Common enough mistake for someone inexperienced, not a huge deal, put new filter on, added oil and he was back to work. Went in to talk to Take 5, guy outside in his car asks what I need as he is the manager. I started to tell him my story while he looked at the receipt. He first commented that I shouldn't come in on the weekend with this. Then he said the employees that did the work were no longer there. Then he said since we had taken it somewhere else to fix he couldn't do anything, even though the issue was noticed far from Minot. Whatever, I wasn't looking for much, maybe the price of the filter. Talking with the manager was a bad experience. He wasn't looking to improve service or correct an oversight, he was looking to get rid of me as soon as possible and take no responsibility. Obviously I had questions so I tried to talk with the people on the phone and they kept speaking over me, stating that they refused to do anything with it. I eventually drove to inspect the condition of my vehicle and see if it was even moveable, as it seemed that explaining my vehicle was not in operating condition wasn't enough for them to at least have some patience and a little bit of understanding for someone who just got into a collision. When I spoke with one of the mechanics, he was quick to anger and began to yell and argue with me to the point where I had to walk out, because it was clear that communication and customer service wasn't the strong suite of this establishment. When my friend who had drove me there went to receive my keys, the mechanic had the audacity to say that "some people need to learn to help themselves" after I tried requesting that they themselves explain to the insurance company (who had sent my vehicle to the location for repairs), that they lack the capability and skill set to work on or repair my vehicle, despite the name of the auto shop. Talking rudely about someone to the party that they were with, is definitely not professional. If you can't seem to bite your tongue, then you shouldn't work in customer service, or frankly be in the workplace at all. Overall, the experience I had with this place, not even being a client of theirs, convinces me that, should anyone need auto repair or servicing, Superior auto repair lacks professionalism, basic communication skills, and the basic quality of being cordial with someone.

They told her that the check engine light was on because she filled her car up while it was running (pretty common in our climate). They charged her $150 for this guy to clear a check engine light with the warranty. So essentially every time she fills her car up now with it running, she will have to pay $150 to get it cleared. One would think, that because this is a manufacturer defect, it would be covered under the warranty OR they would recall these vehicles to make that right. BBB will be notified, cooperate as well. This problem needs to be fixed. The manager working there was no help at all. DO NOT BUY VEHICLES OR SERVICE THEM FROM THIS PLACE
