We stopped here unexpectedly. Really beautiful looking place. Pretentious, rushed, not-enjoyable tasting. Wouldn't recommend. Two stars because the Chardonnay was delicious. RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENT: Ryan, Thank you for your response. I want to be very clear, you asking us to not eat our salad was COMPLETELY understandable. It was an oversight on our part, as we didn't realize you served food. However, my review is AS outlined above, directly related to the tasting. I understand that weekend was busy, however, there were only two other couples tasting at the time that we were at the counter. Again, our tasting was rushed, impersonal, and the woman helping us continued to walk away and then come back. Not the experience I would expect from a boutique winery. As I said above, the Chardonnay was delicious, however, I would have hoped to have a better experience with the overall tasting. Again, I appreciate your outreach via comment and the offer to return for a better experience. I will happily upgrade my review to a three-star and re-review upon a visit. read more

This vineyard is inviting from before even walking into the front door, and the view inspires a person to slow down. I enjoyed a red flight while my partner preferred the white - rosè flight. Our server from Cape Cod with the somewhat Norwegian accent was professional, very friendly, and knowledgeable. We had no intention of purchasing more than the flights but ended up walking out the door with an excellent bottle of Merlot. We stopped rather quickly on the spur of the moment, but this turned out to be one of the more enjoyable and relaxing stops of the weekend. read more

One of the new winery in fingerlake region. Doesn't have fancy tasting room but they have good wines. Winemaker knows what they are doing. I really love their 2012 Gewürztraminer I wanted to buy their stock of 2012 Gewürztraminer , but price was little bit expensive. If you love Gewürztraminer, it's worth to drop by for tasting. Gruner Veltliner - dry, crisp, refreshing white wine with citrus/green apple/wet rock note. Cab Franc 2015 - black current,dry,high tannin, earthy, low acidity. Very decent compared to its price. Not great on a Tuesday afternoon. Wines were fine and we bought a few. Our server however, (and we were the only ones there) was very disinterested. We are used to the servers being very engaging and loving their jobs. No crackers, no bags, no food and no personality. However, if he wasn't working I would recommend it. I've been to Ryan William two times now and both experiences have been excellent. The dry whites are particularly well done, especially the Grüner Veltliner, which is now my favorite varietal. The food here is also fantastic and inventive. I thoroughly enjoyed a breakfast sandwich of pork belly, beer cheese, and hash browns. It sounds overly decadent, but somehow they made it light and refined. Great job, Ryan William! read more

We heard about this place so we decided to try it, I'm a HUGE Mac and Cheese I ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese and my husband ordered two Hog Wings and the Buffalo Mac and Cheese! Very good! The hog wings were amazing! Very tender and the meat fell off the bone. We went at 9 pm it's very busy at this time so expect a 10-15 minute wait. Service was great, food was great! Overall price was not bad $44 for the two of us. Good experience! read more

What a neat barn this is! The owner took down the barn across the street and rebuilt it using the original frame and some newer materials, so it has a neat antique modern look. The wines offer sweet and dry options. I recommend their Gewurztraminer and Barn Red. read more

This is a new winery that just opened near to Bloomer Creek Vineyard and Stonecat Cafe. I stopped by on a whim in April (shortly after they opened) and was fortunate to get their last 3 bottles of 2010 Chardonnay. All of their selections are great, but I'm really enjoying their 2011 Gewurztraminer. I think Ryan William is going to help lead the way for premium wines in the Finger Lakes and I look forward to seeing them grow and prosper. read more

The staff were knowledgeable, personal, and appeared truly interested in creating fine wine. The pinot noir was wonderful (this coming from somebody who's spent time in Santa Barbara, CA).
