The staff is lovely. Thoughtful and considerate. I only met one person that seemed cold,aloof maybe. Dr Salm did a Mohs surgery on my forehead and did a wonderful job! The scar is barely noticeable. And he said I cud come in and get it lasered for free. But it's so faint it doesn't seem worth the trouble. In addition to his skill, he just seems like the nicest man. The staff that assisted him that day, I can't praise them enough for their genuine care.

Love to wait 30-40 minutes for a scheduled appointment; be treated with hostility and condescension…read moreby the attending nurse; lack of reasonable explanations when appropriate concerns are voiced; multiple infections on a simple surgical site - this is the place for you. Complications happen with medical procedures, what is unacceptable is a lack of professionalism, compassion and integrity when dealing with them. A simple basal cell carcinoma removal has resulted in a seven week nightmare: two infections (one staph), two sets of painful injections to reduce scar tissue, and sanding the incision site to fix what the two sessions of injections did not fix. Currently the surgical site is still not healed. Many of the problems could have been prevented if adequate post surgical care instructions had been given by nurse Lynne (my husband had accompanied me to each procedure hearing what was included and omitted) or if phone calls regarding the second infection were promptly returned. When the issues were calmly presented to Dr. Rowe, he questioned my GP's ability to diagnose an infection, and defended his nurse - all but implying we were lying. Finally, he spat out; "you can hate my guts but your outcome will probably be fine." I don't enter a medical office looking for companionship - I'm seeking a professional service delivered professionally. If you are looking for the same - take your business down the road - there is another skin cancer office there - I hear they are quite good.
