I've been coming here for about 8 years now, Dr. LaFrom and staff are all wonderful. I like that they use all the latest and greatest gadgets and technology, but more importantly, Dr. LaFrom is a talented dentist and knows his stuff, with or without the gadgets. (As an aside, he also has a real knack for numbing. I never feel a thing, and I used to have major issues with some of my previous dentists in that department. I am so relaxed there I have even nodded off in the chair once or twice.) I've had some major (much needed) work done in addition to regular cleanings, and I have always gotten a very fair and knowledgeable quote and treatment plan prior to any work being done. Dr. LaFrom genuinely cares about his patients and it is apparent in every aspect of his practice, from making sure each patient is greeted by name when they walk in the front door, to the extra time he spent making sure my crown/implant exactly matched the color of my existing teeth. Even though I now live in Belmont, I still make the drive down to Cupertino for my dental appointments because it is so worth it to have a dentist you can trust and rely on. I would highly recommend LaFrom Dentistry to anyone. read more

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Senft for quite some time. We find his office friendly, professional with convenient appointment times. He has replaced some old fillings with beautiful white fillings that match our teeth perfectly. He has also replaced two crowns that he crafted on site that are amazing. What convenience! The dental hygienists in his office are also very professional and do excellent work. We would highly recommend his services! read more

Dr Senft is great. First found him when I had an emergency issue with a tooth. Dr Senft has advanced equipment that helps diagnose issues better than a simple X-ray. Very kind as others have indicated and also recently saved me from a misdiagnosis by another dentist. Staff is also very nice and helpful. Great communication! read more

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Senft, and I'm very impressed with how kind & thorough him and his entire team are! It was my first time getting my cleaning and fillings done here, and the hygienists were very gentle and communicative throughout the entire process. The team is also very intentional with their COVID precautions. Overall, a great experience and looking forward to coming back :) read more

I've been coming to this office since I was five and after going off to college and working overseas for years, I've come to value this place a lot. Dr. Lafrom is a very talented dentist who is good at identifying problems and recommending the best route to health. If you ever require specialist work and he knows someone better, he has no problem referring you. His interest is your well-being. His hiring choices are impeccable as he has an eye for skillful and caring people. I'm not a rich man, but some things are just worth it and if you care for your teeth the way he teaches you how, costs are minimal and routine cleanings are painless. I don't give a lot of 5-star ratings, but this place is really top notch. read more

After seeing Dr. LaFrom and his staff for over four years now and experiencing a wide range of treatments I would highly recommend LaFrom Dentistry for your future dental needs. I am very afraid of dental procedures and look for a dentist that will work with my fears and not make me feel guilty about them. For example I personally like to have my teeth cleaned with the traditional "scraper" and refuse to allow cleanings with the water pick method. The LaFrom office has always been understanding about this and gladly uses the older method to clean my teeth. In regards to the technology he uses everything appears to be very advanced and X-rays are extremely thorough which gives me confidence with the possible treatments I may need. I personally like to understand why I need something and Dr LaFrom explains in detail what will happen or what he will be doing. Dr LaFrom is also very gifted in how he gives his local anesthetic because I did not feel nearly as much pain as I expected or remembered in the past from other dentists. I was very afraid and he was extremely patient with my anxiety about the anesthetic and drilling necessary for my fillings. He would allow me to have short breaks and continually asked if I was ok while he worked on my mouth. In addition while performing treatments Dr LaFrom seems to go above and beyond when performing treatments he takes his time and if he sees a concern he addresses it immediately. He always will do what is best for me and the future of my mouth. I truly fell as though Dr LaFrom and his staff put me first. Procedures I have had at Dr LaFrom's: Routine Cleanings, A Night Guard Made Because I Grind My Teeth, X-Rays, Traditional Cavities Filled and Prior Fillings Repaired read more

