Stylists are technically independent, so payment method options will vary by stylist Pros -Their staff all seem to be well trained and can do a lot of neat stuff with coloring and styling. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to color my hair in any interesting ways, but the work I've seen has been quality -Phoenix appears to keep a stable employee roster that will allow you to build long term rapport and expectations -The place is reasonably quiet and its fairly easy to get an appointment -A great option for kids as the stylists seem very comfortable working with them Cons -Phoenix may be a little hard to see from the road, especially travelling south from 251 -Professional stylists will always cost a little more, but it isn't excessive and the extra money is worth it. The staff really cares about satisfaction -Try not to be late. They do keep tighter schedules if you have a specific stylist and that can bump you. That is more my problem than the stylist's however. I went here before to another lady though I forget her name, and it was similar price range (I think $40?) and also good. If you've got long hair and like to keep it that way, and live in fear of stylists who'll chop off more than you asked, this place seems like a good choice. They're two for two on keeping my bra-strap length hair about that length. All the different stylists offer different services and charge different prices, so it might be a good idea to call in advance to find out what you're in for. I walked in both times I've gone. Overall prices seem very reasonable though! Right now I have ombre/balayage color that cost me over $300 on the west coast; In the town I was in, basic service of that kind generally starts at $150. I didn't get it here, but I asked my stylist how much that might cost at their place, and she said it started around $85! The salon itself has a nice-looking and comfortable environment for the price range. They sell cute little hair ornaments, and seem to feature a lot of Joico products. Overall, I feel like this place is a hidden gem here in Rockford if you're looking for a classic cut and great value.

I have lived in Chicago for most of those 10 years and there is no one that can color, cut, and blow out long hair better than her. I have been to numerous salons and blowout bars, and no one compares. The salon is beautiful, laid back, and everyone that works there is delightful. I would highly recommend this place. I have never left disappointed!
