Disappointed with the service, soup is half way. 2nd time going here soondubo needs a lil flavoring.

We ordered soondubu and kimchee soup kinda disappointing soups is not full. She told me they serve like that i said this is not our first time here it was full before, then she offered to top it off, but i was already disappointed and lost my appetite. Soondubu needs flavoring.kimchee was okay but need to add more soup. She didn't even bring water when we asked anyways never comin back again.

I never expected to find an authentic Korean family restaurant next to corn fields, but I did, and it was delicious. Most of your favorite korean staples are here, kim bap, bulgogi, bibimbap, soon du bu. When in Watertown, this place is worth the 15 min drive if you want more than all the chain restaurants.

We live in Hawaii and love Korean food! We found this little gem down the street from fort drum, NY and would 100000% recommend! It's a small location, but we love the friendly staff and food! Get Kalbi, meat Jun or a pint of cucumber kimchee! It's definitely our GO-TO!

Very quiet around 4:00 when I went. AMAZING FOOD. I had the shin house ramen. It had meat, shrimp, veggies, and noodles. Perfect level of spicy. I am so happy

Surprised to find a Korean restaurant in the area. It's off the beaten path and not the easiest to find. Ordered the pork bulgogi (spicy) and bibimbap. I was surprised to see they had jajangmyun, a Chinese-Korean dish, on the menu too. While I've had better Korean food in Flushing or New Jersey, I thought the food here was pretty good and grateful to find this place. While they only had a few side dishes, they were all fresh. Service was very casual and the food came out quick.

This starts from the basic decor to the Korean lady traditionally running the kitchen. Menu prices were very reasonable, catering to the student demographic. Gam Ja Tang (pork bone soup) was a pleasant surprise, with large pieces of pork neck bone and fall-off-the-bone meat in the mildly spicy fresh kimchi broth. But the potato could've used more time to soak up the bold soup flavours. The colourful Bibimbap was served with a nice runny egg but the chopped vegetables caused stirred rice to be watery. That was atoned by a popping platter of Korean Seasoned Fried Chicken in sweet & spicy gochujang sauce. The boneless half portion was huge. Pieces were crunchy & saucy in one bite! This restaurant is a short drive up Princess St from downtown with city parking nearby. Both patio & indoor dining options were available. Service was smooth & easygoing. Glad to enjoy this spot for an authentic Korean meal among the few Asian food options in town.

This one was one of the most depressing experience I've had in my life. The kids were even sad First the grill. It's not the built into the table ones, so no air vents above to suck up the air. They bring the table side one to your table. Second, we had to complain twice about the weak flames/grill and that it was taking over 5 minutes to cook the paper thin beef slices. Kids were starving. Second, banchan. The side dishes. If you've been to any decent Korean restaurants, you know that the free side dishes are full of color and flavor. They only have us these sad dishes. The kimchi was fine, I just wanted some green onions, spinach, bean sprouts, something. Third... no steamed eggs! I don't think I've ever seen a Korean restaurant without Gyeran-jjim. That's one of our favorite side dishes, so that was disappointing. Fourth, garlic. We love getting thin slices of garlic to cook on the grill and eating it in our lettuce wrap. They claimed they didn't have any garlic. Odd. Location, off of the main road with plenty of parking. So that was good. The servers were kind, but had a tough time with the grill to work properly. We finally had one of the male servers to swap out the grill and the meat finally started sizzling. I think this place has great potential, but if it's a portable burner and barely any side dishes, I can easily do it at home. We love going out for kbbq for the full experience of endless banchan. Our search continues...

We got a variety of marinated beef, kalbi, and pork belly. No complaints it gets the job done. Also got an order of tteokbokki and korean pancake which were also just ok. Would've liked the tteokbokki to have some extras in there other than just the rice cake. Textbook 3 star it's just ok but a bit pricy.

During my brief time at Fort Drum I couldn't stand eating on post, so I sought out a healthy alternative. This location is conveniently located along a busy thoroughfare in a major commercial district. I walked in went straight to the counter as it wasn't busy. Think of a Chipoltle setup as far as the arrangement of the toppings, but with an emphasis on whole grains and vegetables. They offer a variety of creative bowls consisting of base options such as purple rice, quinoa, and rice noodles, with toppings that include chicken, tuna, and sweet potatoes. Additionally, they have broths, smoothies, and even tacos. Being at peace with my decision, I selected the Buddah Bowl, a delicious assortment of sweet potatoes, spinach, quinoa, black beans, red salsa, and chick peas! It was delicious, hearty, and filling and best of all - it was all for less than $10.

Having tried Podonamu and Gangnam Style, I was pretty intrigued as how this place would compare to the two staples in the area. Overall it's pretty decent I would say, along with the other two. It's takes on a bit more of a modern setting with ordering in the front and pickup via trays like you would at a food court. They have some seating but not too many so might be hard to sit down during busy times of the day. Their menu is pretty much what you'd expect from any Korean joint. A healthy selection of soups, noodles, and rice options. I opted for the gamjatang (pork bone soup) as I've had at both Podo and Gangnam. As a new restaurant, I give it some leeway in saying that it's alright but still needs some work. The soup flavour was there but it felt a little starchy? (not sure how to explain it but it just wasn't like what I was used to in texture) The pork itself was solid and portions were good too. Sides were served in small little bowls individually and were ok. I would definitely go back and try their other options to see how they stack up but in terms of pork bone soup I thought it was below average. Overall, a very welcome addition to Korean options in Kingston and I'm hoping they really take off!
