Scheduling was easy. Arrived promptly for Premium detail on my 2014 Honda Civic. Final result was good with no problems on the car. Everything was washed and dried: carpets, mats and chairs shampooed. First detail on the car in 10 years and it looks good as new Took 3.5 hours as estimated on the website. Technician was friendly and respectful. Decent value for the money, make sure to pay in cash or venmo to avoid credit card fee. read more

I was able to get an appointment when I wanted even though it was just a couple days away. Alex was the rep who serviced my car a year ago. He came back again to completely restore my Tesla Model Y interior after a year of being beat up by my toddler son. Do not be turned away by the cost! The value is in the meticulousness. read more

Alex showed up over an hour late--the appointment was scheduled between 10 and 12, and he didn't arrive until 1:05. While he applied some paint, he skipped the sanding and buffing, leaving a blob of paint and excess buildup. Most importantly, he didn't polish the area, so there's no protection for the finish. You can clearly see the uneven texture and dull spot in the photo. Overall, the job felt rushed and incomplete. read more

I went with RX3 accidentally because I had forgotten I had booked them online, but it was a pleasant accident nonetheless. I committed a cardinal sin and got "sick" in my boyfriend's 2023 BMW M340I after a night of drinking. I booked the mess remediation interior detail probably around 10 PM last night and the 8-10 am slot the next day(today) with a $50 expedited service fee. I got a call around 8 AM this morning that they were here. Lester was great, and my boyfriend was amazed that his car looked brand new again and no traces of my mishap were present. While I was initially shocked by the sticker price, I think it was worth it overall, given the amount of time (3 hours or so) they came to our apartment; turnaround time was perfect for my little emergency. I highly recommend them and we will definitely use them again in the future for normal circumstances too read more

My review is long overdue! RX3 has taken care of my cars a few times over the years now. The result shows in the finish of the car. I'm always blown away with how shiny and new my cars look after they are done with them. My Audi has never been filthy per se but you can see the Jeep was pretty mucked up after a transport. Worth the value if you can stomach the cost, which is actually really competitive for the Bay Area. I just miss LA car washes. If you splurge on your cars and take care of them, Jeremias is who picks up my calls and he's always been great. read more

I was gifted an interior car detailing for my birthday, and was really excited because my car really needed it. The convenience of having someone come out to my location was something I was especially looking forward to. The initial appointment was for a 10a-12p arrival. We received a number of confirmation emails and texts that all said 10a-12p arrival. The day of the appt, we got a call and text at 9a when we were unavailable, and then a message that the detailer had come and gone and we'd need to reschedule for another day. It wasn't the most professional phone call, and rescheduling was not convenient, but things happen and we wanted to be flexible. After calling the office, we rescheduled for a few days later, again with a 10a-12p arrival window. They did mention that the detailer might run a little behind because his earlier job was substantial. On the day of the rescheduled appt, 12p came and went with no update and no detailed. We called the office at 12:15 and Daisy contacted the detailer to find out an ETA. Luckily, we had a little bit of flexibility. She said the detailer would arrive within 25 minutes. An hour later, Jeremiah arrived. Jeremiah was polite, engaging, and got right to work. He spent 2 hours and 15 minutes and when finished, the car looked so much better. He paid particular attention to the carpeting, which looks brand new. The leather, one side of the windshield, and a few random spots on the console could've used a bit more attention, but all in all, the car interior looks markedly better than it did pre-detail, and I'm generally pleased. Upon completion, Jeremiah said he needed to take payment. The person who booked this appt for me had provided a credit card upon booking, but I wound up paying for my own birthday gift. Not a big deal, but just another administrative detail that was a bit off. All in all, the quality of Jeremiah's work was solid, and my opinion of that isn't impacted by the hassle of scheduling. If I hadn't had flexibility in my schedule, it would've been really problematic to have to reschedule and to have to wait as long on the second attempt. read more

Did not do the services claimed , when called out and shown pictures they say I don't know what I'm talking about cause I'm not a professional detailer . Well apparently neither are they. When asking for a price adjustment he wants to get off phone. read more

