DANGER!! STAY AWAY!! I unfortunately paid them $7,400 to install solar on my Class B motorhome which is my primary residence. They put high voltage unprotected live wires through the sharp metal frame of the motorhome above my gas tank. Super dangerous!! See photo below! No fuses for the DC to DC charger or solar charger. Insufficient breakers No emergency shut off. Multiple equipment and parts shorted within 2 days of install including the Victron 2000va inverter. This happened as I was leaving to New York for a contracted nursing job. When I discussed this with them and asked for a partial or full refund, Eric the owner said I was being a "pain in their ass." But he eventually offered to remedy the situation by paying for repairs and the install of new parts. Eric said he wouldn't do a full refund but promised to give some financial reimbursement to me for the inconveniences. They referred me to a specialist 5 hours out of my way across the country That Specialist was astonished by the gross negligence of the original install. When he brought up his safety concerns to RV Master Techs attention they ridiculed him for being "unprofessional" for telling me the true extent of their dangerous install. It took 20 hours of work to fix the damages they did and re-install a working safe system. I ended up missing my first day of work because of it. Repairs costed $4800 and they are now refusing to pay the full bill. It has fallen on me to pay it. They also have never given me any financial reimbursement as promised. To add insult to injury, when rv master techs did the solar install, I had them repair my furnace at that time too. RV Master Techs, Glendale AZ Very disappointed in RV Master Techs Glendale. They seem very understaffed and we wasted a month and a half for them to adjust our slide-out and under insurance to repair small water leak damage to inside trim and slide out ceiling due to the slide-out misalignment. The owner and staff seem nice enough, however they are disorganized and have trouble scheduling work and delivering. Delay after delay, they did adjust the slide-out misalignment , but could not locate a replacement for the damaged wood trim, and their go-to woodworker either was not able to duplicate the water damaged piece, or the job was too small for them. I gave up on them, pulled my RV from service and had the water damage fixed in a week by another shop. They succeeded in losing my business and recommendation to others in looking for a responsive and expert RV shop. In previous years we've had work conducted by RV Master Techs in reasonable time even though their pricing was at a premium level, but we were satisfied. However this shop has apparently lost the majority of their technical staff and management drive. I would not be surprised if they lose or sell their business in short order. read more

I upgraded my house battery on my Class C motorhome and later found out that I needed to install a DC to DC charger to protect my alternator on my vehicle. ARV Master Techs got it done quick and the job was done correctly. I will use them in the future for a solar upgrade. read more

Recently purchased a Monaco from these guys, I have to say it was a pleasure doing business with them. From my first email they were very responsive always replied timely. I live in northern California so the deal required alot if phone calls, questions and emails. They were more then willing to answer all my questions. My sales girl went out and took additional pics and helped every way she could to make sure this was the coach that I wanted. I just want to thank them for all the effort. I have been looking for a used RV in the $20-30k, as a wedding present for my soon-to-be bride. Many of the dealerships pretty much dismissed me as a customer, cause I wasn't gonna spend big bucks for something huge. I talked to Mike at RV-MT, and he had a nice used coach, a Born Free. Even though it had higher miles, he assured me it had been well maintained. Upon arriving, Mike took lots of time with me, as I am a first time RV'er, and he told me that every employee at RV-MT were RV owners. Everyone there was very nice, and considerate, which is something I did not get from other dealerships. Mike was interested in how we would use the RV, and walked me through all of the questions a first-timer may not even have known to ask. He built the value of the coach, and pointed out why it was worth the money, more than others that I had looked at. We made a deal, and they will walk us through all of the features and sub-systems that it has. RV-MT was, by far, the most honest and straight-forward dealership to which I spoke. I am pleased to have purchased here, and although it is a bit out of my way, I will also come here for service. I heartily recommend doing business here. Its worth the drive and time to work with such wonderful people. ... On 6/1/20 I schedule an appointment to bring in my motor home in on the 11th. That's the earliest they were scheduling appointments. Silly me I thought they would start work on it on the 12th maybe the 13th. When I drop the unit off they ask when do I need it back. I tell the service writer I'd like it back on Friday the 19th she says no way with the amount of work I needed done they needed the unit longer. So I tell her I absolutely needed it by Friday the 26th, she agrees. On Friday the 19th I call to see what progress has been made, they hadn't even looked at it. 11:30 the morning of the 26th my phone rings, I see it's RV Master Tech, and I think good it's done. She tells me the tech has been working on it for an hour and a half and he needs more time. They didn't even start to look at it until the morning of the 26th. I told Clarissa to to put everything back I'm coming to pick it up, I had to be on the road on the 27th. Don't take your RV to these people, they can't be trusted and they use the same broken business model that other unscrupulous RV shops use. If they bring their RV in and drop it off, they won't won't pull it out until the work is finished. The service writer had her list of excuses well memorized whenever I talked to her. Absolutely horrible!!! Do not take your RV to this business! I brought my RV to this business because my coach batteries were not charging. I was told I needed to replace the batteries and fuses and so that work was done however I brought my RV home and discovered that the batteries were still not charging so I took my RV back and they said a ground wire was not hooked up, imagine if you were driving far away, out-of-state and discovered this serious electrical problem! Next I took my RV home and the microwave was not working so I brought the RV back again and was told the microwave would need to be replaced because they checked everything and said the unit was not turning on which they said would cost hundreds of dollars to repair. I was going to have the microwave removed because we thought it was shorted out due to the electrical work that was done however after I inspected the microwave myself I discovered it simply needs to be plugged in to the electrical wall outlet, and it worked fine after I plugging it back into the outlet. So to summarize this business did not hook up a ground cable and they did not plug back in the microwave power cable after work that was done, which is absolutely unacceptable. I would never go back to this business and neither should you!!! Also it's important to mention when we discuss my issues with the owner Eric, he treated us as if were trying to nickel and dime him, when actually this RV business was trying to get money for work that did NOT need to be done. read more

