Not counting tip, the whole shebang was only $30!!!!!!! Also, she didn't hurt my head at all while washing/combing it; previously I'd kinda assumed that a teensy bit of soreness was to be expected getting your hair done. I went here before to another lady though I forget her name, and it was similar price range (I think $40?) and also good. If you've got long hair and like to keep it that way, and live in fear of stylists who'll chop off more than you asked, this place seems like a good choice. They're two for two on keeping my bra-strap length hair about that length. All the different stylists offer different services and charge different prices, so it might be a good idea to call in advance to find out what you're in for. I walked in both times I've gone. Overall prices seem very reasonable though! Right now I have ombre/balayage color that cost me over $300 on the west coast; In the town I was in, basic service of that kind generally starts at $150. I didn't get it here, but I asked my stylist how much that might cost at their place, and she said it started around $85! The salon itself has a nice-looking and comfortable environment for the price range. They sell cute little hair ornaments, and seem to feature a lot of Joico products. Overall, I feel like this place is a hidden gem here in Rockford if you're looking for a classic cut and great value.

I looked up the definition of full highlights and that's exactly what it is! Oh I know the deal wasn't for an all over color, there is such a thing as a full highlight to highlight your whole head. I Paid an additional $30 for a darken root and I now have blonde highlights to the roots on the sides of my hair and a brown patch in the back with no blonde at all. To top it all off they do not offer to fix it they offer to give me 10% off to fix it. I do not recomend a place that will not fix their own mistake. Horrible business practice, I'm always a loyal customer and an excellent tipper. Oh and if you reply to this review as well you really shouldn't bring up budgets or what you think someone else can afford. That's unprofessional and extremely rude! I couldn't find a reply section on that last comment (on Google reviews) of the OWNER of this salon so I wanted to address it here.
