It had all of the features I needed to be location independent and fully remote with my work. I was initially happy. However, as soon as the purchase was complete, there were issues that included extensive poor quality craftsmanship by Keystone and multiple, high-tech component failures that have resulted in it being in shop for almost 6 of the 18 months I have owned it.

Structural Failure and Poor Customer Service - 2020 Voltage Toy Hauler…read moreI own a 2020 Voltage toy hauler (Dutchmen/Keystone) and have experienced widespread exterior wall delamination, with multiple large sections of side panels separating from the underlying structure. Key points: The RV has been stored indoors and properly maintained. There are no signs of water intrusion, leaks, or external damage. This appears to be a premature structural failure due to adhesive/material defect, not normal wear and tear. I contacted Keystone RV / Dutchmen multiple times and was denied assistance solely because the warranty has expired, with no meaningful review of the defect. I also filed a BBB complaint, yet the issue remains unresolved.

This review is directed to the Aerolite travel trailer manufactured by Dutchmen…read more I bought my trailer in July of 2011. I have had it about 3 years now. After 1 year and 1 week, a wheel bearing burned up. I was lucky to get to my destination at a campground. Cost to repair, just under $500. However Lipert did honor their warranty and paid the cost of repairs. Burned up wheel bearing #2 was on a trip to Mt Rushmore S Dakota. Cost to repair, $1054 towing and $1050 in repairs. Including a new temporary axle to get me back to Calif. What I think should have happened here is Dutchmen should have used a 3500 lb axle instead of the 3000 lb axles they used. Along with 15" Wheels. 200 lbs added weight would not make that much difference. Had to buy new axle when I got home from S Dakota. Cost, $465 Bottom line, 6000 lb axles to carry a trailer with a gvw of 6600 lbs. Doesn't make sense to me. Trailer was not overloaded. Wt: 5860 Item #2. Shoddy workmanship. The plumbing for the bath tub was incorrectly installed. The pipes were glued at an angle The technition that made the repairs said it was not a matter of if the tub was going to break but when. And it did. Cost to repair, $600. I WOULD NOT recommend buying this trailer.

Camping World of Katy, Texas has done a poor job of solving the issues. Due to the constant water leaks when it rains, we now have termites, mold, and mildew. I am highly allergic to mold and mildew. I cannot stay in our r.v. I get nose bleeds and allergic reactions that lead to infections. We have left nessages with Dutchmen, but calls do not get returned. On top of our 90,000 cost, we had to purchase an F350 to pull our RV. We are looking into other measures to resolve our major issues with Dutchmen and Camping World. Camping World. We have pictures of the mildew and termites.
