For the last 12 years I've done all my preventative maintenance through this company. This is the last time i will ever go to Tires plus. My apolizes Trusted tire & Auto. I went to see what the issue was as to why my vehicle will not run. I had them run the codes nothing. For $178 and change, found out around closing it was for a bug in the mass air flow censor. The very next day vehicle will not start. Told sorry that'll be another $178 and change. Minimum. Like You checked the codes. How was whatever this current issue not found. Went in to request a quote on some tires for my spouse's car since his work schedule conflicts with the hours of tire shops. I requested an estimate for tires on a specific vehicle I provided the make and model and details of the car. I get only one estimate, the Firestone weathergrip. No other comparisons, just that one. I decided to trust the salesman. Huge mistake of mine! He never informed me that the tire is of different size! He confidently said this one fits your vehicle. I wanted oem factory recommendations, but he bumped it to a different size without explaining that part to me. I'm sorry I'm not knowledgeable, but that should have been told especially if that would change the odometer of the vehicle. I only learned this after doing more research. I only found out after I got home with the car. Oem size: 235/40r 18 Size he gave: 235/45r 18 I get it still fits, however that's terrible customer service on not advising me the change of size AND how it may impact the vehicle itself! This is my fault for trusting someone. Military life is hard enough, now I feel I just can't trust this place ever again. *Sigh* The price seemed ok, but again... lack of actual communication to me is not what signed up for. read more

AVOID if you value your time. We had a 10 am appt for an alignment. At 11:30 we asked what was the holdup. Were told the two vehicles "ahead of" us were taking up to 45 minutes each. Ok.... so the 10 am appt was triple booked? Got the car in at 12:15. Went to get an update at 1:30. Were told they needed parts and couldn't do the alignment at 1:50. Total buffoons. Do NOT waste your time. They wasted our entire day. Drove into Minot from an hour away for THIS. On top of all of that they would have made us wait even longer if we wanted a tire rotation. Tire rotations are apparently in a different bay and first come first serve, so after the alignment they would have put us back to the back of the line to wait again for a rotation!! We had already decided we weren't playing that game but it turned out we didn't even get the alignment either. Absolute moronic incompetence. Should have checked these reviews first!! We had to ask for an update on our alignment's progress an hour and fifteen minutes after they took the car in because the guy had gone to lunch (!) without bothering to tell us they couldn't do the job. Finally got out of there at 2:25, were offered a discount for an alignment next week but didn't take it. We will keep looking for a new place. read more

This is not my first time coming that I've had to wait twice or even 3 times as long than it should've, what are your workers doing back there? I came as soon as you opened to get my tires changed and an alignment. It was supposed to be an hour and a half but it's going on four hours now. I'm still waiting. Do you actually value your customers or what? I work nights, barely got any sleep just to bring it in because if I would've brought in later it wouldn't have got done til the next day and I need my car for work. read more

Got my oil changed and they were very professional with their approach. Problem being that after I left my low tire pressure light came on. It had not been a problem before this. Got my tires rotated the next day at another place. All the tires were three pounds under what they should be. Tires Plus had set them to the wrong pressure. Their gauges were off. They got me in fairly quickly, but I specifically ask to ensure they clock my wheels correctly and they didnt. so now I can not add air or check pressure on the inside duals, they also mixed up 2 wheels because apparently they dont realize that only 4 of the 6 wheels will register correctly front to back (2 of the wheels on my dually have to stay on the back the other 4 will correct themselves) on the tpms I'm sure they do a good job on cars with 4 tires but dont seem to have a clue about 6 the guy had no idea what I was talking about, they offered to correct it but I told them I would just do it myself cause I pretty much had lost confidence by then. price was ok though read more

These guys and gals are absolutely amazing. I took a bolt through my tire and wheel on a trip out here from Washington. They not only got me a new tire they found a welder to fix the wheel. I arrived on Saturday afternoon and they had me back on the road Monday afternoon. Would definitely recommend this place. I really appreciate all they did for me. read more

