    Pineapple ham pizza

Rye café is a gem. With no other restaurants in the town, you'd think it would be mediocre but that's just not the case. The food is exquisite. Excellent pizzas, as well as a host of other great options. Brunch, lunch, dinner- pretty much everything you could want. We stayed at an Airbnb less than a block away so we ate there several times during our stay in Rye. Staff is phenomenal, friendly, and on top of things.

    Love the open kitchen!

Our family has a cabin in Rye, and when we visit, we usually eat in. Today, we decided to try the Rye Cafe, and we are so glad we did! We didn't have to wait to sit inside. We noticed that we could have eaten outside, in the back or front. We liked the ambience inside - great old pictures and decor. Cheryl was our waitress and she was terrific. Everyone else working at the cafe was also friendly and efficient. My niece ordered the chicken salad salad. It was made fresh - all of it. I had the chief salad - it was also made up fresh. Husband had pizza - half pepperoni & sausage for himself & half pineapple for our great niece - who stayed home to work, so we brought her half home after we finished eating. Everything was delicious, and we appreciated the personal attention to each thing we ordered. Cheryl brought out each meal as it was made, which was fine for us. Husband raved about the pizza, by the way, and this is the 3rd time in 5 days he's had pizza. This was the best yet. We paid and left, full and happy. We hope to return soon and try other menu items!

It was a wonderful spot to stop and enjoy delicious pizza. The team working there were friendly and fun to be around after a long journey. Gorgeous surrounding area to appreciate while driving up there.

Fresh peach cobbler and ice cream.

Great restaurant off the beaten path. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We had our dog and sat on the back patio. Super peaceful. Food was great. We ordered the Slopper burger and the Greenhorn pizza. Loved the crust on the pizza! For dessert, we ordered the brownie delight and fresh peach cobbler. YUM! Definitely worth venturing off of I-25 and into Rye for this meal!

Take the daily quiz, enjoy the tasty coffee, and amazing service. This will hit your Starbucks addition perfectly.

Once you get what you need, you ca be off to your destination in the matter of a few to several minutes as it's close to I-25. The young lady upfront who assisted me was very welcoming and sweet. Her pleasantness was probably the best thing I got out of the visit. As I stated, what I needed was an iced doppio and possibly a little bite to eat. Whereas they may make great craft beverages, the selection of the pastries was very limited. I wanted something savory but there was literally nothing for me to choose out of what they had (they all looked not-so-fresh sweet pastries. Not sure if they rotate the baked goods.) The shop is kind of cute inside. And it's not only a coffee shop but also a souvenir shop (or specialty retail shop to be exact.) I didn't bother to look at any of the retail items as I was in a hurry to get home. I read others' reviews and one of them said that the shop doesn't have any tables/chairs to sit down and sip your beverage. It's true; I don't remember seeing any. The same person went onto say that they don't have wifi so no work on your laptop is an option. In all technicality, this is a place to shop for retail stuff and grab a cup of coffee and off you go type place. If that still suits you then stop here.