I was gifted an RV located in Lake Havasu, AZ. I had to get it to Texas so I picked it up and headed out. I was told it was ready to go but all hell broke lose and (long story later) I had it towed at 4am here on a Saturday morning. Promptly at 8am I spoke to them about my issues. They had to reinstall the drivetrain (from the tow) and diagnose and fix our problems. They don't really handle class A RVs but they took a chance. Two guys immediately went after it. Less than 2 hours later we were good to drive. But we continued to find problems and they continued to diagnose, and provide solutions. They stayed past closing time and got us on the road basically fully functional! We felt the prices were great! This place really went out of their way. It's rare to find customer service like this. Everyone in the office and shop really seemed to care and work hard for us. They were amazing. read more

I was referred to RV Master Techs by the owner of an RV Park in Gila Bend, AZ. He said they were fair and did good work. We had had problems with our awning collapsing. We drove our Motorhome up and they worked us into their schedule with ease. The repair completed, we went on our way south. Unfortunately the repair left something to be desired. I called Jason, the Service Manager and told him of the problem. He asked that when we returned to the area that I bring the rig in. I was two months or so later that I finally got back. Jason set me up to come in and get the problem rectified. The fixed the problem and also did a lube and oil change. As a bonus, they did other service for me gratis. I couldn't have asked for better, nor more efficient service. They are competent and trustworthy. I'd go back any day. read more

Jason and his team are fantastic! They installed our auxiliary braking system in our jeep and when we noticed it wasn't working Jason was quick to get it in for inspection. The issue ended up being a manufacturer's defect in the way the actuating cylinder was assembled. Unfortunately, the company had been acquired and the new company initially said they would not honor the defect. Jason went to bat for us and got them to agree to repair it for free. The only challenge with this was it would take three weeks to repair and we were leaving on a big RV trip in four days. Jason went above and beyond and offered to install a spare one he had and essentially give us a sort of "advance replacement" service. He had the new cylinder installed the next day and we cruised out to Huntington beach, Valencia, Las Vegas, and back to Phoenix without a single issue. I would highly recommend these guys; they are honest, knowledgeable, and customer service focused which is a rarity these days. read more

