Structural Failure and Poor Customer Service - 2020 Voltage Toy Hauler I own a 2020 Voltage toy hauler (Dutchmen/Keystone) and have experienced widespread exterior wall delamination, with multiple large sections of side panels separating from the underlying structure. Key points: The RV has been stored indoors and properly maintained. There are no signs of water intrusion, leaks, or external damage. This appears to be a premature structural failure due to adhesive/material defect, not normal wear and tear. I contacted Keystone RV / Dutchmen multiple times and was denied assistance solely because the warranty has expired, with no meaningful review of the defect. I bought a brand new Keystone Hideout and only have had it for 4 months. The grey tank sensor does not work. It registers empty all the time and grey water starts to come up the shower drain. Battery will not run refrigerator for only 3 to 4 hours. Keystone will not honor warranty. Don't buy!! read more

The only thing I want to say about our Montana MK320 fifth wheel is that it is a poorly constructed product. Interior and exterior parts fail due to lack of quality control and total lack of workmanship. Unfortunately, this is the state of the RV industry as well as most consumer products in the USA. Keystone RV Company - Another example of poor workmanship. - RV Dealers Near Me - Goshen, Indiana

We purchased a brand new Cougar 23MLS from Camping World in Draper, UT. On our virgin voyage the HVAC system did not work, the handles fell off the shower doors, the recliners broke, the shower wasn't properly sealed and leaked, an outlet didn't work, the screen door had a wide enough gap to allow large bugs to get in, the struts didn't work, the wheel cover on the driver side flapped in the wind. We took the RV in to Camping World for repairs October 6, 2021. We received a call late February saying repairs were made. The shower door handles were ready to fall off, the shower doors did not slide properly in the track, the electrical system for the HVAC and the outlet is still suspect, the wheel cover was not addressed at all, we don't know if the strut works or not since we weren't able to retract it. Additionally, while our RV was at Camping World, they ran into the awning arm making it unusable. Needless to say, the fifth wheel is still there. We have written both Keystone and Camping World and not heard back. read more

We've only been able to use our 2021 Keystone for one week so far due to the numerous problems we experienced on our one and only trip in September. We bought this $100,000.00 paperweight in June and are now two weeks late for a prepaid trip to Florida. Here are the issues we have. 1) heat wasn't traveling to back bedroom, fixed; now the furnace shuts off after 15 minutes; 2) the MB toilet doesn't flush/hold water; 3) the refrigerator door was dented, won't replace; 3) The auto leveler hydraulic jacks by the Equalizer System are not working properly; 4) The "quiet" AC system in the living area was noisy and sweated so badly we had to use towels to dry the ceiling. Makes me wonder what we're going to have problems with during our 6 mo. stay in Florida? if we ever get there! Our Alpine has now been in for repair since October 4th. Is the warranty department really backed up with work or do they try to stall until a customer finally quits trying to get reimbursed for poor manufacturer workmanship? I've been waiting for more than 1 month for the service department to "review" my claim. It's a one page estimate with approximately 10 pictures from a "non Keystone" dealership. Every time I call "customer service" the only thing they say is "it's in review with the service department and we'll call you if that changes". Don't waste your money!!!!! Worst customer service and crappy built! I had my brand new travel trailer 6 weeks and bathroom floor under toliet almost fell threw. Cabinets around bed pulling away from frame. Mind you I used it only once. I traveled 7 miles. I had to try to get a technician to come out to help with toliet issue and 3 private techs said they would not help me unless I paid up front, because even thou trailer was still under warranty. Was told Keystone never pays their bills.:/ After major problems with customer service Keystone then decided to pick my trailer up from SC and haul back to the factory in Indiana:/ ok great bought trailer 2019 July Keystone picked up first week of December 2019 yes it took that long for them to get, remember I only stayed in my trailer 6 weeks, from time of purchase. I got my trailer back in SC 4/15/2020. Damn joke! Mind you I was without my trailer for travel had to cancel my trips And still make payments on a trailer in Indiana for months. Oh and not to mention they could careless. Do not return phone calls always at lunch or on vacation. Never returned any calls in a timely manner. In 2015 we bought a New Ppassport unit. We used it 3 times in 2015 and 4 times in 2016 befor I lost a toe in accident. we didnot use it again until july os 2017. we found out the floor had a soft spot. we contacted the dealer to ge tit in to be inspected. After 3 mnths of sitting the dealer took pictures of the issue and filed for warranty consideration. We understand the warranty policy and had we done anything wrong I would have taken that as my loss. The pictures clearly show the refrigator vent out side of camper had no sealant thus allowing water it leak into the cabin and damage the floor. The pictures are clear evidenance of poor quality workmanship and should be considered. Not only would they not consider it, they wouldn't even return calls. Funny thing is my company services equipment in there location they expect me to cover under warranty after the warranty expired but they won't?? This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with! Tried to file a claim with them for a warranty part that needed to be fixed. The water heater was leaking on the trailer. Had a technician come out, only to find that the what was supposed to be a "new water heater on a new trailer", was actually one that had already been welded on and repaired! The tanked leaked from the once welded repair on an aluminum tank! Not a new tank anymore like it should have been. This was a brand new trailer off the lot! They proceeded to tell me, after the replacement they okayed, that they would not pay for it anymore! Now I was stuck with an almost $2,400 bill They finally did pay for it and the trailer was bought back by the sales place I bought it from to avoid lemon law. This is where it gets to the total BULLS$&T part of Keystone RV and their manipulative ways! They were trying to help place me in a new trailer that they knew for over 8 months couldn't be done but they dragged it out anyway! Finally paid me the money back but snuck in a W-9 that they played off as something to do with the new trailer and now I am stuck paying the taxes on the $2,400 they PAYED ME BACK FOR A REPAIR THEY SAID THEY WERE TAKING CARE OF!!!! We bought a Keystone Passport trailer in 2015. One year later when we started using it more often we had some electrical issues. We tried to contact the dealer we bought if from but our calls and emails were ignored. I then called Keystone themselves and explained the problem and was told to take it to a contracted service dept, which we did. We were then told it was definitely a manufacturer defect and the service dept did their best to have Keystone cover it. Keystone denied it. I wrote a post on FB and they were quick to contact me.. just to deny the claim again saying we waited to long. We actually started the process just over a year after we bought it but it took forever to get the correct resources and have them make contact with Keystone. (I actually contacted keystone about this much sooner than they will admit) Really, it shouldn't matter that it has been 1 1/2 - 2 years since we bought it... the FACT is Keystone made the mistake while making our trailer and we have had to pay $900 to fix THEIR mistake. They have absolutely NO customer service and clearly could care less if their customers are happy or not. Interestingly, their FB page was full of similar compaints a few weeks ago but when I checked today there were none. My wife and I wanted to upgrade to a new travel trailer . We didnt want to save money buying a used trailer a few years older because we did not want problems so we brought a 2017 new keystone passport. Lord what a night mare. Three weeks after we had the trailer we took a trip to Ark ,Im in ms so it was about 9 hr haul .Why we were there it came a rain storm water was running through the front where the roof and front meet soak the bed and front wall , used the shower and water was running under the shower and out all over the floor . On our way back home we left it with dealer we bought it at. They were all nice the day when we bought it but when we took it back to be repaired they were not so nice. They keep the trailer for 3 months for repairs and we were sill making a payment every month . Now 9 months later items keep braking, 5 inside lights has stop working ,steal leaking water in bath room, ac unit does not work like it should and you have to watch every thing you turn on or plug in ,cant heat with microwave and ac at same time it trip breakers .