What's not to love. Due to the Firestone/Bridgestone store on 3rd I was in a tight spot and called Luke at Tire's Plus. Firestone had kept my car for 2.5 hours while I waited and then told me sorry we didn't find time to fix it. I had an appt. and told them I needed a wheel hub. Luke, Tires Plus, did some calling and in 20 minutes got back to me and could fix the wheel hub of my car the next day. I dropped it off before work and got a courtesy ride to work. Luke called at 12:30 PM and it was done. Love Tire's Plus. Give them a chance. The courtesy car is such a nice feature. read more

Not real happy. Ordered tires for my wife there and paid the full amount of 768.00, so she didn't have to pay for them. She couldn't make the appointment so I Came back two weeks later to get them put on and they charge me more money. Another 53 dollars, said it was a freight charge and to boot they also said the tires you ordered weren't the tires that came in but it's the same price just a different model number. Are you kidding me? So they ended up putting on the blizzak 70's model tires when I ordered the new blizzak 80's. If it wasn't for the fact it's icy and my wife has a new baby I would have asked for my money back. But because of safety for my family I made the choice to just pay the extra cash and take the older model. Recommendation- go else where you don't get what you pay for and then they change the price after you already paid. read more

If I can get this place negative ratings I would very disappointed in the work they've done timewise and workmanship wise there's a bunch of electronics in my vehicle that they never plugged back in I will never use the shop again nor will I ever refer anybody to go there read more

Tires plus is a joke..they are so unorganized. Went in there just to get my switched to my rims and then put back on the car at 8:30 am. $61 later they said it would be done in an 1 hr or 1 1/2 hrs ..no call ..so I called them at 11:45. They go yes it's done ..I told them why didn't no one call me. The manager said I texted you ..I didn't get no text or call..then he made it sound like I was lying ..I hate businesses like that. Do not recommend Tires plus to anyone. This is the 2nd mishap I had with them. Went in once got my air filter changed ..got home looked and there was no air filter in it. Very friendly people, but they wanted to charge me $425 dollars for one tire...i found it elsewhere for $215.

Tire plus inspected my brakes Jan. 2015 and then suggested turning rotors which I assume they always suggest. I told them no just replace the front brakes. They replaced the front brakes. March 2015 my front brake system failed. I took it back in expecting them to cover the repair being they just inspected them and worked on them 2 months earlier. Clarence calls me and suggests it failed because I did not have the rotors turned. I have replaced 20 or more sets of brakes in my life without turning the rotors and this has never happened to me. In my opinion the company completely failed to do what was right, but charged me another ~$550.00 to make the repairs. I was in a bind and had to have them do the repairs, but will never do business with them again. read more

Made an appointment for a single flat tire repair and asked for an estimated wait time. I was told 30 mins. I ended up waiting there for 2 hours and 15 mins! There were 2 cars in the shop, including my own. I don't know what the hell the workers were doing, but I know I'm never coming back to this place. read more

5 out of 5 oil changes resulted in no oil filter replacement... LET ME TELL YOU THIS... I have done most of the work on my vehicles since I was a 10 year old kid. went in to get an oil change, came back with a leaking tire and pics of a 4x4 truck that was not my own, they quoted me over $500 to fix crap that was not broken. screw you guys. Took my vehicle in about a month ago and paid $113 for a comprehensive vehicle inspection because I was heading out on an extremely long road trip and wanted to make sure my vehicle was in proper shape. When I brought the vehicle in I expressed that concern as well as my low tire pressure light that just popped on so I'd like my tires to be filled with air while it was there and a squealing noise my car made when it was turned on. When the tech called to let me know of a few things, I ran these by my father who is a car guy out of state and he said not to get anything done because the prices were a rip off and nothing sounded to be a dire emergency. When I picked the vehicle up, the low tire pressure light was still on and the car still made a squealing noise. I addressed them about the light and they filled my tires up with air, the light went off, and by the time I got home (less than 5 miles) the light was back on and I had a flat tire. THERE WAS A LARGE NAIL IN THE SIDE WALL OF THE TIRE! I'm no car expert, but I'd expect a COMPREHENSIVE inspection would include a visual of the tires. So I had to buy a brand new tire since it was beyond patching (I took my business elsewhere). I was told by the tech that my power steering fluid was dirty and needed to be flushed, and that I needed new struts, and had a leak in the axle seal over one tire. I just recently got to the halfway point in my road trip and had a mechanic check out my vehicle and he said that I HAD A LEAK in my power steering fluid, wish I would have known that. This other mechanic said my struts were completely fine, however I did have that leak in the axle seal. I got all of that repaired for half of what tires plus wanted to charge me. So I'm not exactly sure what I paid $113 for, I know it's not a ton of money but it is when you're saving up for an overseas move and have to get car repairs before shipping a vehicle overseas. Bottom line, take your business elsewhere. read more

