I saw a woman in Kohl's with the most gorgeous curly hair and I asked her if she was from Rockford, and if so where she had her hair done. That is how I found Studio Blu. Anna has been caring for my hair ever since and it has been a great experience. She never assumes anything - she listens to what I want/am experiencing, and tailors her services accordingly. I was concerned, moving from Chicago, that I wouldn't find someone who could help with hair like mine, but it has been a great experience.

She didn't greet us; she just told him to come on back. She didn't ask how we wanted his hair cut or styled, so I followed her back to tell her. She wasn't very responsive; rather she was very rushed and distracted and not friendly. When my son came out, his haircut was terribly uneven and not shaped well at all. We had been told that kids pay their age, but I left $18 poorer. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I probably won't return.

I looked up the definition of full highlights and that's exactly what it is! Oh I know the deal wasn't for an all over color, there is such a thing as a full highlight to highlight your whole head. I Paid an additional $30 for a darken root and I now have blonde highlights to the roots on the sides of my hair and a brown patch in the back with no blonde at all. To top it all off they do not offer to fix it they offer to give me 10% off to fix it. I do not recomend a place that will not fix their own mistake. Horrible business practice, I'm always a loyal customer and an excellent tipper. Oh and if you reply to this review as well you really shouldn't bring up budgets or what you think someone else can afford. That's unprofessional and extremely rude! I couldn't find a reply section on that last comment (on Google reviews) of the OWNER of this salon so I wanted to address it here.
