Would not agree to it even after I had documentation. Also, they were not on time, and did not notify any arrival time windows. They had no business cards, and no invoice of the price details. Even their discount price was very high. I contacted another plumbing service, and they immediately came out. Their price for the same work was half of Sewer & Drain Champion. Sewer and Drain Champion has no credibility and is poorly managed. Do not use them! Dillon the Owner promptly responded. He said they have no recollection of my dealings with them. That is not true! One of the technicians I dealt with was Bill. He was cordial, etc. and worked to get the price of the sump pump installation down to $2500. from $2800. An employee named Chase texted me and said they couldn't offer the lower price. The other company I am now hiring can do the exact same work for $1400. So don't tell me it can't be any lower. Also, an employee named Matt was supposed to install the new sump pump and never communicated to me any arrival time. Here's a picture of the company's van parked in front of my residence last week. They were here and I did interact with them. I recommend any future customers use Sewer and Drain Champion use at your own risk. I hope you have a better experience than I did. Crickets! Your company was here. I have no further comments or wish no further interaction with you or your company. I will definitely never recommend anyone to use your plumbing services. There are many more professional and credible companies out there with better competitive pricing.

This is the rare instance where the star-rating depends on my viewpoint…read more First, I want to acknowledge that Ace Plumbing was one of the few companies that I contacted that was willing to take on the job. I had a landscape pipe that was no longer draining our water feature. Most companies will not touch landscape piping because the pipe that is often used may be easily damaged by a power-driven drain auger. Second, the customer service representative that I reached by telephone was both courteous and professional. She scheduled a same-day appointment with a 2-hour window and she told me the plumber would contact me when he was on the way--which he did. Josh arrived with an assistant. When I explained the problem and showed him the two blocked water feature drains, he told me that assuming he could open the drain the cost would be $300. And that is all he told me. I agreed to the price even though it seemed high. I had already rented an electric augur from Home Depot and I had failed to clear the pipe so I didn't have many options. Josh got right to work. Between his electric drain augur and a high-pressure water-powered drain cleaner, Josh succeeded in opening the main landscape line--sort of. But he was unable to clear the water feature pipes. However, by using pressurized water, he discovered what appeared to be a broken line as the water bubbled up under a hydrangea. So the repair of the pipe was on me. What about the other water feature drain? Josh could not clear that pipe or determine if there was a leak. He admitted that he did not know what the problem was partly because he did not know (and neither did I) how the drain system had been laid out. Josh offered me a 10% discount for failing to clear the one pipe. However, shortly after Josh left, I noticed that when I put a hose in the main landscape line, the water backed up. The line had not been fully cleared. I immediately called the office in the hope of contacting Josh before he got too far down the road. Again, the office person was extremely professional. She put me on a brief hold and came back on the line to tell me that Josh would be calling me soon. In less than a minute, my phone was ringing. Josh insisted that the main line had been cleared, but that I could not really expect the water to run out as quickly as it might have done when the pipe was first installed. And here is where ACE Plumbing drops two stars. Josh *then* informed me that ACE Plumbing does not guarantee any work done on drain lines. He did not inform me of this fact before the job, but only after I called to express my concern. He told me he could return the next day to again work on the line, but that he would have to charge me. I was not inclined to add to an almost $300 price tag for work that ACE Plumbing would not stand behind. Nevertheless, Josh had showed me how it was done. So I purchased the Drain King and cleared the main line myself. I dug up the broken pipe only to find that the pipe was not broken. The pipe terminated in the dirt rather than in a French drain. I dug up the other pipe and discovered the same problem. So despite the cost and the after-the-fact claim that ACE Plumbing does not guarantee any work done on a drain pipe, I have added back a star because Josh did show me the way to resolve the problem even if he never intended to do so.

I figured okay whatever and set an appointment. The tech arrived and took a picture of my drain clean out then went to work on his tablet. After about 5 minutes he showed me 3 quotes The first was for $2,000+ and that was to have the plumbing that he Hadn't even inspected replace, the second was for the service I asked for + run a camera down the line, the 3rd quote was for what I asked them to do in the first place and that was almost $400. I am not paying $400 for 15 minutes of semi-skilled labor, no way. When I refused services the guy told me there was a $39 charge for coming out. Because I never agreed to pay anything and they never mentioned any charge (I would have told them no thanks), I told him to leave and that I would not be paying. We called a local non-corporate plumber, described our problem and what service we wanted they said they would send someone and it would be $200. They came out a couple hours later and it took them less than 10 minutes from start to finish. I 100% do NOT recommend Roto-Rooter.

One of the repairs involved our main line and required excavating part of our beautiful new front yard, so it was an incredibly stressful situation for us as new homeowners. From our very first interaction with A1 Plumbing, we were met with professionalism, compassion, and genuine courtesy. Communication and clarity are extremely important to me, especially since I am not particularly knowledgeable when it comes to plumbing. The team took the time to clearly explain the issues, walk us through our options, and help us find solutions that worked for our specific situation. At no point did I feel pressured, taken advantage of, or like we were being sold something we did not need (You know how some companies can be). They were honest and upfront throughout the entire process, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Once we gave them the go-ahead, they moved quickly and efficiently. Even with such an invasive project, they were incredibly respectful of our home, property, and personal space. Ray, Eric, and Jeff were all exceptionally kind and somehow managed to make a very stressful situation feel like a walk in the park. I truly cannot recommend them enough. When we inevitably run into another plumbing issue in the future, I feel comforted knowing that we already know exactly who to call and that we will be well taken care of.
