The service department saved our vacation! Our Nash slideout got stuck when we went to bring it in on our overnight headed up to Coeur D'Alene for the week. We finally got it in by pulling on it. I called RVs Northwest where we bought our Nash 5 years prior. Don in service said they could look at it when we got there to diagnose. When we arrived, Don immediately had Steve, their mechanical tech check it out. It had gotten out of sync, he found the hidden control box, reset it and resynchronized the motors, then showed us how to do it if it ever happened again. It's been working great since. We were on our way home from vacationing in Oregon. Somewhere along the way the RV electric cord that attaches to pickup receptacle came undone and was dragging. First thing I did was look up RV shops in Spokane. We were not fond of 2 that were in the Valley. Per RVs Northwests fantastic reviews and the fact they sold Arctic Fox campers we headed there for the nite. Of course I called to let them know what problem we had and that we would like to park in their lot for the nite, and be in in the am. Parking lot was ample size to pull in. Despite being right off I 90, the noise did not bother us. In the am the service dept employee was there at 0700. We waited till 0715 till he brought a sign out and the Open sign on. We were welcomed by a great gentleman asking what he could do for us. We gave the scoop and he headed out with my hubby. Next thing I knew he was back at the counter, put the info in, had a new 7 way electrical cord. Said it would take 30-60 min replacement. The service guy was moving the trailer in as we spoke. Less than hour later we were getting back in the truck to hook up. The employees were so friendly and professional. From the service desk guy, the service guy, the gentleman who came out of office 2nd hallway from bathroom, and the blonde woman who came in with coffees. They were so pleasant and fun to visit with. WRAP UP - What a fantastic company to have in the Spokane Valley. Quality trailers (Arctic Fox), and great crew. Very easy access, 1 block off of I 90. We recommend them highly. I purchased an 2008 Artic Fox Truck Camper from RV's NW, and over the years have had it Winterized and Readied each year since. Last year I had a major service conducted and based on the items being replaced I was confident that the service dept was doing a good job... I rarely used the Camper but wanted to keep it in good working order hence the routine of regular servicing. This year I decided to actually plan a trip and use the Camper, I had RV's NW ready the Camper for use and figured all was well. Nothing could be further from the truth. First I tried sanitizing the fresh water system and found that the Kitchen Faucet was inoperative and needed to be replaced. Next I found that the Motor on the A/C was faulty and it too needed to be replaced. This all was discovered a week before the trip was planned to start. Needless to say the trip was cancelled, deposits were lost for reservations that were made and other family members that were bringing their RV's were disappointed we were not able to join in. I was a loyal RV's NW customer for thirteen years, no longer. Very poor performance RV's NW you should all be ashamed. read more

With that type of business practice, I would never recommend, or purchase anything from them. When I told some friends about our experience, he said he went to purchase an RV from them, and the salesman was so arrogant, they bought at another dealership. We've been looking at either an Arctic Fox or a Fox Mountain for almost a year. We even took a look at our options and met someone at another dealership in the middle of winter, thinking we could get a better deal. We could not settle on a price with them that we felt was fair. So my husband called three other dealerships, then on a whim, we looked for a dealership that was near a camping trip we wanted to take. My husband gave me RV's Northwest contact information and asked me to call them. I spoke with Develle and told him exactly what we were looking for. Not only was he prompt, professional and friendly, but he was also quick to research and get back to us with the information we needed to make a decision. We loved giving him our money. The entire experience was pain free and easy and we could not have gotten a better deal on a brand new 2018 Fox Mountain. We are thrilled. When we arrived for our pick up, you could tell the entire dealership was very interested in our experience with them. We met the owner, and the woman in bookkeeping was as nice as nice could be. It's too bad they are a three hour drive from us, otherwise I am sure we would love to use them for service. Absolutely a great experience all around. read more