This review is more about the office staff, than about the installers, who were GREAT! They are the un-sung hero's. We set up our appointment a month in advance as we were traveling. We had settled with the insurance already, and needed to get the work done. They knew of the final date, yet from the get-go, Clarissa, stalled us and even took a few days off while we waited. We had to re-measure, take pictures, even after having left it at their facility for a whole day for their "awning-tech" to decide what we needed. This was especially frustrating, as she wouldn't call back when I would call for an update. She did this to us 5-times. If it wasn't for the fact that our "window was closing" when we had to depart, I would have s***-canned the whole job. What was worse, was the week before we left, after they ordered the wrong slide topper, it had to be re-ordered. The part came in, and was installed the day before we had to leave. Mind you, we made the appointment a month in advance, were parked in the area for 38 days, and this should have been done 2-3 weeks prior. My suggestion.......if it's going to take 2 weeks to get a part, tell the client 2 weeks. Do not, under any circumstances say "5-6 days" and then blame it on everyone else. That's bad customer service. This scenario completely stymied our plans for a side trip in our car. I would think long and hard about using this company, but do decide for yourself. Plan ahead, as we did, and hold their feet to the fire. If you have to, choose another firm. I expect a meaningless response, but it means nothing to me, as they were wrong and afraid to admit it. They were excellent! I had several problems including a slide that was not working, a radio that was locked, door trim that was coming off due to the cold and several small problems. They did a great job working with my insurance company to resolve the problems that could be covered and their costs were very reasonable for the non-covered problems. They office staff was pleasant and helpful and explained everything in detail. They even found a leak in the shower that I was not aware of which would eventually have caused major problems. Wow! Just wow! Having some work done today on my RV on things that RVMT had "repaired" previously. These guys "fixed" my tank valves and less than a year later, we were having problems again. My mobile tech had to replace today and was surprised to find that the wrong parts had been used. This has proven to be also true of the broken drain pipe in the shower. I guess they never truly fixed it and we had a hidden slow leak. They had also done warranty work on our fridge....twice. Guess what!? Never fixed it and found out that it was a faulty fan the whole time. RVMT cleaned up on the warranty money and now I am having to pay out of pocket to redo all the things they supposedly fixed. I took my RV into RV Master Techs (RVMT) into Goodyear to look at my Onan Microlite 4000 generator that was still in the RV bay. The problem that I was having is that it would turn over and fire but would not remain running immediately after the starter button was disengaged. They told me that they replaced the carburetor and that it was still doing the same thing and they wanted to take it to the local Onan place in town to have them troubleshoot it which I allowed. RVMT told me Onan stated that the Stator was bad and the cost would be $1800 to fix. I rejected that and had RVMT remove the generator from the bay so that I could put something else in there. They removed the new carburetor and gave me the generator back without the old carburetor reinstalled. I got the carb back in a box. My neighbor is an experienced mechanic offered to take a look at the generator. Before taking it apart, we immediately noticed that there was break in the armature as we could see that through the ventilation openings. We removed and dismantled the generator and discovered that there was damage in the unit and we found the foreign metal object that caused the damage. Here's the problem, before taking it to RVMT, the unit was free wheeling without hindrance that would have been noticeable with the extensive damage in the generator area, so that occurred AFTER I turned it over to them. I was charged $300 for them to effectively remove the unit with the carburetor removed and with a more severe problem than when it was given to them. read more

Jason, the service manager, was so good to me yesterday and got the job done quickly and effectively. Casper, the tech, had good customer service skills as well as knowledge of the repair job. I have been using RV Master Techs for the last three years on two different motorhomes -- a National Dolphin and Country Coach. Jason and Daniel have been incredible in diagnosing and repairing every single problem I've had with both coaches: electrical, refrigerator, slider, and battery. Jason was even able to find a lamp replacement for our front door handle. Nothing seems to stump them. In our Country Coach they have changed out our old window shades with new MCD dual shades. They are only one of two MCD dealers in Arizona, and for my money, they have earned this exclusivity. I have also bought their preventive maintenance program for my AC, furnace, and other appliances -- a very good value for all the work they do. I recommend making an appointment; I always do, and that way they finish the work in one day. read more

I scheduled a mobile detailing of my brand new 38 foot 5th wheel. I had read the reviews and expected great things from this company. I also expected a truck to show up like the picture on the web site, instead I got this old white van with a couple of gentlemen. They were nice enough, but from the start I felt like I got some contracted out crew and for them it was a rush job. In less than two hours they completely washed, waxed, to include the fiberglass roof a 38 foot monster 5th wheel. They missed lots of areas, left water spots, so you know that was never waxed, did not completely wipe/buff out areas and in general did a poor job on the waxing. I think they felt like they did not need to do much since it was brand new. Now let's talk pricing. The internet special was $299 for a wash and wax. The gentlemen honored that, but when I asked about doing the fiberglass roof, that was a $175 additional. I knew he was making up for the $299 special, but I was willing to give in to that if it was done right. It was not! When he was done so fast, I asked him if he did the roof and he said yes. I went up and checked it and again I could see dried areas of standing water so I know that was not touched and when I felt the roof, it was chalky. No buffing out up there. I asked him about it and he showed me the product he supposedly used for the roof, "rubber roof protectant", on a fiberglass roof! He said it would give me the same UV protection. You have got to be kidding. They took my $474 check and it was cashed probably on the way home. RV Master Techs may have an "A" team, but I can tell you that I got the crew that I am not sure I would even call the second string. Overall, I am totally dissatisfied with the entire job and will never use RV Master Techs again if this is their accepted level of quality.