Alex and Lester showed up on time. They were so friendly and professional. My car was really, really messy. They didn't make me feel bad for the way my car looked. They took their time. It took them longer than expected because I forgot to tell them about the dog hair. I am going to use them for my next cleaning. I definitely RX3 Car detailing. Thank you so much read more

I needed my car detailed, and I also need a wash for it. I saw this place driving down the street, so I stopped in. They gave me a good rate, and I couldn't disagree more. They really clean my car out, not only did they get the inside, but they got the outside. My car ended up looking really bright new, and I was really satisfied with the performance that they did to my car. If you ever need a car wash, or a detail, this is the company to use. They not only do a great job, but they are able to satisfy any of your needs. My car was smelling great, and thank you so much!!!!! read more

The technician showed up 30 minutes late. There were several places that were not clean properly, marks and dust left. In addition, there was gunk left from the wet, cleaning and shampooing, and the side hatches not clean. Totally not what I expected at all from reading the reviews, would not recommend. read more

Had my car detailed and unfortunately a few spots were missed. I called them back and they were on top of making sure my concerns were heard. They told me they would come back out or I could take the car in to their shop. Went into their location in Hayward and the owner personally redid the entire car for me. Really amazing customer service even though they didn't hit the nail on the head the first time they made it right and made sure I was satisfied with the service I received. read more

A for effort. Cat urine soaked into the back seat is a tough problem.Initially, I only paid for the service to remove the urine and the odor. I really didn't notice a difference after the first visit. So they came back a second time at no charge and I decided to have them do interior detail as well, just to be really thorough and try to cover all the bases. I feel like they really gave the urine problem maximum effort, but it was still lingering after the second attempt... probably not as bad. It's hard to tell when you've been marinating in it for a week and a half and you expect to smell it. I bought some febreze car fresheners and I'm hotboxing them daily... hoping they'll penetrate and saturate and kill the linger. The interior cleaning was pretty good, but ironically they didn't do a good job of minding the details. I think someone smeared the wrong cleaner over my gauges and I had to take glass cleaner to it. The most bothersome thing is the new "water spots" on my windshield. They weren't there before the second visit. No amount of glass cleaner and rubbing is making them go away. The good news is, my windshield needs to be replaced anyway. read more

There customer service is not good. I booked for car service late evening at there time of closing for next day and due to some emergency couldn't keep the appointment so I had to cancel it but I was charged 35% cancelation fee which upon booking i was never told. Terrible! June 22nd they were scheduled to detail the interior of my work truck, because the last person to use it left a foul odor that was absolutely nauseating! I specifically asked for a full interior detail with the upgraded $75 "odor removal," service. Tech showed up on time, but didn't have the "odor removal machine," with him... I explained to him the main reason I needed the car cleaned was the smell, so he proceeded to clean the carpets and seats - that was it. 30 minutes later he says, "all done." Then explained that he found where the smell was, cleaned it & left some odor-absorbing powder in the area. "$340+, please." I asked, what about the dash, windows and all of the other items that were supposed to be included? He proceeded to tell me he didn't know that was included - WAIT, You didn't bring the odor removal machine, then thought you were only providing odor removal service????? He reduced the charge to $175 (including tip, should've given him $0) for "odor removal," only - oh and BTW, if the smell comes back after 48 hours it's not guaranteed.... SHADY, SHADY, SHADY. here we are only 1 1/2 weeks later and guess what's coming back? The SMELL... DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, I HAVE INFORMED OUR FLEET DEPARTMENT & YOU SHOULD INFORM YOURS! read more

I got the inside and outside of my car detailed, shampoo'd, and vacuumed. I was very pleased with how my car looked post service and it is dope that they are mobile and come to you. I'd definitely recommend this company to others looking for a hard reset on their car. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the streaks that were left on my front windshield and windows, but those developed hours after the crew had left. Felt like it was still worth the money! read more

Communication and booking is fast and went smoothly. I booked a full interior detail with a basic exterior wash. They come with their van that's fully equipped to do the service without supplying water or power. They arrived within the time window and completed the work pretty quickly. I did a walk around and found several spots that were missed, and the guys went back and cleaned up/touched up those areas. The car came out pretty clean but there was still dust and debris that I had to brush out all over the car. Disappointed to see that they missed a layer of dust in the glove box (it was completely missed), all of the exterior windows had streak marks, and the interior windows and windshield have haze and dirt on them still that I will need to go back and clean myself. Would I recommend? Probably not--I would try someone else. read more

