Another non existent RV Sold long ago as were the other 4 that I had inquired on prior until I got what they do, a trick to get you...
Rob T.

No that's not how it happened their was No courteous call from your sales office just the run around. You need to check the part where your recording states All call to be recorded or hang up, I never hung up and just got a run around. As soon as I said I got an email from someone at your company HE HUNG UP ON ME. Not to worry you will never have my business or anyone I speak to as your company is a sham, run around and most will benefit by reading this and going elsewhere. Al would not give me any name of any managers or the General Manager whom I might be able to work my complaint out, but he avoided it 3 separate times I called. Oh ya you might want to pull the and down in the RV I called about it's been online for near 3 months but ha ya right just went under contract... Bla Bla Bla...

Our beautiful RV!

We have been looking for a class B Roadtrek Sprinter for months. This consignment lot has the most inventory of used RV's we found and we searched nationwide. In fact we purchased our RV sight unseen from Ted. He is very professional and put our minds at ease regarding the excellence of this 2015. We are driving our beautiful, practically new RV Roadtrek home. A dream come true. Thank you Ted!

This is a shot of the slide out roof and caulking.

First of all our Salesman Ted Smith was very pleasant to work with, after that it goes down hill. We bought a 2105 Puma, things to their credit, they found the galley tank was cracked and replaced it, they also replaced the AC cover although it wasn't the correct cover but some generic that seems to be a little to big so it works, I appreciate that, they did order the parts and got them and installed in the time frame they said. From here on it gets worse. On the inspection they give you a check list to mark off the things the tech goes over. We drove over 2 hours to get there expecting it all to be primed, the last thing we wanted to do was wait for them to fix things. So here is the list, the scare lights dont work, when the tech flipped the switch he looked out at the lights flipped them again said these are your outside lights. To his defense they may have worked although I did not see them come on but the 120 mile trip could have broken the filaments so that is not an issue, $1 in blubs and it was fixed. The interior skylights had the lexan piece removed, one of them on inspection the first day was off and just laying up inside he roof, the other it was already missing so instead of attempting to at least fix the one they just took the piece of lexan out. The inside was cleaned of the major messes left by the owners, I would have thought that would have been done before even showing the trailer but not so. The walk through was the standard customary deal, we have bought many rv's but let the guy do his job. The very first thing that we took notice of was the exterior of the trailer, it was filthy and I don't think they even washed it, all the caulked seams were dirty brown from the dirt, we thought ok must be impossible to get off, turns out that wasn't the case it just need to be scrubbed. I am pretty sure the brochure they gave us said the unit would be cleaned inside and out plus Buff wax Detail (see Pic). It was not, the carpet was never even swept or was swept poorly. The roof was dark brown from dirt, now they were up there replacing the AC cover so surely they noticed the roof was in sorry shape but not a drop of water had hit it. It's when we get it delivered it starts to get worse, first of all the battery was so dead it had 3 volts in it, worked fine at the dealership but it was plugged in and was powered by the inverter, we wondered why the jacks wouldn't work. Al had made a point of telling us that if it needed a battery they would replace it and only charge us their cost. Obviously that didn't happen. Next was a leaky shower valve that had leaked enough that it lifted the paper off the faux wood in the bath on the floor. They had thrown some caulking down apparently to try and fix where they thought it leaked, outside of the obvious water on the floor was that the access panel on the front of the shower had the bolts hanging out as if they forgot to screw them back in. The cover on the bottom was poorly put back on after replacing the bad galley tank. Are these major things you might ask, no they are not and I got them all fixed but considering they make a living off the consignment they made a lot of money for not a lot of effort. Granted they had some time involved in replacing the tank and maybe they allot only so much time for what they make if this is the case I understand but cleaning the outside should have been a major point for customer satisfaction. I will not suggest you not buy from them but pay close attention to what they say and do. One thing that seemed ironic was that the tires while being 6 years old had little to no wear so this probably set in a location and not moved around, the tires looked perfect with no weather cracks or other showing of degradation but the tech was adamant that we should replace the tires and if we chose to have it trailered 120 miles anything that happened was on us. While I appreciate his concern it was not expressed so much in his attention to what we already paid for. Again Ted Smith was very accommodating and responsive to our needs and we appreciate that.

Nice staff and not the typical salesman routine. Honest about cost, financing, etc. Just wish we could have found something with them.

