Best sushi place for what we have had in the Jefferson County area. You will spend maybe $50-60 for 4 rolls $70 for appetizer and 4 rolls (plus or minus) can be a little pricey, but sushi usually is. Not really appealing from the outside but food makes up for it. It's nice to just come here, know it'll be good instead of driving to watertown and not know what you're really getting. I work at a sushi restaurant in DC that has a Michelin star so I'm pretty familiar with good sushi. I was a little nervous to try this place because if you don't live on the ocean I can imagine you are able to get good fish. Because I was a little scared I only got two things but they were very good for what I was expecting. I will definitely bring my husband back and dine in. The sushi was amazing, however our meals were not. Sushi does not fill up my husband so he got the general tso and the sauce was watered down. I also got the pad Thai which was also lacking flavor. It was pricey too, $40 for two meal and two rolls. I would go back for sushi I think it is more fresh then sushi express. read more

This is by far the best place I have been to eat since i have been in this community. I am fairly new to the area amd the food was amazing.

It was awful. 6 people. 2 people got sesame chicken and said it was just ok. Other 4 got hibachi. The steak wasn't even remotely chewable. If ordering wasn't such a challenge we would have said something but we were just happy to leave. No one speaks English so ordering isn't easy but complaining would have been a waste of time and energy. Don't know how places like this stay in business. I was so surprised by this place. The inside is so clean and well kept. Nice decorations, makes you feel very comfortable. The food is great. Best sushi I've had since I've been up here. I have tried this place before and it was horrible. We waited to be seated and we were only customers. They gave us lunch menu but charged us dinner prices. The rolls fell apart as soon as you grab it with chopsticks. The staff just stared at us. The food made us both sick to our stomachs. I wouldn't recommend. read more

I eat here at least once per visit to Watertown (3 to 4 times a year.) I always get it to go. The food is always tasty, and the portions generous. The service is quick too. They take credit cards but only Visa and probably MasterCard. No Discover and no AmEx (my cards of choice because of the reward points I have associated with them.). I ate here twice during our one-week stay at Ft. Drum area. It doesn't look too much from outside, and interior decoration is very modern and not typical of sushi joint. For lunch, I had a bowl of tempura udon. It wasn't too good--the broth was very weak and lacked flavor in my opinion. Second time was for dinner, I ate a roll of sushi (though I'm not a great fan of rolled sushi), it was very good. I guess I should've stuck to what the store name suggests. Quality is consistent and food is always freshly prepared. I love their sushi and several Asian cuisines - Mongolian chicken is my favorite. Both the fried and cheesy Gyoza are very good, too. Although they aren't the best sushi I had ( I'm from Las Vegas so I have high standards!) They are the best in town! Love the food except the price! (Reasonable price just little pricier than other cheap eatery) sashimi, my fav. are relatively fresh (except couple times out of 10+ visit wasn't the best) I love the huge sweet potato rolls! This place was good for its location. Love the look of the inside. I ordered 2 rolls which were great. I also ordered the pad thai chicken which was ok. I had better. Lastly, I ordered the Phoenix & Dragon entree. Now, that was ok, as well. That came with chicken amd shrimp. The chicken totally tasted like processed chicken. The shrimp was fine. I actually would have just preferred this dish with just shrimp. If I were to come here again I would definitely order more rolls. read more

Very good sushi, i have had the California roll, crawfish roll, Philadelphia roll, and the spring roll, and over all i think the food is pretty good. It doesn't taste fishy like other places that i have been to. They also have good customer service, me and a friend went there and ordered the wrong thing and didn't realize it til it was at the table, she then told them that it wasn't what she wanted, they then help her by giving her the thing she meant to order without charging her for the other. Stupid expensive, not great as carry out. The coconut soup is amazing. The pad Thai is nasty and tasted the exact same as the lo mein. Don't use the same sauce or seasoning for lo mein on pad Thai noodles, then it is still lo mein. read more

My husband and I have eaten here for the past two years and have enjoyed their food. However, our credit card number has been stolen twice since January and both times it has occurred only a couple of days after eating at this restaurant. I hate to point fingers but this particular credit card has only been used at this restaurant. We have another card that we use for everything else, but they do not accept it. Its more than a bit fishy and our credit card company is currently investigating, We will no longer be eating here, but I suggest anyone that does pay with cash only. read more

I really wanted sushi so we came here but I had low expectations because the parking lot is always empty. But do not let that deter you. It was very clean inside. The staff was friendly and quick.