This is so long overdue but back in September I had been passing through the Spokane area on a road trip in my campervan. Pulling over to get a surge protector, we went into the showroom to inquire about if they sold them there. We were greeting at the desk by three incredibly lovely women who were so sweet to us. They were seriously so hospitable and went so far as to print out a map and some instructions we would end up using later. We moved on to get the surge protector and I was helped by the sales clerk who was patient answering all my questions and letting me test the equipment on sight to ensure it was what we wanted. As if we weren't impressed already, we asked the service department if they could look at a faulty drawer in our rig. The positive lock was loose making the drawer open and slam shut while driving. Without hesitation, JJ quickly grabbed some tools and got everything squared away. They did it so quickly and seamlessly and we were so grateful for their help. We were so grateful for the whole team but want to extend a special thank you to JJ for your generosity and time! I was working with Quentin ("Q") over the phone as they had a trailer I was interested in. I was working with him out of state so did our communications over the phone. He pretty much played the game the entire time - "no way my boss will go for that price "my man." Oh suddenly he will. Anyway - I asked for the spec sheet. He kept saying it was on line. It wasn't. Then I said we were interested - "you need to put a deposit down otherwise I may sell." They had at least 2 models. Thank God I didn't. I asked for the weight because the weight differentiates, rig to rig. "Oh it's 4000lbs, my man." Asked him to shoot me a picture of the RV sticker. "Oh, I'm catching a flight. It's 4000. How bout that deposit." I said that I'd be happy to reach out to the dealership myself and to have a safe flight." No response until the next day. Then I asked again the next day if I should reach out to the boss - then he responded, "I'll send it to you." It was 4400. Kind of a big deal when your capacity is 5000. "Told him it was too heavy and I was glad we checked." No response. Maybe he was upset he missed his flight. He had no qualms about locking me in to buying a trailer that was too heavy and that I would've traveled 12 hours back and forth to get. Super sketch. This current rental for 8 days was a rescheduled reservation from one that was unavoidably canceled last year due to travel complications resulting from Hurricane Maria. The staff was very helpful and customer friendly then as well as now. A particular shout out goes to Cindy and Diana the company's rental agents. Both went out of there way to secure our complete satisfaction with the rental process. This was the 6th time I have rented an RV and the most enjoyable and problem free.The unit was well maintained,clean and ready to perform. We took it on an 700 mile trip to Glacier National Park in Montana and it was perfect.Kudos to this organization and its staff . If you are ever in the area of eastern Washington state this is the place to rent. it is worth your time and money to use this organization..........new and seasoned Rv users alike will be pleased with what they offer. Purchased our current fifth wheel from them just over a year ago. Service then was wonderful. Since then... Had warranty work done in June and it's now mid October and it still hasn't been turned in for refund. Gave it another try for winterizing. We got our rig back and they had completely drained both batteries. Will we be back... doubtful. read more

Bought new RV Sept. 2012. Purchased extended 8 year warranty. At 2016 was told my RV was so old when I contacted shop for issues. Contacted sales associate regarding the response and was told again RV so old. Same sales person and shop employee who bargained me to purchase Alcohol for them as thank you for repairs in 2015? Purchased large bottle for salesman and manager of repair shop. Only first two years after purchase were they helpful and honored my warranty. Money not well spent on RV or their extended warranty. Then after the service department would do the install he said "I would make sure they don't" Just a winner in my book, why would you turn away business... Took our class A there to be de winterized. Our chassis battery was acting up so they checked said it needed to be replaced and our coach batteries were low as well. We decided to replace all and paid for labor to do so. Got motorhome home and parked have been setting up getting ready to go out on trip. Stairs not working engine completely dead. Open battery terminal, STILL completely covered in corrosion and chassis battery was just slopped in and not even properly tightened. Husband was able to re tighten bolts and it started up. Now we have to clean up all the corrosion from old batteries. Assumed when we paid for labor to install our batteries the terminals and cables would be cleaned off as well and they would be installed tightly. If I knew this I would have saved our money and done it ourselves. Wont ever go back there for service and after seeing how the service department works won't ever buy from there either. read more

BAD PARTS / BAD REPAIR / BAD Service / THEFT WE bought our RV new from RVs Northwest last Fall. We were first time RV owners. RVs Northwest did not go over the use of the TV at all during our buyer overview. We drove directly to a campground approximately 2-hrs away and found the TV outstretched from the wall. Later, in a cupboard, we discovered a velcro strap. We finally figured out this was to secure the TV. The TV never worked. We brought it into RVs Northwest to have the TV fixed and have an instant hot water heater installed. TV was never fixed (and when we got it home - the TV was AGAIN unsecured and away form the wall). The TV now hangs crooked due to damage to RV wall caused by the TV weight swinging during transit. BAD SERVICE / BAD REPAIR We also asked for someone to go over the new instant hot water heater