The store is brightly lit and the aisles are wide. There are 2 self-checkouts. The employees here are really friendly and chatty. If it ever expands (and if it does well, it should be considered), add some more hot food stations and a salad bar.

The owner was busy stocking shelves with fresh organic produce when I entered, but she looked up to greet me and offered help finding things if need be. A nice warm welcome. I bought maple vanilla sheep yogurt and cheese (delicious!), Del ice cream (yum!), crackers and fresh fruit. The items were well priced and local. They also have a refrigerated area with nice looking pot pies and quiches. The shelves were well stocked with breads, jams and other sundries. Roxbury really needed a store like Good Grocer NY. The perennial scam in all Big Box stores is excessive returns and misuse of the self-payment registers. Be assured that all stores have the same security methods and they are quite good at catching the bad people. If you just want to walk around and shop another suggestion is to call the store and ask them if they have a specific item, and to actually hold it for you. There is an excellent free Walmart app for your smart phone to make shopping much easier by actually locating the item and current price. Walmart still has a policy of meeting the cost of all other "local" competitors with the actual flyer listing prices. The pizza and Italian-type foods are the mainstay of many college people.
