TLDR: Very highly recommended. Earlier this week, I searched Yelp for junk removal quotes. The floors in my apartment were being replaced, and I had some trashy old furniture that I didn't want anywhere near the new floors. When you search Yelp for something like junk removal, there is a box you can check for Yelp to email a bunch of businesses at once on your behalf. So, within hours, I had messages from several different companies. Junk Ousters was one of the first ones to message me, but I ended up replying to someone else who had originally given me a cheaper quote. The guy that I called first ended up trying to low-ball me. When he texted me this morning, his price had more than doubled. He's lucky I'm not writing him a review (since I didn't technically patronize his business). Irritated, I messaged Junk Ousters, asking them to call me if *and only if* they were still available for the price that they had quoted me a few days ago. Within minutes, I got a phone call. The young man said that he was in the area, and asked if the furniture was easy to access. I said, "It's actually on my patio right now, because my floors are being replaced." Within 45 minutes, I saw him driving up. I tried to help him get the stuff downstairs, but, honestly, I wasn't much help. He was really nice, anyway. He seemed determined to get the job done, and he did. After his first quote, he had actually sent me an even lower quote. I hadn't noticed until this morning, but his price was even lower than the guy who had tried to low-ball me. Because he was honest (i.e. didn't try to low-ball me), and because he put so much physical labor into getting the couch down the stairs, I ended up tipping him up to the amount of his first quote. He got a really big smile, and he said thank you, and I said thank you, too. Overall, I could not be more satisfied, and would definitely call Junk Ousters again. read more

Hot dang the response time to be honest puts my response time to shame haha But anyway, I had to get an old grill and sectional couch removed real soon since I'm moving and I had set outside the couch overnight for anyone to take for free (surprise surprise... No one took it). I wanted to get rid of this really quick so I won't have to worry about it anymore. About 20 seconds after I requested a quote, I got a response and a really cheap quote! I was able to get my junk removed the same night I requested his services. The guy that showed up showed up alone, and thoroughly impressed me with how he moved things without any help. He also expressed his concern about the propane tank since that's considered a hazardous chemical when he arrived on site and he appropriately appraised an extra cost since it would cost extra to dispose it. He quickly responded with a quote based on photos I sent and we set up a time. As I found old fencing, wood and a ramp, I contacted him again and he quickly agreed to pickup the additional junk.
