He had to take it to a shop 50 miles away from Minot because the leak was severe. Removed filter, no filter gasket was installed. Common enough mistake for someone inexperienced, not a huge deal, put new filter on, added oil and he was back to work. Went in to talk to Take 5, guy outside in his car asks what I need as he is the manager. I started to tell him my story while he looked at the receipt. He first commented that I shouldn't come in on the weekend with this. Then he said the employees that did the work were no longer there. Then he said since we had taken it somewhere else to fix he couldn't do anything, even though the issue was noticed far from Minot. Whatever, I wasn't looking for much, maybe the price of the filter. Talking with the manager was a bad experience. He wasn't looking to improve service or correct an oversight, he was looking to get rid of me as soon as possible and take no responsibility. Won't be back.

I requested an estimate for tires on a specific vehicle I provided the make and model and details of the car. I get only one estimate, the Firestone weathergrip. No other comparisons, just that one. I decided to trust the salesman. Huge mistake of mine! He never informed me that the tire is of different size! He confidently said this one fits your vehicle. I wanted oem factory recommendations, but he bumped it to a different size without explaining that part to me. I'm sorry I'm not knowledgeable, but that should have been told especially if that would change the odometer of the vehicle. I only learned this after doing more research. I only found out after I got home with the car. Oem size: 235/40r 18 Size he gave: 235/45r 18 I get it still fits, however that's terrible customer service on not advising me the change of size AND how it may impact the vehicle itself! This is my fault for trusting someone. Military life is hard enough, now I feel I just can't trust this place ever again. *Sigh* The price seemed ok, but again... lack of actual communication to me is not what signed up for.

Got one of my cars fixed.. it eas a sway Bar Link Kit for Fiat 500 pop should be about 10.99 x 2 plus an hours work at Harleys is $108 labor for the hour.. this should be a 15 min job if using a lift, max let's say 30 mins if you are an amature. You pay by the hour (standard) just like any other shop. I walk in and tell the rep. 218.62 is kinda high for a Sway Bar Link aka link kit. The rep. Shows me the Sway bar on a poster and acts like they changed the whole Sway bar, na dawg ya changed some bolts, nuts and maybe the rubber piece. Took the car in on a Friday and I had to call them to find out if the car was ready today (monday) cause I did not hear back from them on Saturday. Not impressed! Just want people to be aware. They also fixed the vehicle without calling me prior to ask if I wanted to get the job done so they complete the job and give you the bill. The pic below is the same part number and all and the final bill..... I play dumb and look for an honest shop cause I have 3 vehicles and I will need services someday.

Obviously I had questions so I tried to talk with the people on the phone and they kept speaking over me, stating that they refused to do anything with it. I eventually drove to inspect the condition of my vehicle and see if it was even moveable, as it seemed that explaining my vehicle was not in operating condition wasn't enough for them to at least have some patience and a little bit of understanding for someone who just got into a collision. When I spoke with one of the mechanics, he was quick to anger and began to yell and argue with me to the point where I had to walk out, because it was clear that communication and customer service wasn't the strong suite of this establishment. When my friend who had drove me there went to receive my keys, the mechanic had the audacity to say that "some people need to learn to help themselves" after I tried requesting that they themselves explain to the insurance company (who had sent my vehicle to the location for repairs), that they lack the capability and skill set to work on or repair my vehicle, despite the name of the auto shop. Talking rudely about someone to the party that they were with, is definitely not professional. If you can't seem to bite your tongue, then you shouldn't work in customer service, or frankly be in the workplace at all. Overall, the experience I had with this place, not even being a client of theirs, convinces me that, should anyone need auto repair or servicing, Superior auto repair lacks professionalism, basic communication skills, and the basic quality of being cordial with someone.

It had been raining on and off all day, so my console and surrounding area were completely soaked. I got in and drove to a friends house to drop something off & mentioned that I had just picked up my car. He noticed that on my drivers side front tire there was a lugnut missing. After walking around my car, we found out that FIVE lugnuts in total were missing. When the mechanic called me earlier that day, not a word was said about this! The guy I talked to, I found out later, is one of the owners. He is, to put it politely, a rude jerk. He basically told me that finding out what the problem is with my headlights was "not worth his time". They had my car for 2 days, I asked them to check out 3 things: my headlights, my a/c and my front drivers side wheel bearing. In 2 days he managed to check the bearing, keep in mind he did nothing but look at it, as I asked for them not to work on it until we discussed prices. On top of all this, he accused me of having fake plates!!! Seriously? #1, you're not a DOT inspector, highway patrol officer, or any other person who would have a reason to inspect my plates!! Perhaps if you had done your job instead of making up crap, my car would have been properly checked over instead of the half a**** job I got!! And naturally, when I called this morning about the lugnuts, he had already covered his butt and told the receptionist that they were missing when I brought it in. **Avoid this place!** It's a joke!