with us. Nobody did. They handed us the OEM paperwork and said it was self explanatory. The instant hot water heater LEAKED immediately. The black water tank was 3/4 full and STUNK!!!! When we brought it in to repair the leak, they told us it was normal for the hot water tank to drain to the black water tank. Again, they returned it to us LEAKING and with the black water tank 1/3 full and SMELLY. BAD SERVICE / BAD REPAIR RVs Northwest also did not return four of our leveling blocks. THEFT. When we contacted RVs Northwest (about the 10th time), the General Manager did offer to pickup our RV and transport it to RVs Northwest and get the repairs correct. I was very impressed with this RV dealership. Coming from Canada I was very honest with them that I was looking around to see what there was and they did not flinch. Brittany very nicely showed us what I was looking for and even when it didn't quite fit the bill she was ok answering questions about how it would work if we were to take a new RV over the border and what paperwork would need to be done. I would definitely recommend them to Canadians who would like to purchase in the USA as they were helpful, had good stock and great prices! My husband and I purchased a 5th wheel from Rv's Northwest many years ago when our children were younger. Now, we are empty nesters and we wanted to purchase a 5th wheel that met our needs now. We purchased another used 5th wheel and all seemed well until we took it out on our first camping trip a week after we picked it up. When we did, the refrigerator didn't stay cool on electric, only propane. We took it back to the dealer and they had to replace a part. Instead of no charge because it was our first time out with the 2015 5th wheel, they charged us parts and labor. It was $300. It should all have been free and no charge as it wasn't working I am sure before we purchased it. I will not recommend nor will we purchase from RV's Northwest again. Finally I said hi and he gave us the look of what are you doing here? After waiting for him to greet us he said nothing, just stared at us like we were bothering him. Waiting for a greeting and he said "yep" and left it at that, after waiting for him to help us and getting nothing I said, "so..... do we just help our selves? We rented a trailer - downsized from a motorhome due to some unforeseen issues with the motorhome we were suppose to have. Well!! These guys there could not have been more accommodating, friendly, helpful, nice,,, etc. Diana, Cindy, Matt and the entire rental crew was so fun to talk to and work with. DO NOT TRUST RVs Northwest. We purchased our trailer new from RVs Northwest. The first time we towed in the rain we had water inside toe trailer at the front edge of the slide while towing ans well as a leak at the center of the slide while parked in the rain. we took it in for repair while under warranty. The next time we towed in the rain, we had the exact same issue, water on the floor at the front of the slide and running into the bathroom. we took it back again and they made another ATTEMPT to repair. Again, the next time we towed in the rain, same problem. Took it back for another ATTEMPT. This issue has now been going on for two years. Last time we towed in the rain, same issue. The service department states in is now my problem and will cost in the neighborhood of $3000 to repair. They state they fixed it every time it was in, however, the fact is they ATTEMPTED, unsuccessfully, to resolve the issue. The leak has not changed in any way since the first time it was in. I spoke to the owner and received a very condescending attitude. The leak is only there when towing in the rain, so there are long periods between leaks and no way of knowing if it was fixed or not. Now they are not interested in resolving the issue, turning the expense over to the owner. This has been, and still is a problem since it was new and under warranty. . They basically laughed at me when I suggested legal action, as if "whatever, you are on your own, you can't do anything about it." There is no indication of integrity whatsoever from RVs Northwest, starting with the owner. My recommendation is to avoid this dealership, they are happy to take your money, but that is where the warm fuzzy feeling stops. Update: As usual, RVs Norhtwest is dazed and confused. The response was absurd, clearly illustrating they have no ability to listen to customers, or even keep their customers straight! THEIR RESPONSE WAS THAT WE HAD A WATER DISH FOR OUR DOG IN THE AREA OF THE LEAK!!! Seriously??? We DO NOT HAVE A DOG!! Second item in response...damage to slide. The slide had been hit and repaired before we purchased the trailer, there has been NO damage since we took possession!! Good grief, point the finger at the customer. Again, this is a clear illustration that this facility has no idea what is going on. Blame the customer is the standard answer. Wow, this response is a clear illustration of their condescending attitude. As for maintenance, the service department at no time made any suggestions for needed maintenance. Message to the owner - We both know what is going on here, paint it however you want, the bottom line is we STILL have a leak, and it has never been resolved since the beginning. Your attitude is appalling. Like Share Response from the owner 22 minutes ago Robb, You're exhausting. You bought your RV two and half