I found Dr LaFrom from 1 800 dentist under the urgency to have a loose tooth removed..being negligent for more than 5+ years due to $, loss of work, embarrassment, dental anxiety and horrible dental experiences..I anxiously made the appointment as well as canceled and re-scheduled and I'm glad I did... The staff is extremely kind and adorable, the office aesthetic is calming and Dr LaFrom is especially a kind and gentle soul. His photo does not do him justice, he is very handsome, #justsayin What sealed the deal for me was looking at his picture gallery of the before & afters...I finally felt that I'm not the only one going through this... I am extremely appreciative that he is willing to work with me on a treatment plan that fits my financial abilities. I am finally anxious and looking forward to having a beautiful smile again. read more

I used to be a dentist back in my country, when I came my English level wasn't well enough to pass my boards to go to dental school. I stared working as an RDA, doing temping in a different offices in the Bay Area. When I met Dr Ryan Senft, I can tell he was professional with patients and his staff. Now I need an implant and there wasn't a hesitation that I would choose Dr Senft, to take care for this for me! read more

I had a CEREC crown done here. Procedure was painless. Dr. Senft is very nice, addressed all my questions and put me at ease. CEREC is revolutionary, no more messy moulds. I was all done in 2 hours. Can't imagine getting a crown the legacy way anymore. read more

I have been going to Dr. Senft since he first came to this area. He is an expert in his field, and excellent in explaining every step of whatever process he is doing. In addition to fillings and the regular cleanings, he has done several crowns for me, and this week he completed my first implant. Unlike many dental practices, where crowns have to be sent out and the patient waits for two weeks with a temporary (then has to return for the final fitting), Dr Senft has the technology to computer model the crown, machine it in less than 30 minutes, and install it in one 90-minute visit. How valuable is that?!! And the fit has always been perfect the first time. The implant procedure was painless and the final visit lasted less than 60 minutes. I recommend him and his practice to everyone I know who needs a dentist, and I would recommend it to anyone reading this. I gladly drive from Los Gatos to Cupertino to see him. My view now is "only good things happen when I go to the dentist." read more

I love these folks. You owe it to yourself to come here. I recently asked Dr. Senft if he could fix a food trap that was between two of my teeth and causing a lot of problems. He had me come in and took pictures using all his modern equipment. He then spent some time doing research to make sure he could actually improve the situation. He then brought me back and replaced the crown and it was perfect! Perfect fit and problem solved! I also came in today for what felt like what might be a cavity. Dr. Senft took a look and fixed it in less than an hour! These folks know what they're doing. The office staff is fun and professional, the hygienist does a great job keeping my teeth clean. And Dr. Senft's assistant is perfect. Always making sure you are comfortable through the process. I can't imagine a better experience. Give them a try! read more

I have been a patient of Dr. LaFrom's for many years. I have always had great experiences with him. He does mention cosmetic "upgrades" so to speak. Never have I felt pressured to take him up on them. I figure that is part of the job. The work that I have had done has been terrific. His sense of humor is just up my alley. All of the people surrounding him in his office are easy going, extremely capable and fun to see every few months. I have only great things to say about be the entire LaFrom establishment. Thanks Doc, Kimberley read more

I am beyond satisfied with Dr. Senft, Toba and the entire staff. Treatment coordinator Suzanna, is always very helpful, responds timely to emails and answers any questions with details and smile. Toba (hygienist) is very professional and also gets along well with the kids, especially with my 5-year old who didn't want to do the cleaning. For Dr. Senft I wish I could give 10 stars. He is highly professional and is doing high quality work. Recently he went out of his way to help my mother with her dental denture, which had been originally done outside of US and no other dentist had a clue how to fix it. In summary I highly recommend Dr. Senft and his staff. read more

Dr. Senft is very professional and caring. His manner is very gentle. He treats you as if you are the most important patient to him. He is very knowledgeable and always employs the latest technology and techniques for the most effective treatment. I had to have an implant tooth adjusted (expanded with filler) because my remaining bottom teeth had shifted leaving a gap. It took several tries to get it just right, but he was very patient the whole time. He also measured for a retainer which I will pick up in a couple of weeks. During this visit I also had an older crown replaced because I had chipped it. It's so nice having all that done in house. All this was completed in just under two hours and with no discomfort. And the next morning I actually got a phone call to see how I was doing. This made a big impression on me. It's a true testament on how he cares for his patients. I know I am always in good hands with Dr. Senft and that anytime I need any work done, it will always have a good outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Senft and his whole staff. read more