The RX3 team did an amazing job on my 2017 Toyota Tundra. Not only did they bring the dirty as heck interior back to basically new, they did a great refinishing job on some nasty scratches on my tailgate. I would give RX3 Car Detailing 6 stars if I could! I'm usually picky (and slightly paranoid) when it comes to people touching my car. I'm also "eh" about mobile detailers because they often don't have the equipment to perform what they promise, or they just show up late! Jeremiah has detailed my car a few times now, and each time has been perfect. He's been able to get scratches out that others couldn't or wouldn't even try. He's punctual, kind, and really treats your car like it's his own. Most importantly, his results are second to none! I highly recommend if you're looking for a quality mobile detailer who will make your car look amazing! read more

I had wonderful experience with Rx3 Auto Detail. I asked about a quote on Sunday morning and I received a response from David quickly. Later on that day, on a Sunday, Jeremiah showed up and knew exactly how to fix the scratch and remove paint on the bumper of my Honda CRV. I have a teal green color and I don't even notice where there was damage. Really excellent job, Jeremiah! We appreciate your attention to detail and getting the job done so professionally. I would use you guys again for sure. The best part of their business is the follow through and confirmation of details before beginning the work. read more

Jeremiah was the best! Very professional and curious! I wasn't expecting I needed to get more done to my car, but Jeremiah was so helpful and the price was definitely fair! The detailers did a subpar job of cleaning the wheels. You can tell that a wheel brush wasn't utilized. And much of the tire dressing smeared onto the wheels and were left on. So I had to basically wash my wheels again. And also they left streaks on my windshield which means they didn't use a microfiber towel to clean and then another one to dry. Would not use these guys again. read more

My initial conversation with this business was prompt and responsive. I booked an interior detail through the website on the same day, last Saturday, noon to 2. About an hour later, the business called and told me that they were booked the entire weekend, and asked if Monday worked. I replied and told them yes, and scheduled an appointment at noon. I got automated text reminders leading up to yesterday for this time. Around 30 minutes past noon go by, and I have not heard from anyone. I decided to call the number that I spoke with last weekend, and my calls went unanswered. Someone called back at about 1:15 and mocked me for not understanding that the 12 to 2 was a window of arrival time (when the booking details described this time as 'date'), and let me know she was on lunch break. I didn't get an eta until 1:55, when my 'window' ended at 2. The interior detail was okay, my car wasn't very dirty in the first place, just a few spots needed to be steamed. My biggest concern is the people that cleaned my car left debris on my driveway. I will not be using this service again. read more

These guys did a great job on my car. Made sure all my needs were met. They worked on the exterior, and also helped with a stubborn stain I had on my seat. Yonathan even met up with me 2 more times after the initial time he worked on the car to get the stain out. They really stick to their promise of making sure you are happy with the service. They were so professional and easy because they travel to you! They have all the material so you don't need to provide them anything. They are totally worth it and such a great concept! I had a great experience with RX3 car detailing a couple weeks ago. I needed the interior of my FJ Cruiser cleaned after years of wear and tear. My parents bought a used Macan recently but the previous owner's dog hair was all over the place. Jeremiah came by and cleaned both cars in a few hours. He did a great job. Buying my car and never having my beige seats cleaned before, the stains eventually took a toll leaving it unsightly. Finally after 5 years of resenting the beauty it initially had, I purchased custom waterproof seat covers and floor liners. Anticipating their arrival, I coordinated scheduling a deep clean with RX3. I messaged them through Yelp for a quote. David was the rep on the other end answering all my questions, and he never failed to disappoint me in waiting for a response even if it was very late at night *ahem close to midnight!*. I saw the estimate which later turned to be the exact price I paid. The tech came, did a really thorough job in 2 hrs, or maybe 3 I forgot. I should have taken a before & after, but I don't want to incriminate myself for the neglect of cleaning, well C'mon, I have a little kid! They said it would take approximately 3 days to fully dry, but the shampooing went so deep that it actually took 2 weeks! Had to use thick bath towels as a barrier to the dampness. Ventilated it with cracked windows. After it completely dried there were still some spots with very minor cleaning needed, but I figured I wouldn't bother RX3 to come back out free of charge as they mentioned. I gave the tech a good gratuity, I think. I'm very happy with the outcome and can't complain about their level of service - both customer and labor! read more