Ive been a customer for what feels like about 6 years now. I mostly use their service department…read moreto care for my motorhome. Are they perfect? No. But take a drive up and down Main Street and find one that is. I used (and was abused by) no fewer than three service companies along Main Street before I found AZ RV Supercenter. One company (just to the east of them) repaired my generator to gas tank connection only to leave me stranded just hours later leaking gas in a Costco parking lot. One charged me so much for minor repairs I had to take out a second mortgage on my home and get a part time job. Is it sometimes hard to get a hold of the service department? Yes. Are they always exactly on time to complete the work? No. But the mechanical world of RV's and coaches is as unpredictable as any industry and the more thorough they are, the more time it takes to handle concerns. The more time it takes to handle my concern, the more your concern is pushed out into the future and vice versa. Above all those things I want honesty and fair pricing. I get that with these guys. I've learned to give RV service people a wide berth. I give 7-10 days longer for repairs than what I think I should allot and I have never been disappointed. I don't drop off my rig the week leading up to a holiday and I don't make unrealistic demands. I want them to be thorough and if, as is often the case, they find something wrong that wasn't part of the original issue I want it addressed for safety and peace of mind. Anna Marie runs the service department. You will recognize her as the one who gets things done. Nobody busts their butt more than that woman and it would be wise if you brought her flowers and/or chocolates routinely because she is so valuable to the process. Once, while at NASCAR, we blew a water pump on day one and had no idea what to do, so I called Anna Marie. She just happened to have a mobile unit working NASCAR and (although they were booked) within an hour she had the guy installing a new one in my rig. I expected to pay standard NASCAR gouging fees for the new water pump and they charged me what they would have charged if I would have brought it in to the shop. How's that for service? I have yet to deal with anyone who provides more honest service with similar pricing and I've been to a large handful over the years. Thank you Anna Marie and crew!

Hello,,, I purchased not 1 but 2 ARE Cap…read moreShells from Toms Camper land approx 5 months apart and could not be happier. I was treated like gold from the moment I walked through the door. As a business owner I have noticed that the only time people complain is when they don't get their way. I have read all the bad reviews and can see that if these customers don't get the business to bend and comply to what they though they were buying instead of what is actually on the Invoice or Purchase order then they file bad reviews. This is SAD!!! As a General Contractor I have come to live by the one simple phrase that is 100% true. "Buyers are Liars" Consumers should really pay attention to what they buy and what they agree to. We are all bound by our Signed Agreements. I am 100% positive if Toms Camperland did not follow their agreements then they would be getting sued by Multiple buyers. Seems these complainers are NOT paying attention to their contracts. To leave a Bad review for NOT getting the price you demanded or the price offered by another seller is a JOKE. Example,,, Go to a GMC dealer and price a new truck. Then go to another GMC dealer. They don't have to offer you the same price just because another GMC dealer gave you a better price. EVERY BUSINESS has different cost to do Business, Profit & Overhead. Some dealers do not have as much overhead as others so they can discount their price more. Some dealers have more volume discounts versus others. These are things customers should pay attention to. Just because you don't get the price you want or feel you should does not justify a bad review. This is what is wrong with this world!!!! If you don't like the price then go somewhere else!! It is that simple. Toms Camperland was an Awesome experience for me. Sorry to see all the bad reviews because my experience was GREAT!!! I will always give Toms Camperland all my business!!!

First off, this site is now called Blue Compass RV in Surprise AZ…read more We bought a new Bush Whacker plus camper trailer. On our first trip one of the doors on the cabinet fell off, the air conditioning vent on the side of the camper blew off the side while driving, the table was so wobbly we couldn't sit anything on it, the bench seat moved with the camper and tore a section in the wall and the whole frame of the bench fell apart (never even sat in the seat). Took this camper in for repairs. It took over 3 months to get this completed. Kept getting that we were waiting on the Manufacture. After getting that excuse too many times, I asked for the number and called the manufacture myself. They informed me that the parts were not ordered until 3 months after we took our camper in. Per their records, the parts were shipped out 3 to 4 days after receiving the order. Then to make matters worse, they gave me the tracking numbers of the parts and come to find out, they were delivered over a week prior to my phone call to the manufacture to see what the holdup was. After calling back the dealer and telling them that the parts were delivered and who signed for them. They finally found them and blamed the UPS driver. We have had to cancel several camping trips due to the camper being in the shop for repairs. Now after getting our camper - the a/c is not working, will not blow cold air at all. The dealer told us that if the outside temperature gets above 90 degrees, that the a/c will stop working and just blow hot air. So here we are waiting and waiting again for repairs that take way too long to get fixed. Our last trip with the camper, the camper was in with service for at least 2 weeks. We had another camping trip planned (the 2nd one for 3 days). I called them on a Monday to tell them I would be picking up the camper on Friday. Friday came and I picked up the camper. Got it home, that evening went out to get it ready for the trip and what did I find - the a/c unit and whole section was still torn apart. Nothing was put back together at all. Called them on Saturday morning - told them I was bringing the camper back and I expected it to be put back together when I get there. We have only had the camper for 9 or 10 months and we have only used it 2 times since we have gotten the camper. It has been in the shop more time than we have had it. Also, no Blackstone grill hook up parts, so they had to order them so we could use the built-in grill. On our 2nd trip with it, which was only for 3 days, we had to fix a water leak in the outside sink. It kept leaking water into the bottom of the camper. We have had nothing but problems and poor service. Very disappointed and wishing we never bought this camper or at this dealer. Just a very poorly built camper and very poor service at this dealer.