I've bought a couple set of tires from this location and they are easy to work with and understanding. I am a bit of a pain of a customer with my unknown working schedule, having 4 cars to maintain plus work vehicles. I will get called out of state constantly and unexpectedly and these guys have no problem about me not being able to make it, they are always willing to reschedule at a later date with no anger or grief attached. The new oil change lane set up also has increased efficiency on oil change time tremendously compare to previous set up. Keep up the good work. read more

Very disappointed in the service at this establishment. Made an appointment, for 11:30. Told it would take 2 hours. Do you want an alignment if we say it is needed... NO, I say, no alignment. After 2.5 hours I call. They say should be a couple more minutes. No explanation. I wait 30 more minutes, and decide to show up at store at 3:00.... 3.5 hours after I've dropped off car and my car is ready. No one called. I go up to pay, told that they put tires on, balanced, and did an alignment. WHAT, I said no alignment. Lady looks at me says oh... that'll be 900.00. (Charged me $90 for alignment) I leave stunned. 5 minutes later, I call and ask to talk to manager. I start to tell her I said no to an alignment, and realize that she is one who checked me out... the manager... and she cuts me off and says we'll refund the money. I didn't even get to tell her that they never even called me to say car was ready.. she hung up! I will never shop here again, rather drive 3 hours to Bismarck. Walking in the door, hearing a genuine "glad to see you today, and how can I help you" from the Mobil 1 Manager, and finding out my way overdue oil change could happen within 30 minutes, was something I didn't expect. I've had some pretty bad experiences with customer service lately, but this was a welcome surprise! John, the Manager, gave me some options without a hard sell or any pressure to buy the more expensive service. That in itself is worth writing about. I have been taking my cars to Tires Plus for oil changes and tires for the past several years. I have never had a bad experience or felt I was being taken advantage of. Most recently, I took my car in for an oil change. The format of the process is a little different than last year. Instead of parking the vehicle and sitting in the waiting area, you stay with your car the whole time. I was so impressed by how efficient and professional the service providers were. Everyone from the person who took down my information to the people working on the engine were friendly and took the time to explain to me every part of the process. The transparency was much appreciated. Whoever is training the staff at this business is really doing their job right. A positive work environment was not only evident to myself, but I'm sure the employees recognize that as well. read more

I brought in my 2000 Honda Civic in and told them I wanted a regular oil change......they were very nice and got it done quick then I got an $82 bill..........I asked them what they put in there they told me synthetic because this cars regular should be synthetic. I asked them how much was a regular oil change he told me double....I asked him what? Its a $165 bux for regular I told him....he said no $42 but the synthetic gets you twice the mileage regular does........I actually paid it and will never go back. read more

Made an appointment for my snow tires that I purchased from Tires Plus last winter back on for this season. My appointment was for 2pm. I brought my car in a 1pm and dropped it off. The counter person said they would get to it right away. Came back a 3pm and still not done. I waited and watched two oil field truck roll in and get taken care of prior to my vehicle. I finally got my car a 4:15pm. Minot is a small town with growing pains, but they seem to care more about their big contracts vice the consumer. If you can go some place else. read more

Do not take your vehicle here!!! I took my 06 Nissan z in for an oil change and they did not put all the oil back in. It was 4 quarts low. There master mechanic said my car burned it. No car can burn 4 quarts of oil in 1000 miles of driving without a leak. The guy at Nissan said there was no evidence of a leak or signs of it burning oil. The bottom line is I spent $480.00 to get this fixed and they will not claim responsibility. I will taking my 2 vehicles else where from now on. read more
