Chocolate Toffee Matzah w/pistachios, challah, potato knishes, Shaved fennel, radishes, strawberries, greens & pomegranate vinaigrette
    Jaime C.

Oh baby, these knishes are legit! Perfect crust to potato ratio. So worth the schlep from the westside. Made an online order to snag up some Passover goodies for my Bubbe, so grateful to Yelp for this delicious find! A breeze to order online, then pick up Ruthie's bagels from Rhubarb & Elliott's in the JCC lobby on Wyoming & Spain, or do curbside pick up. Challah bread. Matzah "crack." Spring fennell salad with strawberries and pomegranate dressing. So darn delish it'll have ya feelin' a little verklempt. You gotta be meshuggeneh not to order a baker's dozen of bagels *boiled to perfection* and a tub o' schmear, perhaps even some matzo ball soup! Not to mention they craft special menu items during the holidays....winning!

Hummus to go! Had to grab some for the week.

We've tried other bagels in ABQ but none compare to Ruthie's Bagels. I need to try a few other delicacies, Knishes perhaps?

Bagels were stale and way over priced! I would highly recommend finding an alternative vendor.

She's super nice and made the bagels with TLC but overall the bagels are ok. It's also a bit challenging to find the location.

$9 for a bagel with egg, bacon, cheese, way overkill on the eggs this bagel is way to big. Cut the portions and price I would be very happy

Looks like they make their own bagels. I didn't have one though. I had their special French toast with strawberries and whipped cream. Also had a London Fog with espresso and blackberry flavor. I know an odd mix of things but it was good. The service was outstanding and definitely a must try if you're in the area.

The place was well decorated, clean, and had a wide array of baked goods that looked delicious. There was a large dining area with soft jazz music playing, reminiscent of a bagel shop in NYC. Prompted by one of the other Yelp reviews, I ordered the breakfast sandwich (choice of bagel, eggs, cheese, and meat). I opted for turkey sausage on a red chile bagel. I also ordered an iced Americano since they didn't offer cold brew. The Americano was refreshingly strong and very tasty. The espresso didn't taste burnt or like the machine hadn't been cleaned in a while (you can tell). Sadly, the breakfast sandwich was underwhelming. There was a large quantity of eggs and not enough cheese, and the flavor of the red chile was overpowered by everything else. Next time, I'd like to try a toasted bagel with a cream cheese that accentuates the flavor of the bagel.

I tried the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich on a pumpernickel bagel. Bacon amazing. Tomato jam so good I went home to find a recipe to make it the next time I had a BLT. I also tried a Blue Corn bagel that was crusted in crunchy blue corn meal, the interior was soft and flavorful and the size was small, as a good bagel should be. I also took home a cheese and Calabrian chile bagel that was equally delicious. The other win for Sunday Babels is the vegan cashew spread, that according to my vegan daughter, is unmatched by any other restaurant. I'd have to agree with her and, so far, have been unable to recreate the delicious spread. If I'm in Albuquerque for the weekend, I'm waiting in line for a bagel.

So its a bit awkward because there is a sign asking you not to seat yourself until you've ordered your food. It can make you feel a little anxious because if its really busy, where are you going to sit. We saw people waiting around not knowing what to do. Let me start by saying our food took way too long to come out, I even saw someone walk out because they were waiting so long on their food. I saw someone waiting for their food who sat close to us, and it turned out to be a to-go and I was like darn, that felt like they waited 20+ mins. For what they have on their menu, I feel like they should be able churn out food orders pretty quick. A couple who ordered after us, got their full food order before we I got my French toast and everyone else at our table got their food. It felt like 10-15 min wait on my food after everyone at the table got theirs. There was also an issue with our order because we were waiting on a side, but then I guess it was never added to our order per our server. We sat in the front corner and you can see the whole cook area, this also means if ventilation isn't on point, your clothes will soak in that aroma, like my jacket did. Food itself was good, nothing bad about what we received, but the wait time on food was way too long. I was leaning a 3.5 star which would make it a 4 star review, but the hiccup with the order along with the wait time just killed my experience. Not going to lie, I went to Filiberto's afterwards because I was still hungry after eating my stuff French toast and half of my girlfriend bagel.
