our yard. It is more useable, aesthetic, and easier to maintain. We highly recommend Diamond Touch and will use them again without hesitation.

What surprised us most was how easy he was to talk to -- not pushy or salesy at all, just genuinely helpful. Michael, our project manager, was equally kind and professional, making sure everyone was on the same page before the work began. While the material delivery was delayed a bit, Hector and the crew more than made up for it. They were incredibly efficient and even incorporated some retaining wall blocks we had purchased the year before. In just 7.5 days, they completely transformed the space and truly blew us away. Also throwing in a shout out to Michelle -- very nice and communicative regarding billing and making sure financing was applied. All in all -- The process is smooth, the quality is excellent, the 27 year warranty is incredible, and we couldn't be happier! Thanks Sta-Built!

Can't say enough positive things about the professionalism of Angela, Kevin and their entire crew…read more It started from the beginning with their timely response to my inquiry for an estimate for replacing an old cedar deck with a composite solution. Kevin showed up on the day and time he said he would (which is such a frustrating battle in and of itself with so many contractors these days), asked a ton of questions to really understand the intricacies of the project, and provided a fair and timely estimate for the work. You could tell from the first conversation that they're a professional group of people who take their work seriously and are passionate about showing up in the right way and letting the work speak for itself. It really boils down to consistent, clear and timely communication when you're paying for such a large project. You want to know that you're on the same page, provided with timely and consistent updates, consulted with, etc. This is where A.K. really shines. Dave and the entire deck crew were fantastic as well. They showed up every day when they said they would, were always extremely clear and concise with updates, suggestions and any questions they ran into where I needed to consult. Those consistent behaviors are just so critical in providing an excellent customer service experience, and it's rare to find BOTH high quality craftsmanship and work AND consistently great customer service. They just get it, and if you're reading these reviews right now, that's precisely what you want to read because you know how frustrating that can be when you're trying to find a contractor who will even simply respond to your inquiry and questions. I'm proud to recommend and refer them. I couldn't be happier with the final result.
