If I had known, I would have chosen differently. Instead, I left with a color I'm not happy with and a bill three times higher than expected. I also felt uncomfortable during the appointment because the stylist made negative comments about another client and her younger sisters. The owner who I have worked with several times in the past tried to charge me for a gel removal on my fingers and questioned me on it. My hands haven't been touched by a manicurist in years due to my job destroying them. I was shocked that she didn't believe me. She was so sweet to me in the past. I have been getting regular shellac manicures here which has saved my nails! They now grow and never break! Avalon uses CND nail products, which are great quality. I own several CND lotions and scrubs plus regular CND polish, which does not require a base coat. The gel though is not harsh on my nails and it is not terrible to get off. The prices are very reasonable too, and the atmosphere is nice. I am so glad I found Avalon, and it just happens to be very close to my neighborhood.
