An elite event venue too!!…read more Me work hosted a retirement celebration at Narcisi Winery.. and the simple elegance is even more apparent in the private event space and preparations! From coordinating the entree choices to ensuring everything would be perfect, the event staff is clearly an expert in throwing a good event! The space is stunning! The touches in the space make it feel so intentional. They have a separate entry and parking lot available around the back of the building. The room is secluded from the restaurant to where you wouldn't even realize that you were there! You do share the bathroom, but it feels like it is for your event space! For the meal, I had the: Chicken Picatta - they served me three chicken breasts, perfectly seasoned and coated with a mashed potato that I will try to recreate and a seasonal blend of vegetables Tiramisu - this bad boy oozed coffee and was well balanced in sweetness The wait staff perfectly cleared the courses and served without interfering in the speeches or festivities. They simply asked that we provide placards to indicate the meal for each person and they handled everything else to perfection!

I'm so thankful for all the memories I got to make here with her and my pap, and now getting to keep making them with my mom. We sat outside because that's our spot, and we Uber because we know ourselves well enough to know we're not leaving with empty hands. Now, let's talk food. The burrata salad was fresh and exactly what I was looking for. Mom got the veal tortellini, which I tried and can confirm was GOOD. Naturally, this resulted in a little order envy. Should've trusted the pasta instincts. Instead, I apparently had something to prove to the protein department and ordered the Delmonico. I asked for rare/medium-rare and got well-done, tough steak instead. I hate sending food back, but this one was putting my jaw to work, so back it went. The New York strip was better, but I think we've established that I need to stop straying from my true love: a thick filet. In hindsight, I should've ordered pasta like I know I should when I come here. The tortellini was making a VERY convincing argument. The steak experience could've been a busy-night hiccup, but the overall experience is why I'll keep coming back. Between the wine, food, live music, and the gorgeous outdoor space, Narcisi has a little something for everyone. It's especially hard to beat in the warmer months, right into early fall. Some places are worth returning to for the atmosphere. Some for the food. And some because they hold pieces of people you wish you could sit across the table from one more time. The restaurant was only about 50% full, so it didn't seem overly busy. We were seated in the back and ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees within about five minutes. Our waitress was incredibly nice and attentive -- she was quick with our first two rounds of refills and had a great attitude the entire night. Unfortunately, the timing of the food really hurt the experience. Our appetizers didn't come out until about 45 minutes after ordering, and our entrees arrived an hour and a half after we were seated. By the time our dinners came out, we were the last table left in the restaurant. To make things more frustrating, the meals were brought out in two separate rounds about 10 minutes apart. When the second round finally came, we ended up asking for boxes and the check right away. The food itself was absolutely delicious, and our waitress did everything she could to take care of us. That's why we're giving 3 stars. But waiting an hour and a half for dinner -- especially when the restaurant wasn't very busy -- is just not acceptable. We'd consider giving it another try, but only if the kitchen timing improves.

Had such an amazing experience here!! There was live music playing in the most beautiful backyard…read morepavilion! Had such great energy! This location does not not have food, but you can bring your own in. There's a restaurant called Allegheny Grill across the street, along with a pizza shop if you plan to eat. Service was absolutely fantastic as well, everybody was so passionate about their wines, and also making sure you found the perfect glass. I will say, the wine was not the best I've ever had. Most of them seem to run on the sweet side, but that's not to say that might be someone else's taste! I tried the Riverstone red, and it was pretty good, but I think the trick is to get their fruit wines, their pear wine was delicious, it was like dessert! I will absolutely be back here, many times over! The wine is just OK, but the experience is top-notch!

This place had a large selection of wines from dry, semi-dry, sweet, and port wines that had a nice taste of brandy. All of the wines that we tried were very good. The Cab was really smooth. They have a special if you purchase 6 bottles, then a 7th one is $3. They take your most expensive bottle and charge you $3 for that bottle. The lady that waited on us was very nice and helpful. Told us to look around in which everything was cut. I will come back. This place is in a nice location. A nice place across the street is the Allegheny Grille and a hotel across the street from the winery. Very cute place.

If you're looking for a place to relax with friends over a $5 or $6 glass of cider or wine, look no…read morefurther than Knockin Noggin. I first discovered this little charming cidery and winery from my partner who had tried the cider elsewhere. Returning from Erie, he found that we'd be passing Knocking Noggin so we swung by. We've made the trip three times now. We've only been disappointed once when my partner and I bought 4 growlers for a gathering we were having and none of them tasted good. Something happened where they were either mixed or went bad in a matter of two days. I reached out to management, and they quickly responded with apologies offering to provide us with complimentary refills. We brought our growlers back just as promised and they were refilled at no charge. Some of my favorite ciders have been the seasonal ones including Butter Beer, Pineapple, and Chocolate Strawberry. Pineapple is my top one hopefully coming back in the summertime. If you have the chance, visit this place during a town festival or even when nothing is happening to just have a wine slushy or glass of wine out on the patio. One of our last visits was during a Harry Potter Festival which was fun and interesting. Whatever you're doing, don't pass this place by, you won't be disappointed.
