The first time I came I was assigned to Natalie & I've never looked back - though everyone here is wonderful I'm sure, Natalie is my go to girl now. Personalized facial with the highest quality natural products, the most relaxing time, and glowing skin afterward - what more could a girl want?

My time with Innovative started back in 2017 when I started the Ideal Protein program. I was teamed up with a kind, caring and knowledgeable consultant that guided me through 85 pounds of weight loss. I will forever be grateful for the day that I decided to attend a weigh loss information meeting as it has truly changed my life forever. (Stephanie K and Stephanie F I'm sending you both a big ol' shout out!) I did return 2 years later to lose a few pesky pounds that found their way back to me, and I was welcomed with open, non-judgmental arms. You will be hard pressed to find anyone on this team that lacks compassion, is negative, or is unwilling to listen to everything you have to say. If you are ready for a change... Take the leap! In 2019 I decided to step into the spa side of Innovative and start my tattoo removal process. I was nervous, worried about budget, and had quite a few questions. My consultation was WONDERFUL. I was given plenty of time, shown pictures of before/afters, discussed price in detail and I was given and honest estimate of the the outcome. I was not forced into purchasing any additional products or services, I was not promised ANYTHING (I have a firm believer in honesty being the best policy) and when I said that I wanted to wait to book my first appointment until I talked things over with my best friend, I was encouraged rather than judged. I am currently done with my second session and the results are proving that I made the right decision. (Madelyn is absolutely fantastic and so much fun to talk with during your appointment!) Innovative Aesthetics is a clean, quiet, professional establishment that works hard to ensure that everyone gets the best possible treatment. If you have a question, give them a call! You will never regret pampering yourself a little now and again!!

I'm a former stylist, with some barber training, which makes finding someone to cut my hair a challenge. Just as surgeons maybe shouldn't perform their own surgeries, I know when to let someone else cut my hair. 9am on a Thursday I walked in to Moods to a friendly sign asking me to put shoe coverings on (and mask up of course!). I liked this a lot. COVID has butchered the salon industry, so anything that a salon can do to up the sanitization game is huge. Moods Salon was spotless. Then I met Amber. Stylist roulette handed me a beautiful, friendly and enthusiastic ray of sunshine. (No really... you cannot ignore it.). From just a haircut perspective: once I stopped talking about "my hair" (we ALL do it..) she chimed in that she had originally attended barber school and was just shy of finishing when she transferred to cosmetology school to finish up. Oh Universe! Her skill showed this truth. I sit here writing this with the best grown out haircut I've ever had. Amber is going to be getting a call from me today, and I cannot express how good it feels to know I can count on another amazing haircut by an incredible woman.

I wasn't overly thrilled with the salon I'd been frequenting since I moved here so when my friend mentioned he'd had a good experience here at Moods, I figured I'd give them a try. I made an appointment a week in advance through their online booking, which was super helpful to view the stylist bios and pricing before committing plus it sent me a few timely reminders via text. I arrived roughly 15 minutes ahead of my appointment and scored a parking spot right out front. Sammy was with another client so I had a short wait while she finished up and reset her station. After a quick chat to establish a game plan, I was off to the wash and back in the chair for what felt like the quickest haircut of my life. I swear it was about 30 minutes from chat to checkout! I really appreciated that she styled my hair how I'd be styling it at home so I was able to get a good sense of the cut before I left the salon. Again with curly hair, this makes a world of difference! Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Moods. Whatever happened in previous Yelp reviews, that was nowhere to be found on my visit. The space was inviting and the staff seem to be very experienced. I also thought my haircut was very affordable compared to other salons I've been to. Glad I took my friend's advice and will definitely be paying it forward if anyone asks. I even booked my next appointment as I left (something I never do!)

The facial I received was excellent - my skin felt nourished and was glowing afterward. The esthetician (cannot remember her name) was very friendly and offered various products that would work well for my skin. My last two recent visits have been for laser hair reduction/removal - the tech Nicholette is friendly and knowledgeable! After 1 laser hair removal I had very minimal hair growth after 4 weeks. I just completed my 2nd therapy today. The laser Revive uses is quiet and quick - the whole process maybe takes 10 minutes (so much quicker than waxing!) the laser is painless and is said to cause slight soreness the next day, but I did not experience this. Very well tolerated and is a definite must for those of you who are tired of shaving and/or waxing/sugaring!
