We were in Prescott for a soccer tourney that was healthy for the players. We searched for subs and found this place, the reword were good so we have it a try it was defiantly great food. We have been here several times over the two years we have lived in PV and had subs, pizza and wings. Everything we've had has always been fresh cooked to order and tasted great. We have driven past the restaurant for years and finally decided to give it a try. We ordered it for delivery. It was awful!!!! The cheesesteak sandwich was definitely reheated and extra cheese couldn't even be found! The french fries were cold and soggy. The entire order was stuffed in a small paper bag squishing it all. The dressing was stuffed in at the top of the bag so I dropped 2 of them, spilling them all over the floor. The woman that delivered it was very unpleasant even when I gave her a really nice tip. Rusty's kinda rocks my world. I didnt give them 5 the stars because I have to admit that they can be kinda slow and that their pizza is just okay... but... they are slow because they make the wings when you order them, so they are nice and hot and really delicious. and when it comes to friendly but non intrusive service, this group of (mostly) guys never disappoint. All of their subs are amazing, and though our bill ranges on the high side, that's because there are so many good things on the menu, we usually way over order and end up having lunch for the next day too. I know someone said they are never busy, but truth be told they do pick up a lot on the weekdays at lunchtime, so I usually call ahead to order. But the very best thing about rusty's? you know those days when wings sound really good, but you don't really feel like pizza and you dont want to go out? My wife and I never knew this place was there. We happened to see it while driving from an appointment and decided to try it. We LOVED it. Upon entering, the staff greeted us and let us know they would help us in a second. They were very busy and that was fine. We explained we had never been, and asked a bunch of questions on different items. The waitress answered everything and offered suggestions. We ended up with my wife getting the turkey and avocado croissant sandwich with fries, and I got the hot pastrami with onion rings. I also ordered a small pepperoni pizza. Yes, I am a hog, but mainly wanted to try their pizza. The sandwiches were wonderful! Just the right ratio of meat to toppings and the sauces were complimentary rather than drenched. The fries may be my new favorite. They are super skinny and had a perfect crisp outside with a soft inside. The onion rings were great. Real onion slices, not minced garbage. The batter was crunchy, but delicious and perfect. The pizza was also fantastic. It was greasy because it was pepperoni and tasted great. The crust had just the right amount of "toothiness", and the cheese tasted great with a good "pull" to it. Another plus for me was the fact they served Pepsi products. It was slightly warm outside and the temp inside was nice and cool. All in all a very nice lunch. Keep up the good work, we will definitely be back! read more

Wanted a quick bite to eat. Took a little longer then we expected but then again we ordered pizza. Clearly everyone that came in was there for the sandwiches. I'm giving 3 stars for the friendly service we received and the hot food. The young girls that were working were very nice! Another thing was that the food was hot. Great right?! However, the pizza was hot and greasy but it lacked flavor. Maybe a different dough or sauce that has more spices would be better. The wings were fine but I'm not a big fan of greased hot sauce but mostly grease.. Could use a little thickening up to actually coat the wing. It's also a little pricey considering it's not super fabulous food. Maybe I'll try the sandwiches next time. Lots of room for larger parties. I would have given this place 2 stars but like I said.. Since the customer service was good. It gets 3 stars. I would really like to see them improve the pizza and wings though. Could be a really good pizza place. read more

Don't let the "Old Rocker" looks of the guys at Rusty's fool you, these guys know how to make one hell of a sandwich! I don't eat out often but I was in town and had a craving for a good sandwich (a real sandwich, not some assembly line tasteless slop made by a 16 year old corporatized automaton) when I stumbled on Rusty's and decided to give them a try. All I can say is that I was very impressed and I will definitely be returning to Rusty's for another round. My sandwich was piled high with nothing but fresh, high quality ingredients and the flavors were rich and well balanced right down to the last bite. Good job guys, I'll definitely be back! read more
