Mike's wasn't the lowest bid, but it was the only one without contingencies, and the only one which stated up front that his crew would remove the old tile floor, repair any underlying issues with the subfloor, and level it before installing the new luxury vinyl planks. Plus we felt comfortable after meeting him about the plan and the quality of the materials/work. It took about two weeks after signing up to get the planks ordered/delivered, and then set a time to do the installation. A two-man crew showed up around 8:30 a.m., gave me some updates along the way to show what was happening (and ask some important questions I hadn't considered, like which way the new planks should run), and they finished installing the flooring and the quarterround by about 11:30 a.m. Everything looks great, and we are very happy.

Great serious company. I had them replace a carpet floor…read morewith vinyl planks on 8/21. The crew tore the carpet and installed the planks on top of the plywood floor. That crew wasn't the most knowledgeable or thorough. The floor looked great and I was very happy, but after 2 years the planks started to peal and break. This is what makes me give this company a 5 star review. I called them to inquire about fixing the floor under warranty even though at this point more than two years had passed. Bottom line is that they fixed everything at no cost to me. At first I thought they would only replace a few planks, but the guy they sent (Marcos) was super knowledgeable and thorough. He immediately assessed that there must be a problem with the sub floor. He took out the planks and showed me how the plywood was all but disintegrating at places. He made sure the job was done correctly this time, replacing the old (very thin) plywood with new 3/4 of an inch plywood. The floor feels now much more stable. He also told the company that we needed to replace all the planks. The company didn't bat an eye and approved the whole work. All at no cost to me. In my book that's A+ service. Everyone messes up, it's how you fix your mistakes that counts. The company stood up for their service and products. As a side note to Rick (the owner). You have a great employee in Marcos. I would have your other crew shadow him for a while or take some pointers from him.

We were unhappy with a number of things including but not limited to their contractor damaging the drywall to the point much wider baseboards had to be installed to cover the damage throughout the entire unit. One of our contractors pulled back the flooring and told us there was a vapor barrier but no sound barrier as required by our HOA, requested by us, and on our invoice, and then most annoying, this sound is throughout the condo and very loud even when walking in socks "quietly". We've been told by other contractors it was likely because the floors were not properly swept and prepped ahead of time. We have photos showing chunks of debris all around the cabinets that should have been swept up. We complained to About Floors n More and did not pay them the remainder. Their response was to file a lawsuit (we've already paid them close to 50%). We will let a judge decide if what is in this video as well as our extensive photos are acceptable or not but we wanted other consumers considering them to know that they believe this is acceptable and instead of working to remedy it, sued us to pay them for work we don't believe was done correctly nor fully.
