So.....forest river who makes my rv, left the transit bolts on my washing machine. So the first time I used my washing machine my whole rv shook, so i immediately called my service department. They couldn't tell me what was wrong, but said someone would call me. Two days went by, no one called me back. I called again, I was told that everyone in service was at the Expo show. So I email the service manager, no response. So I continued doing very lite loads, just in case this was not normal. Days later after reading some online chat rooms people were talking about transit bolts left on. I called the service department again and the only thing I received from the guy that answered the phone in service was an argument and to say service technician are still at the Expo show. At this point I took a video of what the washing machine was doing and send it to my salesman, Craig. ​ Now understand my salesman Craig is wonderful, but he can only do so much. So I called Forrest river, who makes my sanibel. They told me to call contoure, who makes the washing machine, which I did. And they said they couldn't help me. Because the transit bolts were not taken off of my washer, that would be a forest river thing. I had to call a service tech to come out. And look at the washer, and he said, it's the transit bolts and he took them off. But he said the washing machine had been ruined because it was run with the transit bolts, which I knew nothing about when I purchased the rv. Needless to say, it's been 45 days since I bought my RV and 45 days since I've been able to use my washing machine. The only thing people are doing for me is pointing fingers at each other saying it's not our fault. So my only recourse now is the better business bureau and the attorney general of idaho and montana. I will also be talking to my attorney. read more

The service we received from the team at Bobby Combs was so helpful. We were traveling through CDA and had an issue bringing in the slide out in our brand new Imagine. Their customer service from our first phone call, to the troubleshooting help Zac was above and beyond. He identified the part we needed and we were on our way in less than 15 minutes. As a bonus he installed a brass siphon valve that was malfunctioning. This place is awesome! Half way through a long road trip our trailer battery crapped out. Gave Bobby Combs RV a call and they said we could swing by and they'd check the battery. Serviceman Brandyn was great! Tested the battery at no charge (which was shot) and gave us a used battery for free to use until we got back home to get a new one (luckily under warranty on a 2024 trailer!). Wow. We went to Bobby Combs fully ready to purchase a brand new RV. We waited for the salesman to help us. We weren't even acknowledged. We went into the sales office and asked for help. We were told by the man in the office, he would get someone to help us. No help came. We waited and waited. There was no pricing information visible on the RV's so after about 20 min. of waiting for someone to even let us know they were coming to help us, we left. 5 stars? If I could give it more I would. I can't say enough about the level of service I experienced when I purchased my new toy hauler from Bobby Combs RV Center. I drove up from the SF Bay Area because the price was the best and the service I had already experienced over the phone from Jeff and Jennifer was stellar. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction and I felt confident that this was the place I wanted to give my business to. I hit a large deer on my drive to pick up my toy hauler which did some major damage to my truck and seriously delayed my arrival because it had to get towed the rest of the way. Over 270 miles. I was running on very little sleep and had to deal with frustrating phone calls to my insurance company. Both Jeff and Jennifer went far and away above and beyond just selling me the fifth wheel. They had helpful information that even my insurance company wasn't giving me about local body shops in the area that I could drop my truck off at, and were extremely hospitable and understanding of the situation throughout the entire process. Even the financing was a breeze. Tom really knows his stuff about the additional warranties offered and why he stands confidently behind them as opposed to some others out there. I'll sum it up by saying this; If you are in the market for an RV, fifth wheel, or tow behind trailer you should absolutely check out what Bobby Combs RV Center in Couer d'Alene Idaho has to offer. The staff in ID are amazing!! Justin, Jennifer, Jeff, and Brian! They are all so awesome and was able to get a travel trailer set up for my mom. They got us the best deal on a really awesome trailer. Anyone considerig purchasing an rv from this dealer, just be aware that they may try to make back some of their supposid discount or sale price at your expense. We were informed that if we did not use their prefered finance provider, even though our lender had lower rates, that we would have to pay the comission that they would normally get for using their lender. Also their quoted price for a battery upgrade was twice what the exact brand could be purchased for from 5 other suppliers that I checked. They are all over you while you are shoping, but can become a little misleading while finalizing a deal. These issues coupled with some attitude issues caused us to purchase our rv elsewhere. read more
