Russell's Decking and Concrete gave me an estimate to do my front and back deck for a waterproof deck with composite railings. Jessey Russell the owner wanted 1/2 down payment for labor, so we gave him the money on 10/9/22. While waiting for the permit, he wanted to start in the back deck, so he wanted me to pay for the back deck and paid him on 1/13/23. The trex and the composite deck railing were cut into different pieces and with holes on top because they nailed on top of the trex. The composite deck railing was cut so badly into pieces because they just put together all the little pieces to add them in the trex and railing. I've called Jessey Russell right away and he said he will be there to fix it. Nothing happened and all the mess still left in the yard. In February 2023, my husband spoke to him and he told Jessey Russell what they did with our back deck that even the posts were cut into pieces. We asked for a full refund of what we gave him which was $8,100.00 ($5600 front deck 1/2 down payment for labor and $2,500.00 for the back deck). He promised he will give our money in 2 weeks. We waited for 2 weeks, months and months, he never gave the money that we paid him. He basically robbed us because nothing was done in the front deck and the back deck was a disaster. I have pictures and videos that I can prove. Bottom line, we texted and called Jessey Russell but no reply. We contacted the Labor and Industry and they told us that Russell's Decking & Concrete had a law suit and collected the maximum bonds already from him and insurance has been terminated. Therefore, this company is not license and bonded and a total thief. We've been very patient waiting for him to pay us back but he lied to us because he never paid us back.
