The inside has the signature colored banners with wallpaper of beautiful flowers and portraits of Frida Kahlo all over. Ms. Elvia was an awesome waitress. She made sure everything was perfect. She was very attentive all while attending her other tables. We had the Nachos Mexicanos and the Frida's Guacamole. And when I say those 2 dishes was very flavorful. We usually leave with a togo box. But today we ate every bit of it. The nachos filled the plate and was loaded down. The guacamole hit every tastebud. With this one visit we are certain we will be back to try other menu items.

The green beans with onions might actually have been the best thing on the plate, or maybe I was just in the mood for sautéed green beans. For my appetizer, I picked esquite, which is basically Mexican street corn (elote) cut off the cob. It came "separated," meaning that they didn't mix it together; I got a HEAP of corn, some mayo, some crumbled cheese, and chili powder, and mixed it to my own favorite ratio. Probably some of the best mild salsa I've ever had. The spicy salsa was tasty as well, but just a little bit beyond my heat range. I was very happy with the start to the meal, but once the pork belly tacos came out, I was in heaven. These are the best tacos I've ever had, and I've eaten a lots of tacos, and the best pork belly I've ever had. It was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. Instead the manager sent the server back and instructed her to tell my gf that, "Next time, you should ask for remake." No courtesy extended to discount or remove the cost of the meal. It was further insulting because this has been a place she has frequented over the years and has ordered this dish numerous times. All she wanted, after an exhausting day, was a decent meal in familiar company. And the manager never personally acknowledged her. Will NEVER return!!!
