My steak was cooked perfectly, tasted great, fast friendly service. Prices were very reasonable. Much better than the Como Steakhouse. I was passing through town with my wife, and will definitely visit again, if we are in the area. read more

Perfectly cooked steaks with friendly service. The restaurant has a rustic cabin feel with four sections for diners. There's a small salad buffet and an open kitchen to watch the grill masters. Our filets and NY strip were cooked to perfect medium doneness with a great flavor that wasn't overpowered by a marinade. read more

The food was awesome!!! My service was impeccable with a sweet hostess. The ambiance is comfortable but hey we're here to get a great steak. Been eating here since the 90's, this place has always been great read more

Russell's Beef House Restaurant - 14 oz ribeye loade baked potato and bread - Steakhouses Near Me - Corinth, Mississippi

Food and service has really gone downhill. That's sad because it was good at one time.

Waitress Dee brought the food to us cold /lukewarm and lied that it came straight from the grill. She stated because we ordered our 16oz t-bone steak well, and the 14 oz Ribeye steak medium well it takes longer to prepare the meal. The most expensive lousy customer service ever!!! $45.00 meal ugh. 50.00 dollars with her 5.00 tip. My coworker ordered cheese on his steak burger, no cheese when it returned a cold slice of cheese was added to the burger. He didn't eat it and asked for a to go box immediately. on the way out the door Dee was in conversation about the issue and walked off when l stop to share my experience with the receptionist who seats the guest. read more

My wife and I stumbled on Russell's as we were making our way back home from moving our daughter into a new college apartment. What a gem. The place was packed, but moved pretty quickly. The open grill inside was a surprise - making the aroma inside a delight for a steak lover. The salad bar was on point - super fresh. The steak (32oz sirloin) was high quality and cooked perfectly, the baked potato had more butter and sour cream than potato (which I enjoyed as a special treat). The staff was slammed, but quite friendly nonetheless. I wish there were more places like this closer to us - most of the old school joints have disappeared for more hipster/high end stuff where we are. I've already started planning a road trip with friends - if you're on the fence and close by, give Russell's a try! read more

This place is older than I am and still rocks it out. If you look up the word steakhouse in the dictionary, there should be a picture of this place right next to it. Love the old look and feel of this place. Love that it's still in the family. Russell is a champ and these guys really know how to work a grill. The food is always on point. Service is outstanding. Can't say enough good things about this place. Stop in almost every time I pass through Corinth! read more

Server was not rude per se but had no personality and seemed miserable. Also, were out of lower priced items AND did not mention Cc price was higher than listed on printed menu. Not worth the price for quality of food or service in my opinion. read more

When I go to a restaurant that has a book for a menu, I suspect the quality of any item is not so good. Russell's has a single page menu (front and back) that offers several steak options, grilled chicken or grilled shrimp. And they do all of these well. My fave is the filet mignon. Perfect size (8 oz) and perfectly cooked. Salad bar is always good. The servers are attentive to customer needs and keep the water flowing. (Or sweet tea if you're into that sort of thing.). The decor is rustic. Don't expect fancy. Good stuff. read more

For a down home style steak house that is very laid back, it was a really cool experience. The steak was really good and had great flavor from the grill. Being from out of town though, I wish I could have gotten a beer or glass of wine with a steak. I would definitely come back when in the area read more

We were passing through on a Tuesday evening and called an order in for takeout, which we took home. Phone call ordering: 5 stars Service and greeting when we arrived: 5 stars Promptness and cooking time: 5 stars Order accuracy: 5 stars Packaging: 5 stars Service size: 5 stars Taste and flavor: 5 stars My ribeye was super tender and had plenty of fat, but in a good way, not the kind of fat that ends up on the other side of the plate. I ate like 96% of it. Chicken breast was good too. The little one said she didn't like the smoke flavor on the hot dog but that's her fault. She's picky and she'd rather have an Oscar Meyer Weiner boiled in water. The price was 5 stars too. Not cheap, but I got what I paid for. Good job guys! read more