I've been gifted with poor teeth, and over my 80 years I have seen many dentists. How lucky I was when a friend recommended Dr. Senft. He is gifted. I had a large molar pulled and an old tooth that had been crowned, both had developed infections. He also put in an implant in the smaller tooth. I was amazed. There was very little discomfort and now on the second day, there is none, absolutely no discomfort. I did not swell as I normally would after such a procedure, and had very little bleeding, none today. I wish I were not moving again or I would be with Dr. Senft for life. read more

Dr. Senft and team are everything one could want in a dental service. The staff are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The woman who cleaned my teeth did so expertly, with no pain. I absolutely LOVE this dentist. This guy is passionate, caring, and considerate of my needs as well as my family. It seems his patients are most important and put first above others needs. We have had 2 family emergencies in the last few years, they were delt with the same day, without being turned away. My daughter also had a tooth knocked out while playing and he was able to cosmetically mold it together, so she did not feel out of place with her friends. Dr. Lafrom is professional, family oriented, and a pleaser. We are pleased with his services. read more

I became a patient of Dr. Senft's as he was the successor to Dr. Lafromm but I am very pleased with the transition. Dr. Senft is professional and friendly and his colleagues (hygienists, front office) are capable and friendly. The cleanings are efficient and as pain free as can be expected given the nature of the procedures. The office is clean and well maintained. I would think this is a good place to go if you are looking for a new dentist. read more

I've been going to Dr. LaFrom dentistry for years and, when he retired, the office was taken over by Dr. Senft. The transition was seamless. Same excellent care and staff. Let's face it, going to the dentist is not something we look forward to, but Dr. Senft's practice makes the experience much less onerous. I feel like this office has always set the standard for using the latest technology (I remember Dr. LaFrom being interviewed by Wired magazine because of it!). I recommend Dr. Senft for anyone looking for a new dentist or not completely happy with their current dentist read more

I having been seeing Dr. Senft since he bought this practice. I am extremely happy with the friendliness and professionalism of the office staff. I often have items to be watched or worked on and never feel pushed to have the work done on anyone's timeline but my own. I feel especially confident in their response to Covid-19 and the procedures they have put into place to ensure safety of staff and patients alike. Not only did they put into place all recommended CDC and ADA guidelines for opening, they also send a detailed email listing the process when you get to their office for your appointment as well as the steps they have taken to become compliant to the new rules and regulations. Nobody enters unless screened. I also appreciate the fact that they are so up to date on the newest dental technology. When I need to have work done, it is being done with the most current procedures available, and often in just one visit. read more

Dr. Senft and everyone that works in this office are some of the nicest people I've ever encountered at a medical/dental office! I recently had treatment done at this office for a dental emergency while visiting family in Cupertino for spring break. My cousin is a regular patient here and recommended that I visit so that I can enjoy the rest of my trip. I just have to say that Dr. Senft and his team were outstanding! Dr. Senft seemed very knowledgeable and took his time explaining all of his treatment recommendations. He was very friendly and thorough and seems really passionate about his craft. Hub E. has been seeing Dr. Randy for 15 years, and swears by him. He always come home from a cleaning with a bright smile, talking about latest cool gadget that Dr. Randy has started using. (His latest toy: a USB X-ray sensor that displays dental x-rays on a computer instantly. How cool is that?!?) Dr. Randy treats his patients right. One time, Hub E. needed a mouth guard. He and Dr. Randy discussed which one to get. Through a mixup, the wrong one was ordered but Dr. Randy picked up the cost of the correct mouth guard. All the staff are also very friendly and helpful. read more

