We used the room upstairs to throw a surprise birthday party and it was great!! The food was absolutely delicious (seriously try the garbage bread and wings!!). The pricing was very reasonable and the owner was extremely friendly and flexible. She helped us figure the right amount of food and was very flexible with the drink options. The bar tab ended up lasting much longer than it would have anywhere else. We were able to arrive earlier in the day to decorate the upstairs room and get everything ready in advance. After the birthday party, we moved downstairs and enjoyed the band for the remainder of the evening. I would highly recommend them for dinner, music, or your next party!! read more

Me and my friend had gone here to use my Groupon for $15 off..we got there a little after 12 when they opened. We ended up being there an hour and a half. I ordered a chicken caesar which took the most amount of time..I didn't get it until a couple minutes after 1!!! The salad was just lettuce,tomato, croutons and grilled chicken. I'm not sure why that took 45-50 minutes. My friends order came with 2 grilled chicken patties and she still got hers before me..the waitress had said the cook "didn't see" my order. No one apologized to us and we had one refill on our drink and that was pretty much when we were both done eating. My friend said the pizza and wings are always very good so I'm not sure what happened. The restaurant wasn't packed we were pretty much the only ones in there besides a couple at the bar. read more

First time visiting. If you are looking for a fast meal in and out this is not the place for you. However, it is well worth the wait. Everything is made to order and that takes time. The food was excellent the smoked meats are out of this world. Great menu, enough to choose from to be able to make return visits without having the same dish. Tonight was Cuban sandwich with fries and macaroni salad, Pulled Pork sub with fries and Cole slaw and a 4 cut pizza with pepperoni and olives. Everything wAs great. We will definitely go back, next time it will be fall off the bone ribs. The only negative I have is that you can't add a tip to your credit card and it wasn't posted. Was there for a holiday after and the bar wasn't that busy previous to us (party of maybe 20) arriving. Service was HORRIBLE. Had to wait for more than 25 minutes for a drink. People arrived after us and were served before us. Bartender was RUDE. Heard the food was good there too. I will never know. Won't be going back that's for sure!! The need a better bartender. Came here to get some food on 5/8 - they were charging $10 covers for what appeared to be a band or keroke. I literally just wanted to order some food to go, then head home after a dreadful day. The guy up front says "The only way you are getting food is if you pay the $10 cover." So, seeing as I had a ~$25 food order - I wasn't about to add $10 just to come in then leave with my food. I didn't come all this way for some of my favorite food to be turned away. Never coming here again. The guy working the door was very rude. Sure, if I was here to have a few drinks, that would be fine, I'd gladly eat the $10 door cover - but given the size of my food order, the dreadful day I had at work, and the reprehensible attitude of the guy working the door - I can say with a high degree of confidence that I will never be coming here again. I prefer establishments that have a little flexibility with their customers. I'm not asking for much - I just wanted to get an order of wings and some other assorted items to eat back at home. I wish I had read the reviews here first before I wasted my time going there. First off we went there and there was 1 table with 2 people and another table with 4 people. I said this will be quick. Wrong. About 5 minutes go by and the bartender/waitress brings us menus and takes a soda order from us than stops at the table of 4 who was already eating and sees if they need refills. She went and got their refills. About 10-15 minutes later we get ours and place our order. I ordered a cheeseburger, medium rare which she wrote down, wings and my wife ordered a turkey club. Now it's another half hour and we finally get the wings. They were ordered medium heat. We get the basket of wings that were cooked good but the sauce had no heat to it at all. Very bland, They also had the carrots and celery soaking in a pool of sauce. Now everyone eating is gone and we are still waiting. 45 minutes to get a burger and a sandwich. I took one bite from my burger and it is not medium rare. It was way past well done as it was grey and dried out and hard as a rock. About 10 minutes into eating the waitress comes over and asks how everything is. I show her the burger and she offers to remake it but I didn't have another 45 minutes to wait for a burger which is ridiculous and told her no. We both ordered the potato salad which had so much vinegar in it you couldn't eat it. So I had about 10 french fries for lunch. She brings over the bill. On the bill there are no prices and she has next to my burger "Could not eat, over done next to the medium rare". You never see a price next to anything and I turn it over and there is $30.97 less $30.00 groupon, balance $2.97. I was mad as I had to pay for food that wasn't cooked right, slow and lozy service and a wrong bill. I bring the bill up to her and show her that it's wrong. She says sorry and changes me the $32.97. You don't show prices and change it to whatever you want? I will never go back to this place again. read more

This pub is promoting themselves through Groupon and they have a great deal for lunch for 2 or 4. I'd been to this place once before and had an OK experience so I bought the deal and went there just before 4pm to get the end of lunch and use the coupon. I brought my 21 year old daughter and my 12 year old son. OK, so your thinking "12 yr old...bar..?", but it was lunch and almost empty and he comes to the American Legion with me and likes to play darts so I thought it would be fine. Well after the hostess/bartender walked up and asked, very briskly and not at all friendly and with no greeting what-so-ever, what we were having and handed up menus she returned to the bar and went back to talking to the two gentlemen drinking there and we were treated to her complaining on and on about how her boyfriend just broke up with her. She came back over and seemed bothered by having to ask what we want to drink and annoyed at my daughter asking her what sodas they have. While looking at the menu and trying figure out if it was the right menu (lunch or dinner), and while my son was starting up a game of darts, in the course of her renewed "conversation", asked the guys at the bar why he would let her give him a XXXX XXX, while watching the football game and then break up with her the next day. As she continued to use some other choice profanities loudly to describe her ex and what kind of person he is, I grabbed my kids and walked out. I know it's a bar, but kids or no kids I couldn't take the 6 mins of non-stop complaining and swearing that we did suffer through and we were sitting at the table farthest from the bar. So, please take into account that the 1 star rating I gave was based solely on this bartenders attitude, treatment, and actions. I did like the food and portions on my previous visit and have met the manager who is a sweet lady, but unfortunately it only takes one bad apple. If I ever go there again I will call ahead to see who is on shift first. read more
