A friend of mine just used these guys to have an awning installed after it was ripped off during a storm. He said they were incredible people, very professional and reasonably priced. I said OK let me give them a try. So far they have been fantastic. The young lady in the office was very helpful with product choices and colors. These guys came out to replace my awning during Nascar. During the installation they dropped one of the awning arms and it over extended and cracked the lower mounting bracket. One of the awning lift handles was broken. On the right-side end cap at the end of tube was not installed correctly. They told me they didn't have the parts with them so they would come back the following day but never did. I called and asked they can meet me off I-10 with the extra parts and I would replace them myself but they never responded. Then a year later I called and asked if they were going to be back at Nascar so they could finish replacing the broken parts. Chester said he would be out to replace but never showed up. Worst Customer service ever!!! read more

DO NOT UNDER ANY CURCUMSTANCE TRUST YOUR RV OR GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS "COMPANY". They nearly ruined my RV by drilling 20 HOLES to install an awning when they should have drilled 12. The installers tried to hide their mistakes from me and their fixes had to be re-fixed by another member of the staff. I only found the additional mis-drilled holes when a REAL RV tech came to fix this fubar in Austin. A screw holding the bottom left leg came loose after only the second time I deployed the awning. He was astounded at the unbelievably poor workmanship and wrote up and took pictures of the mess for me to submit in court. Absolutely no help from owner CHESTER who offered me $50 to "fix" the issue by "Please identify someone, if not the mechanic, then a handy gentleman in your RV park who you find has a drill or wrench in his hand. That is really the best bet for you to get this resolved and make a new friend." This was his idea of honoring their warranty (install was in June 2023). This person - I cannot call him a man because he is totally lacking in honor - is a horrible human being and an even worse business person, unless you are okay with a shyster, once he has your money in hand. BE SMART, move on down the list. Pay a little more if necessary so you don't ruin your investment as I did by trusting this outfit. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. My documentation is impeccable and I will be seeing them in court in AZ when I return. If I could give zero stars, I certainly would. Caveat emptor. read more

We had a warranty replacement done by them in July 2023. In March 2024, we were on a trip, and we put the awning out. We brought it back in due to wind, and when we tried to put it back out, it would not go. I contacted them when we got home, and they said they would send someone out. They never showed up, and now, when I call, I get sent to voicemail. read more

I had called this company and explained what was needed and they told me that they would be out the next day to repair the arms on my RV awning. I had not heard from them and called them about 6:00 pm and was told by the woman that answered that she would call me in the morning and that never happened. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! We needed a new awning since we missed pulling our awning in and hit a tree. We met with Chester on August 28th, he stated he could get our awning fixed and ready for the upcoming holiday. We stated that was not a huge deal. He stated he could do different upgrades for no out of pocket cost other than the deductible, sounded sketchy but thought we will see what the quote is. Received a call on Sept 4th, the upgraded fabric, the only awning fabric he showed us was not available for our awning since it was 23 feet, I said no problem to please replace arms and awning back to factory delivered, plus the Bluetooth option. Fast forward to Sept 14, we received a call the awning would be done, but there was an issue with the back window that WE must have done. The window was in perfect working condition when we left it at his lot. I show up saw the window was extremely upset since this was not how we left it. I then ask the installer if the arms are new since i could see a scratch on the arms. The installer looked at me confused and stated they were original but the awning was new. The awning was horrendous, single sided and the ugliest pattern I had ever seen, plus a scalloped valance. Our camper is NEW, therefore we wanted the straight valance with similar awning fabric. I asked the owner Chester why the arms were not replaced, he lied to my face and stated they had been replaced. He only agreed to replace them AFTER I DEMANDED to see the original arms. I also mentioned the awning was not what we wanted, he stated they were going to have to reorder it since it was not cut correctly. He also stated the bluetooth was working but could get it functioning on his phone. I then stated the window was NOT bent when we dropped it off that they must have done that when they took the roller assembly out of the back window. He stated we should go to Jayco and claim a warranty issue, I refused and stated they need to fix it or replace it, PERIOD. Chester finally agreed to fix or replace. Fast forward to November 27th. The good, the window was finally replaced with a new window. Now to the bad, the team started to install the awning. The awning was the same single sided awful fabric with the SCALLOPED valance. I refused the awning and requested the old fabric be put back on so we could get a match with another company. I also asked about the Bluetooth, the installed was extremely frustrated with Chester since he had told Chester that the Bluetooth was NOT compatible with our arms/unit but Chester was going to charge us for a nonfunctioning bluetooth device. The installed reluctantly handed us the invoice that was clearly overcharged and incorrect. He was trying to charge us for the Roller assembly which was still the original and blue tooth which did not work. I called immediately and talked to Shannon, she was extremely apologetic and said she would ensure we did NOT get overcharged for items we did not receive. Within a week, Chester sent an email surprised we did not pay for the invoice and stated we needed to pay for the window and awning fabric. I told him what we would pay and not a penny more. I called our insurance to express our displeasure and found another company that will replace our awning fabric, where we were able to pick out the fabric and valance. STAY CLEAR OF CHESTER and this joke of a company! read more