Repairs delivered 2+ weeks late, and new problems created…read moreOur motorhome was returned more than two weeks past our original deadline after four delays forced us to reschedule our trip multiple times. Generator: Our first priority was a generator that kept stalling. We were told it needed a new control board and approved the repair. They installed a generic board but didn't calibrate the voltage for our unit, and the generator stopped staying running within a couple of hours. We paid another repair company $600 to diagnose and fix it. Refrigerator: We believe the over-voltage from the generator damaged the refrigerator's control and display boards, and it stopped working entirely. That cost us another $600 in parts and four hours of our own repair time. Shades: The day before the second priority repair was due to finish, we were told parts for the shade motors still had to be ordered, with a 7-10 day wait. We had approved that repair over a week earlier. The parts were then ordered from Amazon, causing another delay. Toilet: The third priority was a toilet that overflowed because the water never shut off. Again, the day before delivery we learned the parts hadn't been ordered. We had shut-off valves installed so we wouldn't have to reschedule our vacation again, which caused yet another delay. Door: When we asked about fixing the door so it would stay closed without the deadbolt, we were told we'd need an entirely new door. We bought the part directly from Tiffin for $45 and fixed it ourselves. Communication: We called on Friday afternoon, two days after pickup, to report the generator problem and could only leave a message. Almost two weeks later, we still haven't received a call back. Total out-of-pocket cost in addition to what we paid them: $1000.

My HUGEST apologies for not writing this review sooner! They definitely deserve it!…read more In a nut shell- HIGHLY RECOMMEND! That is for sales, service & repair shop! More details??? As others have stated, it is a family owned and run business. Somehow that makes a difference in the experience here. They truly are invested in your business. From the parents, to the (grown) children and to their spouses, all a JOY to deal with! Let's not forget the employee who did our walk through too. He had nothing but time and patience to answer all our newbie questions! (Sorry I forgot his name, Steve Tyler?) Last October we were down on Bell Road prospecting a new-used little SUV for the hopes of actually buying a little pull trailer in the future. In a year, we dreamed! Low and behold as we went to pick it up, upon doing a u-turn we seen Vans RV and there was a used A-frame right out front that looked perfect for what our eyes dreamed about while doing trailer research. We had to stop and have a look. Well I tell you, who knew within no time we would own that A-frame!!! Only sharing that to say... None of this purchase was planned and we had no idea about Van's or what to expect. Paul was the salesman and his wife Naomi did the paper work and such. What a sweet couple. Now we had a credit hiccup to work out, hence why the plan to search in a year... but they clearly have been doing this a long time and had connections with financing companies for perfect credit obviously, AND not so perfect as we were at that moment. Happily, it all worked out! This is a bit embarrassing to admit in a review but it has to be shared because Paul kept us calm and hopeful to go through the process of seeing who could help us! Happily we weren't as bad as we thought! Whew! I absolutely want to share that because this was not a huge sale being a used A-frame, but at EVERY step, the concern to make the sale was as if we were buying a 100G rig! We truly felt valued as a customer! As well they had a connection to a fella for a fair price to add the towing brake system to our vehicle. That was convenient. And this fella seemed to be as awesome as they are! Following the lead. Now, for the cherry on top..... Kevin in the service department!!!! Applause please! LOL Seriously though, this is what has made the biggest difference of all. Not only did they care when selling, the after purchase care has been just as personal and attentive. We had a blip over the battery and co2 alarm....this unit was used as mentioned.... some things cannot be foreseen. But Kevin took care of it all quickly, perfectly and fairly!!! Did I mention we were newbies???? Yep totally. Well, we are a bit handy and have been able to call for quick advice from Kevin. He has had much experience and expertise to share and guide us with! (We still love the particular solar suitcase recommendation) There is no push to get us in the bay. As a matter of fact he seems to recognize and suggest what could easily be done on our own (you know, such as just tightening things that could have shook loose, LOL, who knew?) THAT is integrity and is highly valued! Thanks again Kevin, your time to share has been truly appreciated and richly learned from to enhance our camping experiences. They are as close as you can come to a perfect company to buy from. Vans will be the first on my list if we upgrade. Got to admit the one flaw too, in all fairness. The business hours are tough to schedule around for working people. Thanks to you ALL for a great experience and after care too!