years ago. You've had a few different seal problems that were either covered under warranty or we paid for at our cost as a customer relations expense to stay in good faith with you. We don't build RVs. We do sell and repair them. You admittedly did not do the recommended maintenance as described in your owners manual. You also neglected to inform us that you damaged your slide by hitting something. We took pictures of the cosmetic slide damage because you threatened to sue us over an issue that is not our fault. You tried to make the current issue related to the last one. So, we are obviously unwilling to pay for this repair and now you are mad. So be it. We have spent hours trying to replicate your claim of a leak in your coach, and can't. That means there is no leak. Our technicians found a dog water dish in your slide area where you continually complain of water "only" after traveling. The chance of traveling down the road at highway speeds and enough water accumulating enough to get inside the slide area is highly unlikely. Since you said it doesn't leak while sitting, nor is there any water damage, our recommendation is to empty the water dish before you travel. read more

do not buy your rv here! jason tofte is a scammer. we just took delivery of a brand new orv, 2016 blackstone 280rdsb, it was close to $70,000 & it's a lemon! not at all what we expected or deserved for almost $70,000! jason tofte, owner & general manager of rv's northwest sold us this defective unit & now refuses to take it back. it's been less than a week & we've been trying to send it back since we got it. he got his money & now we're on our own. we've had the trailer for 6 days & spent 3 trying to give it back! we have serious safety issues! this is not buyer's remorse, this is a serious lack of quality. we're stranded in wyoming & based on the condition of the trailer on delivery, we know it's used. rv's northwest used this trailer in their rental business or as a demo, we were totally bamboozled. jason tofte was a car dealer before he & his 8 anonymous investors bought this rv store. do not expect fair treatment, he only wants your money! why won't he disclose the 8 other investors? do they know what he's doing or are we dealing with a criminal element or terrorists? either way, he jason tofte could care less about his customers, he wants money, end of story. here's a paritial list what's wrong with our new 2016 orv blackstone 280rdsb. i have photos. there is a serious & dangerous electrical problem in this trailer. 1.) no trailer brake!! safety issue! if it wasn't for a cdl & the truck we drive being equipped with a big cummins diesel, aisin trans, an engine brake & the best trailer breaking system available already on the truck, we could've been killed. 2.) fueses keep blowing; fire hazard. we've replaced them with the proper fuses, but they arc, melt & send out shocks. there's still power to them even with everything is turned off. 3.) we have no refrigerator, no vent fans, no a/c, no power to plugs or usb's. 4.) there's a 6-7" hole in our bedroom floor! it lets in heat/cold, light, bugs & dirt! how is this trailer going to be 4 season with a gaping hole in the bedroom floor? 5.) the roof is already separating; it's lifted up & bubbling, this won't last 6 months. 6.) the interior is covered in cheap, stick on wood veneer & it's already peeling off. the cabinets are roughly finished & drawer slides are mounted crooked, so many don't even close. 7.) the bathroom door has fallen off several times 8.) all 3 slides have screws broken off in the holes & the caulk around the edges is receded & dried up, they aren't even sealed properly. slides do not go in & out easily, even on the most level ground. 9.) the recliner doesn't even work & yes we know how to work it. 10.) the remotes don't work, they are all scratched up & have been sprayed with some oily residue, they look old 11.) the skylight domes on the roof are all scratched. how did the roof of a brand new rv get all scratched? answer: it's not new, we've been scammed. 12.) the crooked finance manager sold us a warranty saying it started day of purchase. when we called for our 'at location' service, we found out that's not true. we're stranded in wyoming, paying for a trailer spot & a hotel, plus the loan payments start soon & we've already insured it! we are paying for nothing! we have nothi tofte will not take back this defective trailer, money is more important! this is not what we expected or paid for. maybe orv usually makes a quality product, but this trailer cannot be included. it's a defect, a lemon & should never have been made available for sale. jason lofte, owner & president of rv's northwest in spokane, wa should never have allowed this unit to be sold in it's condition. he said it was new, but we believe he's lying. it was used for some purpose, it's not new. the refrigerator had food in it & dried on soda in the bottom. either jason tofte is lying, which i'm leaning toward since he's been the most unreceptive jerk since he got his check or orv is lying. which is it? whoever it is, there is no way that innocent consumers that purchased in good faith & paid in u.s. dollars should be left holding the bag for their deception. we bought this trailer based on what jason tofte told us, he said it was brande new & very high quality... he lied! jason tofte at rv's northwest, spokane, wa unloaded this unsafe, unlivable & unsaleable trailer on us because we're in nj, on the other side of the country & he thought he could get away with it. i'm in my 60's so i guess he thought i'd be a push over, think again jason! we need help! i have photos, check out my post on his page if he hasn't remove it. beware, of jason tofte, general manager & part owner of rv's northwest. he had these photos for days, but even after seeing them & hearing from us, he refuses to take this defective trailer back & refund our money. a scam artist through & through. read more

