SERVPRO of Plymouth - Wareham

FROM PLYMOUTH, MA -…read more It is rare, indeed, when a company responds with as much enthusiasm, and positive, can-do attitude as ServPRO did for us. Under new ownership (as of Fall, 2019), the new management has made a commitment to be a top provider for Plymouth and the surrounding areas. They certainly convinced us they are on the right track. We had a remediation project that needed doing quickly . . . other companies were telling me they were booking 3-4 months out, but we had to have the work done before winter. Then ServPRO came to our rescue. Not only were they responsive, they inspired confidence that the job would be done quickly and absolutely done right. And it was. I am a contractor, used to hiring all kinds of subs for all kinds of jobs. I am so impressed by this company I will definitely call them for future work for us, and for my clients. *** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ***

Substantial mold in my attic and eaves was recently discovered. I called ServPro of Plymouth/…read moreWareham. I made the right choice! Sara answered my call and made the first professional impression (as subsequent conversations with this exceptionally nice woman reconfirmed). Ryan, also of professional demeanor, was out in short order to assess the situation and provide a fair quote. It did however, turn out to be a home-owner's insurance situation. The guys who actually rendered the situation "Like it never even happened" were John and Pedro! They were both here for a few days total as they discovered and photographed additional mold within the insulation beneath the plywood floor. I got to know them both well enough to see that they really enjoy what they do! Both men were very meticulous, friendly and courteous. They performed multiple and complete steps to kill all of the mold, remove it and clean all remaining stains. All in all, my experience was 100% pleasant and satisfactory. Great service, value and most importantly, a GREAT job!

After a few times I said you asked me to tell you and I will give you the information. Well, I was interrupted an additional 2 times. When I asked if he could stop interrupting me and let me finish a sentence, he hung up! I found the brief interaction unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. Since this was a first time impression and opening communication, I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I could not imagine trusting this company representative with my home. I would give "0" stars if it were an option!

Bob was a bit hard to get ahold of at first, but he's in demand and working jobs with his team. We scheduled a free consultation the day after my closing, and he was flexible in moving it up a week earlier when that option opened up. Bob arrived exactly on time and started with the attic. He was able to assure me that the water discoloration didn't look to stem from active leaks, and his services wouldn't be needed in that space. He did recommend adding better ventilation through the MassSave audit program. We then went to the basement where Bob reached a similar conclusion. For the two beams with visible mold, he said that the issue wasn't severe enough to warrant a professional's assistance, and that I could clean it myself. I really appreciated how Bob took the time to evaluate my new home even though the outcome was that I wouldn't be hiring him. The best part? As we were leaving through the finished basement, Bob noticed some suspect bubbling on a newly painted wall. He pulled out his moisture meter and was able to determine that many segments of the wall were at 100% saturation. It's likely that the recent heavy rain and removal of the dehumidifier while the house has been unoccupied resulted in this issue, which would have otherwise gone unnoticed until closing. Bob was able to recommend some initial moves that we could take (redirect gutters, run dehumidifier and fans in the space, etc) before ripping things apart. Depending on how that goes, I may have an opportunity to write a review for his services... but for now, greatly appreciate what he's done for me so far.