Chester was very prompt when giving quote. The Sunbrella fabric was just what we wanted for our new awning. We scheduled install two weeks out to accommodate our schedule. Chester called the morning of install said guys would be here between 11-1. They showed up 3:30. They did an awesome job on install and our new awning looks amazing. However surprise when it came time to pay that they only take check or cash. 3 stars for the install guys and the great look of new awning deducted 2 stars for Chester not being proactive to tell us the actual schedule or keep us updated throughout day if something came up. Chester has saved our Travel Trailer two times. Both times he had to install a beautiful new awning . First time we replaced an old awning. Three years later a crazy strong dust devil destroyed every bit of our awning, aluminum parts included. He spent most the day here and he came all the way from the Valley to Prescott. RV Awning Co. of AZ did a great job at the end of January, 2019 and the 4 custom fit awnings added to our motorhome continue to look and work great. Placing an awning on the driver's side window was a challenge due to the A-pillar angle, but RV Awning got it done. The black, SunBrella Acrylic fabric is truly weather resistant and still looks like new 15 months later. The awning rolls up and down beautifully. This year I asked for service because the awning over our small, galley window seemed oversize and blocked too much of the view out that window. The issue was resolved exactly to our satisfaction with no quibbling the next day and actually within a couple of hours and at no charge! They know how to treat their customers right! I called searching a new awning for my trailer! didn't know I was immediately putting in a order! just getting ideas and quotes! my first time doing this! owner gave me a color option so I looked into it! no I didnt have alot of money! well I called a few times asking questions! told I needed to speak to secretary to confirm everything and she would call! I waited so I started giving up! calling others! they called left a message I didn't respond back! then when she called again I answered they said sumone was on way out! I didn't give any permission! they sent 1 employee out on 12/02/20 to do a 2 person job he was struggling! wasn't even equipped! awning was to short and I didn't like color! so employee went back to shop, shop truck broke down! I called with exact measurements and color scheme! they showed up next day 12/03/20 put up wrong color scheme already installed! secretary lady had bad attitude toward me when I assessed the product! I couldn't even inspect my awning! she demanded money so we agreed on price! of course employee was on her side because she is his bread and butter! and owner hung up on me when I called to make sure 2 people were doing job and wont answer phone! I'm unsatisfied, unhappy, didn't expect to be treated like this as a customer! Called RV Awning company at first it seemed like a great place. They were going to get my RV slide awnings done in a day. Then it went south. They promised to be out the next day. I called several times and got the run around and they never showed. I called again the next day and the gentleman I spoke to had no clue what was going on and could not tell me if they were going to show up. I don't know what quality of work they do but I can tell you they have TERRIBLE customer service. Take your business somewhere else. read more

Called Chester to replace and upgrade my manual awning to an electric model. $1488.00 I said he would call before the install but just showed up. The man he brought to help didn't know anything, said it was his first day, on-the-job training. After he took my old awning off and started putting up the new one. He told me I needed to buy a new Roller tube $445.00 because mine wasn't aluminon. He should have known by the year and make what type of roller tube I had. Maybe an honest mistake. Not once did Chester use a tape measure to make sure the new arms were in the right place. Then he ran the wires on the outside of my trailer. He goes inside to drill a hole to run the wires in. He drilled through my rubber roof. Then said silicon will fix that. So I have wires I can see on the outside and the inside. It got late so Chester left. The next day another installer came to finish the job. It was then that I found out the wires should have been run from the arms inside the wall down and through the belly of the trailer, then back up the wall to the switch. (no wires to see) The arms also had to be taken down and reinstalled (more holes in the side of the trailer. This installer knew what he was doing. Finally, the arms should have plugs but in to cover the holes from mounting. I called Chester after 3 months asking when the plugs would be installed. Chester said he would be here in 1or 2 days. That was over a week ago. read more

Don't waste your money on this $488 awning it is a two piece awning thin materials and has problems when you rolling it up . Will not roll straight and you will have to roll and in roll to get the awning to be secure to the trailer. If you call for service you will get the runaround. read more

Paid $2,200 to have my RV roof redone and a new awning put on. Roof is not sealed around a vent leaving a large gap where water could get in. Awning was torn where it connected to the roof. I called in regards to this and Chester requested a picture. I sent a picture to him, he came back to my house when I was not at home and patched the new awning. I let him know that after paying for a new awning I was not happy having it patched before it was even used. I have sent pictures of the roof and requested he come back and seal it, have not heard a word back from him. They indicate they guarantee their work, but I'm not seeing that. read more
