I loved -every- wine we tried. I ran through the gambit of their wines, and I was impressed by every one of them. The quality, clarity, and taste honestly outperformed places that you'd expect to be much better. Their wines have a smoothness, quality and drinkability that highly outperforms other places. This has quickly become one of my favorite wineries. It's a place where you can go to let your hair down, be COMFORTABLE, and still be IMPRESSED with extremely high quality wine! Highly suggest trying EVERYTHING. But, I will do a shout-out to their Vidal, their Niagara and their fruit wines. I will also add this. I normally HATE cabernet. It's just not my thing, honestly. But...this place is the ONLY cabernet that I've found that I can tolerate... and actually LIKE and ENJOY it! They truly run the place concerned with your experience, and how good their wines are. We've stayed at Deer Creek Inn and Winery about once a year since 2021, when I first discovered it…read moreshortly after the pandemic. At that time, it felt like a true bed-and-breakfast experience with thoughtful personal touches (guests were welcomed with a bottle of wine, breakfast was full and clearly made with care, and the overall atmosphere felt warm and attentive). Over the past couple of years, especially since the addition of their second location, I've noticed some changes in the overall experience. The level of personal interaction feels more limited than it used to, and check-in and general hospitality have become more minimal. I do understand how difficult it can be to find and retain good staff in the hospitality industry, and I appreciate the effort that goes into running a business like this. The biggest change for me has been the food and dining experience. They are no longer offering a bottle of wine in the room, but a glass of wine ordered at the bar. Breakfast, which used to be a real highlight is now much more basic and doesn't feel as thoughtfully prepared as it once did. Pricing has also increased, while the overall food offerings have decreased in both variety and quality. One of our favorite extras used to be the charcuterie platter for two, which we would order one each stay and enjoy in our room. We've stopped ordering it because both the portion size and product quality no longer felt consistent with the price or with our earlier experiences. Overall, I still like Deer Creek Inn, our favorite rooms are the Brooks Deluxe Suite and the Celebration room. We will continue to visit occasionally, but it no longer has quite the same special feel it once did for us, so I won't be going as often as I used to.

We saw they had a band playing - it was cold out - so decided to give it a shot. All seats were filled when we got there .. but as soon as a seat opened up .. we grabbed it! When you first walk in, it isn't 100% clear which way to go (although any of the ways ultimately lead you into the main church room). I had never been, so I asked the person behind the bar about the history of the winery and the space. It turns out he is the owner so he had a lot of information to give. I learned about the founding of the winery, the old space up the road, the renovations to the church space and their wine production (like where they get their grapes). I ended up sampling four different wines before I settled on the glass that I chose. There are a variety of seating options, including some with a more lounge feel (couches on what used to be the altar). I visited on a Thursday night and it was fairly quiet. They were offering a chicken parmesan meal that sounded (and looked) delicious, but I had already eaten. During Lent, they have seafood specials on Friday nights. In addition to wine, they also had beer, cider and mixed drinks as options. This would be a great place for a date night or a girls night out. I'll definitely be back!

I first discovered this little charming cidery and winery from my partner who had tried the cider elsewhere. Returning from Erie, he found that we'd be passing Knocking Noggin so we swung by. We've made the trip three times now. We've only been disappointed once when my partner and I bought 4 growlers for a gathering we were having and none of them tasted good. Something happened where they were either mixed or went bad in a matter of two days. I reached out to management, and they quickly responded with apologies offering to provide us with complimentary refills. We brought our growlers back just as promised and they were refilled at no charge. Some of my favorite ciders have been the seasonal ones including Butter Beer, Pineapple, and Chocolate Strawberry. Pineapple is my top one hopefully coming back in the summertime. If you have the chance, visit this place during a town festival or even when nothing is happening to just have a wine slushy or glass of wine out on the patio. One of our last visits was during a Harry Potter Festival which was fun and interesting. Whatever you're doing, don't pass this place by, you won't be disappointed.

My favorites include Nova's blended sweet wine The Dragon, a Concord Red wine, and Skallywag Distilling's Limoncello. After roaming the various locations (shuttle is also provided if you desire) you can collect your own bottles of your favorites in the building at the exit. That way you aren't lugging your choices throughout the day.

I've had frozen cauliflower crust pizza better than this. It was so disappointing because it was better when we first came here. No one thought their food was good. I should have taken it back but it was after a hard day of work and I was just too tired to complain. My beer was good thank goodness. The place is beautiful . It's just a shame the food is so bad. They need a chef . This place could be fabulous with a great chef . Or someone who knows how to make pizza . I won't go back . I gave them a good review the first time I went. Sorry not this time. I would have been embarrassed to even serve that pizza to anyone.
