Based on his assurances, I allowed my credit to be run. Ali then ran my credit through multiple banks, damaging my credit score in the process. Once it became clear that the deal wasn't happening, he completely disappeared. No follow-up. No explanation. No accountability. I was flat-out ghosted. Running someone's credit after giving them false confidence and then cutting off communication is irresponsible and unprofessional. If approval was unlikely, that should have been stated upfront instead of wasting my time and hurting my credit. Ali Altaee should be reprimanded for this behavior. This is not how a sales manager should treat customers, and it reflects poorly on Avondale Toyota as a whole. I strongly warn others to be extremely cautious before allowing their credit to be run here--especially if you're dealing with Ali

I was told I had to return to the store I bought it from to essentially get a refund. I was told I did not need to bring the physical battery to get the refund. 20 minutes later, I get to the original location and a much more helpful worker explains that I actually do need the physical battery, and I could just do the refund at the other store. So I call the store manager (from the first place) and you could tell he just had no idea what was going on. I returned to retrieve the battery and plead with the manager, explaining that I think I could do the return there. I was met with profane language, and left with an overall sense of discouragement that this issue would be solved.
