The worst experience, I regret everything about using Dr. Stanton. I had high hopes when I chose Dr. Stanton for hip implant surgery. I provided clear goal photos (mostly of myself wearing silicone pads) and emphasized my desire for a *natural result.* During our phone consultation, I was told I was a great candidate. I trusted his expertise and moved forward. The day of surgery was the first time I met him in person. I reiterated my concerns: no high implants, no harsh tapering, and a natural appearance. I left surgery feeling hopeful. The next day I noticed they were sitting very high. On our follow up call that day I was told by his staff that the implants would not settle downward, adding to my heightened anxiety about the results immensely. At my first post-op visit, my husband and I voiced concerns and referenced my wish photos. Rather than feeling supported, I witnessed Dr. Stanton argue with my husband, becoming defensive and unprofessional. When I followed up again weeks later, I was told the high placement and indentations could be fixed with additional fat grafting and butt implants, something I was never told might be necessary prior to surgery. He also falsely claimed I requested "a bigger look," which I never did. I chose Dr. Stanton based on his advertised expertise. Waiting to tell a patient until post-op that a revision or additional surgery may be necessary suggests a serious lack of expertise and integrity. I consulted multiple board-certified surgeons, all of whom recommended implant removal due to how unnatural and distorted the results were. A few even urged urgency, so my skin could recover. I emailed Dr. Stanton multiple times requesting a refund or meaningful response, but he refused to communicate outside of an in-person visit. I no longer felt safe under his care and did not want to continue to be gas-lit and lied to during in-person visits. In May 2025, I had the implants removed by a different surgeon, at my own cost. While removal was the right decision, I remain traumatized and heartbroken by the entire experience. I had two prior elective surgeries with another doctor and loved my results, this was the complete opposite. I chose this doctor because I was repeatedly told he was "the best." When I arrived for my consultation, however, I immediately felt uncomfortable. His demeanor made me feel self-conscious about prior work I had done, and at times it felt as though he was mocking or criticizing previous surgeons rather than approaching my case with professionalism and empathy. Despite that, I was hopeful and even excited to move forward, trusting the reputation I had heard and believing I was in the best hands. The entire process felt rushed. On the day of my appointment, the doctor was approximately an hour and a half late. Instead of speaking directly with him about important details, I was directed to communicate with his assistant, who was out of town in a different time zone. Eventually, after connecting with her, I agreed to proceed with surgery because I was leaving town within a few days and the timeline felt compressed. The financing process was not clearly explained. I was told there was a six-month no-interest promotional period through CareCredit. However, it was never clearly disclosed to me that the full balance would need to be paid off within those six months or deferred interest would be added retroactively. I was specifically instructed not to run the card myself and to allow the office to process it so they could apply the promotional terms, which I was told was a request from the doctor. Only later did I discover that I am now expected to pay off a $20,000 balance within six months or incur significant interest charges. When I reached out for clarification, I was told that the terms were "in the paperwork," but they were never properly or thoroughly explained to me. Additionally, I was told a specific implant size would be used during my procedure, but a smaller implant was ultimately placed without clear explanation. This left me feeling misled and concerned that I may need revision surgery in the future. If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Dr. Ryan Stanton has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, he was consistently late to appointments and showed a complete lack of professionalism and empathy. Not only did I end up with a serious infection after my procedure, but I later discovered he had implanted a smaller-sized implant than what we had originally discussed-- after we only talked about 600cc and if he wasn't able to input that, in his words "he'll definitely will be able to implant 500cc ( I received neither). To make matters worse, I was left with severe scarring that doesn't even align with my natural gluteal crease (butt crack). The incisions flare outward, and the resulting keloid scars are dark, raised, and highly visible--especially any time I bend over even slightly. It's incredibly embarrassing, and it's a constant reminder of the trauma I went through, both physically and emotionally. No one should have to live with scars like these from a procedure that was supposed to improve their confidence. When I brought up my concerns about the infection, he initially informed me it was an infection and sent me medication for it but then from reaching out to his coordinator he was denying it! Until he was confronted with undeniable evidence. Today it seemed as though he expected me to not bring it up because they eventually weeks later gave me medication to stuff my butt until it healed. The only reason I healed was due to my husband being tentative. Instead of taking responsibility he became defensive during this distressing phone call. I tried to express how traumatic this entire experience had been for me, and he belittled me, spoke over me, told me I "wasn't important," and then hung up on me. A doctor--someone who is supposed to care for and support their patients--telling a patient they're not important? Absolutely unacceptable. I was initially willing to let a lot of this go, but that last phone call changed everything. It was clear I was nothing more than a dollar sign to him. The way I was treated was dehumanizing and traumatic. His online reputation and nickname "the Butt King" do not reflect the reality of the care (or lack thereof) that I received. Just because someone has a flashy brand and charges significantly more than other surgeons does not mean they're skilled, ethical, or compassionate. I paid $15,000-$16,000 for glute implants, believing they were a lifetime investment since I was told they would never need to be replaced. Best doctor ever! I made the mistake of having my butt implants done with another doctor who I paid a lot of money for in Manhattan and what a mistake that was! Dr. Stanton is superior in every way! Everything with Dr. Stanton has been better. From the staff being genuinely nice to my recovery being much easier and faster. The coordinator is caring and friendly. The nurse is super friendly and amazing with the needle, I didn't feel anything! This was the first time I wasn't cold after surgery because she made sure to keep me warm. His patented and unique design gives a much nicer shape than the original circle implant. It's a shame all doctors aren't using his design because it would give women such nicer results! If you're considering getting your butt done I high recommend getting it ONLY with Dr. Stanton. The first time I did the standard round shape so I can compare results of what his looks like to the regular round shape and his is 100% the winner! It looks more natural and the coverage is longer which brings the whole butt look together perfectly. With the round implant there is a slight dip between where the implant ends and where the bottom of the butt continues but with his design it seamlessly transitions into the lower part of the booty giving it that natural perfect look! Don't waste your money going to another doctor. When it comes to your body it's worth to spend more to be safe and happy. I had gone on a consultation with another plastic surgeon and he told me that in order to achieve my outcome, he'd have to cut me up and leave my stomach with a huge ass anchor cut. I have been to a lot of plastic surgeons for various procedures (only 2 actual surgeries to date and I am 55 years). I have to say that this was one of the best experiences in a doctor's office I have ever had that I was so inclined to write a review even though I"m not technically saavy. Clean, clean, clean. I did not feel rushed. While I waited maybe fifteen minutes, I was greeted by a friendly and informative staff. I was the only person in the office which was explained by saying he did not like to jam pack his schedule so that he had enough time to meet with each patient. BRAVO!. All my questions were answered and his prices were beyond reasonable. The lovely girl he works with helped me every step of the way and my experience was so painless and easy, I would do it all over again. Hardly any scars and back to work in a week. Had an appointment for lip enhancement and botox. Both treatments went ok. Although I do believe that their pricing for botox is a bit much and they do not charge per unit, it is per area! Following treatment, I have a lump in my lower lip and my eyebrows dropped a little. Unhappy with both treatments. Went back in to speak about this to the dr. and re: lip enhancement he said to massage the lump and if it does not go away, he will have to make an incision in the lip, the issue with the botox was completely ignored. Dr. Stanton's exact response was: well, next time we'll do it differently. This was my first time doin botox and I have no idea if there are doctors out there who would "fix" the type of issue that I had, but nonetheless I was not happy with the customer service at all.
