Chocolate Toffee Matzah w/pistachios, challah, potato knishes, Shaved fennel, radishes, strawberries, greens & pomegranate vinaigrette - The image shows a table covered with a blue floral tablecloth, displaying a bowl of mixed salad with radishes, strawberries, and greens, along with two croissants, a plate of chocolate bark with nuts, and three plush carrot toys in pastel colors. A lit candle adds ambient lighting to the scene.

Oh baby, these knishes are legit! Perfect crust to potato ratio. So worth the schlep from the westside. Made an online order to snag up some Passover goodies for my Bubbe, so grateful to Yelp for this delicious find! A breeze to order online, then pick up Ruthie's bagels from Rhubarb & Elliott's in the JCC lobby on Wyoming & Spain, or do curbside pick up. Challah bread. Matzah "crack." Spring fennell salad with strawberries and pomegranate dressing. So darn delish it'll have ya feelin' a little verklempt. You gotta be meshuggeneh not to order a baker's dozen of bagels *boiled to perfection* and a tub o' schmear, perhaps even some matzo ball soup! Not to mention they craft special menu items during the holidays....winning!

Hummus to go! Had to grab some for the week. - A clear plastic container filled with hummus, labeled with Ruthie's Appetizings, is positioned on a wooden table. The container has a white label with blue and black text, and the hummus appears smooth with a light beige color. A partially visible sign with the words 'Please do' is seen in the background, and part of a person's leg and shoe are visible at the bottom of the image.

We've tried other bagels in ABQ but none compare to Ruthie's Bagels. I need to try a few other delicacies, Knishes perhaps?

Bagels were stale and way over priced! I would highly recommend finding an alternative vendor.

She's super nice and made the bagels with TLC but overall the bagels are ok. It's also a bit challenging to find the location.

We, like many others, ordered take out, but quite a few were dining in. The ordering was efficient, friendly, and 100% accurate even with 4 similar but different orders. We took two breakfast sandwiches: bacon, egg and cheese, one with cheddar cheese and green chile cheese bagel and one with pepper jack cheese and everything bagel. We loved both of them, and they are quite large. We were tempted to order the special on offer: Denver omelet on a bagel (peppers, onions, etc,), but that will be for next time. Everything is made to order and you can watch the large prep and cooking area while you wait. We also ordered two blueberry bagels, one with regular cream cheese and one with the special cream cheese which was lemon blueberry. Again, both very good, and the bagels were delicious. They also offer many different coffee drinks, and our cappuccino was tasty. Last, we took four bagels and some cream cheese to go. On this day vs yesterday,, order at two other coffee/bagel places, Horizon was 2-3 times faster. Horizon's service and wait time from order to delivery was less than ten minutes. We know this because we went to Horizon on Monday, but they are closed on Monday, so we had to resort to other places.

So its a bit awkward because there is a sign asking you not to seat yourself until you've ordered your food. It can make you feel a little anxious because if its really busy, where are you going to sit. We saw people waiting around not knowing what to do. Let me start by saying our food took way too long to come out, I even saw someone walk out because they were waiting so long on their food. I saw someone waiting for their food who sat close to us, and it turned out to be a to-go and I was like darn, that felt like they waited 20+ mins. For what they have on their menu, I feel like they should be able churn out food orders pretty quick. A couple who ordered after us, got their full food order before we I got my French toast and everyone else at our table got their food. It felt like 10-15 min wait on my food after everyone at the table got theirs. There was also an issue with our order because we were waiting on a side, but then I guess it was never added to our order per our server. We sat in the front corner and you can see the whole cook area, this also means if ventilation isn't on point, your clothes will soak in that aroma, like my jacket did. Food itself was good, nothing bad about what we received, but the wait time on food was way too long. I was leaning a 3.5 star which would make it a 4 star review, but the hiccup with the order along with the wait time just killed my experience. Not going to lie, I went to Filiberto's afterwards because I was still hungry after eating my stuff French toast and half of my girlfriend bagel.

Los Ranchos Bakery - The inside is very comfortable and functional. And it's always fun to see which pastries they have near the cash register.

Friendly service and faces always warm up a cold morning, and we definitely got that at Los Ranchos Bakery. The menu is simple and the baked goods look great! We ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and green chile cheddar bagel, a lavender latte, and a red chile mocha. A cherry tart and a cinnamon roll to go. The drinks were, unfortunately, missing a few ounces and flavor. The sandwiches were smaller than I expected. The bagel had a hint of heat and chile. It was perfectly toasted and held the egg and bacon quite well. The bacon was crispy and the egg was well done. It was filling in the end. The baked goods will have to wait until tonight but I've had their scones before and they were excellent! I'm betting on excellence on the tart and cinnamon roll. Overall, this is a nice local coffee shop that can be a great alternative to a chain coffee shop. The space is nice for some work or chatting with friends and family. Don't bet on the coffee, but definitely go for the baked goods!
