Last year (2019) at the end of the season the hydraulics for the living room slide stopped working on our MH. We took the rig to Mike at All Seasons and he fixed it. The bill was expensive (to us) with the parts and labor - but much better than the big repair facilities in the area. In chatting with Mike he encouraged us to purchase the US Warranty plan for our rig, (new to us, but a 2002 with a lot of fancy things that can go wrong). We did so. When we purchased the RV the dealer told us a repair warranty was not worth it for our rig because of age and the cost. The cost through Mike was about 1/3 of the dealer cost - and the age was not as big of an issue as the dealer indicated - although we were near the end of the opportunity for the warranty.
This year we are living in the rig for 3 months full time while our house is remodeled. The hydraulics went out again - not the same issue as last year. We took it to Mike. While staying overnight in his back lot so he could start early the next morning, the furnace system finally quit - it has been acting up ever since we got the rig. The water pump also died - I replaced it on our first trip last year - and this is only the second pump Mike has seen in 7 years that died during the pump guarantee. Mike and his team fixed the thermostat, the furnace PC board (which had died in the night) the hydraulics, and the water pump...all of which the warranty company covered - except for some minor details and my deductible. I walked out paying less than $200 for a $1400 bill.
Mike is honest - which if you follow the RV forums you will see is not always the case. He also knows well what can go wrong on an RV, he knows the costs, and he works hard to ensure the customer gets the best deal and a permanent fix. If you don't have a repair warranty, talk to Mike to see if your rig is new enough to purchase one.
With all the hype about the China Flu - which is about 1/100th or less of the impact of the H1N1 Pandemic of 10 years ago - during the regular flu season when typically millions get the newest flu bug...Mike is open and still fixing rigs. If you are in the area and need a repair, give him a call and take your rig to him. read more