Please note that when they give you a time of arrival, that is an estimate of time. That means that they will show up between the two hour slot. I did not realize that at first, but they did show up by about 9:30 AM that time. It was said in the email, but I did not realize it. Not an issue. Just wanted to make that clear. They did a fantastic job. My car wasn't that clean coming off the lot. The steaming of the seats, even what they did with the interior, amazing. It's been over a week and my car still looks fresh. They did the job fast. And they did it right in the parking lot of my complex. But it wasn't fast and sloppy. It was fast, they were precise, and they were very detailed and even gave recommendations to help with some other things like a paint job because of a chip on my car. I will definitely be using them for my next detailing. I was told that I should be detailing my car three times a year, so they will be seeing me three times a year read more

I booked online which was super easy and I was able to get detailed the next day. I indicated online I wanted an interior/exterior detail and that I did NOT have water/power sources (their sight says that is OK they just need to know). The serviceperson arrived on time, and immediately looked at my interior and said there would be a pet hair charge (I have never had a pet inside the car, ever). This was a few strands of MY hair, and I got charged for "excessive pet hair". Secondly, when it came to doing the exterior, I got a call from the serviceperson that he needed water. I said I don't have exterior access to water, and he said he wouldn't be able to do the exterior cleaning then. The opposite of what the website indicated would be perfectly fine. Overall--ease of booking but really expensive and really poor execution of promised services. read more

Did a good job cleaning my car. They were flexible with meeting up with me and quick. I'd recommend cracking your windows if you're not coming back to your car for a while because the car can get a bit musty if it sits all day. They were easy to work with and I'll use them again! read more

This review isn't based on their work. Scheduled an early appointment. Unfortunately they were late. Texted me at 7:50ish for my 7:30am appointment letting me know they would be there in 5 minutes. I was a bit baffled by the fact that it seemed as though he had no idea that I had scheduled an appointment at 7:30am despite having discussed it over the phone with him the night before. I also received an automated text an hour before my appointment. I totally understand that 7:30 on a Saturday is super early, but if you are unable to keep your commitments for that time don't offer it. Also, maybe have your automated texts and emails synced to your own, if it's not already so you are aware of what your potential clients needs are. read more

I enjoy writing great reviews but only two stars are given for this detail shop due to the fact that I still had to clean my truck after I purchased a $70.00 detailing which was supposed to include cleaning the inside and outside of my SUV. Although the few gentlemen who assisted me were very accommodating and nice, there were several spots left unclean in these areas of my vehicle: 1.) rims 2.) lower door panels 3.) side panels 4.) bumpers (including both license plates) 5.) windshield (inside and out) 6.) middle console 7.) front middle cup holders Pros: 1.) They managed to shine the rubber on my tires. 2.) They were able to scrape old duck tape stickiness off my side window. 3.) The top half on the outside of my truck was cleaner than the bottom. 4.) They vacuumed the front and rear floors I would have given 3 stars but I will not be able to since I did not appreciate the customer service I received from one staff member who identified himself as a Manager. Instead of receiving a warm welcome for my patronage, I only managed to receive a nonchalant response and a quick dismissal as soon as it became apparent that I was only interested in a wash & detailing. (FYI there is also a car sales lot which is connected to the detail shop next door). read more

The car looks pretty good on the outside but there was still some dust/ dirt on the carpets and the windshield has all kinds of streaks from the wash. I had to buy microfiber cloths and glass cleaner to get rid of them myself. The technician (I didn't catch his name) also left a half full bottle of vitamin water sitting on my backseat. They also managed to somehow break the hose connection outside causing water to be running heavily for the entire time he was here (got here at 2 left at 4 something) I didn't notice it until around 5. My roommate and I are trying to fix it but I would like compensation for this. We're probably going to have to call a plumber to come fix it and It is going to cause my water bill to be sky high. read more