Worst service (sales) we've ever encountered. We bought a travel trailer which we intended to live in. Our contract indicated we would pay cash July 30, 2019. We called a week before we left Denver to be told our unit had been sold out from under us. RV Northwest said they didn't know anything about our transaction. Russ, in my opinion, is a huge Prick. He tried, unsuccessfully, to intimidate us by trying to stare us down. He must think his giant body helps with this. It doesn't. Oh, BTW, there is another unsatisfied customer picketing across the street because she can't get her down payment back. (According to her). Appleway RV is absolutely amazing!! We purchased a used slide in truck camper on the 21 of July we paid cash but was told we would have to wait for their service department to do a safety inspection. Since we were in no hurry we agreed. At no time during the initial sale were we told we had to have frame mounted tie downs. The Service Manager, Russ informed us we had to have frame mounted tie downs and refused to allow me to load our camper. They ended taking the camper to the Home Depot parking lot and dropping it allowing me to load it off of their property. I loaded the camper and tied it down and started for home. During the trip home 2 of the anchor points on the camper pulled loose. I find it hard to believe they preformed a safety inspection or they would have found the week anchor points. Since the contract is an As Is sale I have to take responsibility for the repair. Don't trust them when they say they've preformed a safety inspection. The only good points related to this sale is our salesman Quentin Eakins, who did everything he said he would help get the tie down issue resolved and the young man the took me on the walk through. The service manager was very rude. I can't in all honesty recommend buying from this company. read more

Their motorhomes are newer models and they have a detailed list of amenities that can be added to your rental. I talked to their manager Dana who was very thorough with the rental process. DO NOT BUY AN RV FROM RV'S NORTHWEST!!! We purchased a used RV from Ray for our disabled daughter. Ray assured us repeatedly that everything in the RV worked, it was the law. He showed us the paperwork of everything that would be gone over in the shop. We trusted his word. The refrigerator did not work when we got it home. I called and talked to Megan in the shop and asked her if the refrigerator worked when they had it in the shop. Her response was that it was not looked at while in the shop. My subsequent conversation with Jamie was that Megan was new there and just didn't know. The many conversations with Jamie and Jason were horrible. They are extremely rude, dishonest people. The refrigerator was toast- it had the yellow coolant powder in it. They finally agreed to give us six hundred dollars on a twelve hundred refrigerator and they refused to install it. read more

My wife and I were in the market for a small Toy Hauler. After researching extensively online, we decided that the Desert Fox 21SW would be perfect for us. RV's Northwest is the local dealer and they had a 2016 model in stock. The salesman showed us the unit they had but didn't really tell us anything about it unless we asked specific questions. He told us the MSRP and didn't act like it was negotiable. After more searching online, we found a few left over 2015 models over on the west side along with 2016 models that were 7-8000 less. After a couple weeks, we decided to go talk to RV's Northwest one more time and see what they would give us for trade on our current trailer. Although they did come down a bit in price (still not as much as the west side dealers), they were offering me 6K less for my trade than other dealers. Bought a new travel trailer at RV's NW. They had to install the electrical on my truck twice to get it right. I came back a third time about the brake controller they installed not working. A few months later I took the trailer back and was told the brakes were burned and needed replacing. They refused any warranty or responsibility and wanted almost $900 to fix the problem. When I had a problem with this company, and talked with the manger he said "what the Fuc* are you talking about". I called Q at RVs Northwest and made a deal to buy a Nash trailer for 20,000 cash, and after I brought the money down, he had another salesman take me to look at the trailer and tried to sell it to me for $28,000. I told him we had a deal for 20,000, but the salesman kept pushing and pushing us to pay them 28,000, and when we wouldn't do that, they were pushing other trailers on us for 28 to 30,000. I don't have time for pushy salesman trying to sell us stuff we don't want, and that is why we made a deal over the phone with Q for the model we wanted at a reasonable price.