I have never had such an overall amazing experience with any dentist (or doctor, for that matter) as I have with Dr. LaFrom. He made it a point to listen to my concerns, took time to educate me on the health and maintenance of my smile (ironically, telling me all the things I could do to not have to go to the dentist at all), and spent as much time as necessary working on my teeth in a gentle and professional manner. All of the equipment at LaFrom Dentistry is state-of-the-art, and the office is very pleasant. Even though the dentist himself is great, you get the feeling that you're being treated by the whole staff, not just Dr. LaFrom. I highly recommend this dental office. read more

Dr Lafrom's office is the greatest. I've been seeing him for over a decade now and service is always top notch. He also hires the best dental hygienists. My current cleanings are with Alison who has a careful touch: no pulled lips, or smooshed nose just thorough, meticulous work. I'm lucky to have good dental genes so my teeth are fairly low maintenance but still, they're in the best shape they've ever been. No new cavities in all this time and we've replaced my ugly old metal fillings with almost invisible ones. My husband has terrible teeth (English, don't you know) and he also highly recommends Randy for his thorough care. A final really cool thing about Dr Lafrom is that he's a gadget geek like many of us in the Silicon Valley. He stays up on the latest technology whether it's in patient comfort or dental advances. read more

Dr LaFrom is simply the best dentist I've ever had. When I initially moved to the bay area, cupertino was local to me. I've since moved to SF and _still_ come all the way south to see Dr LaFrom and his staff. If you literally have to drive over an hour to see a professional, you know it's a good experience. The office is clean, professional, and very personable. All the staff knows and relates to me. The instrumentation is cutting edge and has saved me from pain and discomfort during my procedures. On tap he's got a supersonic cleaner which the hygene techs use to give me the best clean i've ever had without scrapping or gum trauma. Sand ablation, laser, camera, digital xray, the works. Best thing for me tho is the quality of the work. He spends a lot of time ensuring that after a filling my bite works as expected, and won't cause me problems. I had a recent chip in a filling he did 3 years ago, and he replaced/fixed it from of charge. Warranty on work is a sure sign of quality. If he offers you the chance to do something, it's because he knows he can fix it, and do it right. Anyhow, can't say enough good things about the man and his office. Go see'm. read more

I find Dr. LaFrom's staff professional and nice. One thing in particular that sticks out from Dr. Lafrom's service is aggressive over sales. Every time i go there they try to sell me something I find I clearly don't need. Despite I find Dr Lafrom's practice good I hate the fact that almost every time they call me and ask me to reschedule for an earlier appointment. When eventually I go to the office the fact that they try to sell me the same service over and over again, I sometimes find tiresome that they don't keep a record of services Ive already highlighted I don't need or want. On the positive Dr. LaFrom's office is pretty much a one stop shop; he has the latest technology available including 3D Xray, Zoom whitening and crown crafting machine. read more

It Worked big time.At some point during the time we have been getting dental treatments, we did not have dental insurance and Dr. LaFrom worked with us to make it work so we did not need to stop treatment. He's not pushy with his treatment recommendations and works with me to figure out what's best for me--not his bottom line. I feel like he really takes his time during the appointment and goes the extra mile to make sure I'm comfortable. My entire family has been going to Dr. Lafrom for many years now. My family has had a wide variety of procedures from crowns, Invisalign, veneirs, and tons of cleanings. Even in the beginning, the visits were extremely comfortable and Dr. Lafrom, or Randy as we call him, made every visit as easy as possible and we have never had a problem with anything we have done with him (and PAINLESS as well!). I myself have only done cleanings and teeth bleaching. When I first did the teeth bleaching, I freaked out a little bit because it was causing this white foamy liquid to appear on my gums and it stung a little bit. I called the office the next day and talked directly to Randy about it and he suggested all sorts of things I could do to prevent the stinging and explained to me that the foamy liquid was just oxidation and was completely normal. After the very first use of the bleaching trays, everything was perfect and I had no problems with them at all and my teeth are bright white :D read more