I'm a local and hear me when I say this establishment does N O T care about you or your money. I walked in to place a to go order after repeatedly calling with no answer and this lady would not look up from her phone to help me even when I spoke to her. Took this photo and she still NEVER checked up! Never been so disrespected in a restaurant. This is disgraceful. Now I know why Corinth is the rudest town in MS, go to Vicari instead. The steak will be better the servers will be nicer. Russel can't hold a candle to John. So take my advice and spend the extra money and go down the street. read more

Russell's Beef House Restaurant - Steakhouses Near Me - Corinth, Mississippi

First time eating at Russell's Beef House. The food was great and the waitress we had was outstanding, especially her recommendation on the house salad dressing. She is a super person who made us feel welcome and cared for. The restaurant is nice, clean and feels like your with family. We are in town from Atlanta to visit the Shiloh battlefield. My brother and I highly recommend Russell's Beef House. Go and enjoy yourselves!!! read more

Ate here tonight nine years after my last review along with my son. Not a lot of changes but thought I would update the review. A great restaurant if you're looking for a steak - any of the steaks are recommended. Steaks are the specialty of the house, although they also serve a good grilled chicken and pork loin (for those who don't want red meat). Covid did away with their salad bar and the house salad is premade and they have a wonderful house made shallot vinagrette dressing as well as the usual assortment. French fries here vary from great to really world class depending on how busy the cooks get and how much attention they are devoting to the fries. Extremely popular all during the week and no longer open on Saturdays. Lines at the entrance are common but usually move pretty quickly. Decor is pretty much country clutter - quality of the food is the draw for locals and many out-of-towners as well. read more

Russell's Beef House Restaurant - Menu June 14, 2024 - Steakhouses Near Me - Corinth, Mississippi

This is your standard run of the mill steakhouse with little frills. It is local family owned and has been around since the 1970s. It is probably one of the nicer places to eat in Corinth. The population of Corinth is 12,000 and I promise you every resident of town has been here. The food is decent. As I said, no frills, but they have some seriously good meat with various cuts of beef plus the sides do not disappoint. Service was decent. My friend knew everyone in here, which I found amusing, but it only furthers my notion that this is a staple to the community. read more

Ate there all week. Ribeye is the way to go. Cooked to perfection every time. Service was good too.

We decided to have dinner at Russell's after reading the Yelp reviews. I wish our meal was good enough to warrant 4 or 5 stars, but alas it wasn't. My wife just had a salad and baked potato. The potato was perfect and the side salad was okay. Unfortunately, the Net York strip that I ordered was TOUGH! Good flavor, but very TOUGH! Our waitress was good and the food was served promptly. read more

Staff and atmosphere were just wonderful. Great meal in a great community. Thank you!

EXCELLENT steak and other menu items. If your passing through town it's worth a stop on 72, you won't regret it! Thank me later!!

Steak on a stick is perfectly marinaded, baked potato was good, salad was good. Garlic bread was great and the service was fast and friendly. read more

One of the best steakhouses in the country yet most don't know about it! (Except the locals of course) Russell's serves one great tasting steak. We loved it so much we came home with multiple bottles of their marinade. Do yourself a favor and stop by! read more

This was another hole in wall places we stopped by while traveling. I really didn't expect much, but it was so good. The service was very good prices were good as well. The steak was amazing (no sauce required). The desserts were good and homemade. We will stop by again when traveling through. I definitely recommend. read more

This go to steak house is a local legend in Corinth. The place gives classic steak house vibes and is very inviting. The staff is always very sweet and even though the place is always busy its worth the wait to get in. The steaks are always grilled to perfection and they have a great salad bar. This place is a must if you are craving a great steak. read more

No frills steakhouse with amazing food. Ordered the 18 oz. Ribeye which was cooked & seasoned perfectly (only using House Sauce). Loaded Baked Potato was excellent. A pleasant surprise was the house dressing (shallot vinaigrette) I got with my side salad. Could be a little sweet for some, but it was homemade and great. Even the toasted garlic bread was delicious. I'll be back for sure. read more

Russell's Beef House Restaurant - 18 oz. Ribeye cooked medium rare - Steakhouses Near Me - Corinth, Mississippi

Food and service was good. Restaurant was clean. People were friendly. Stopped here tracking through town.

Russell's is the place to go for a steak in Corinth, Mississippi. I visited here in the last hour of the night and then the first hour of the night another day and both times the steak was amazing! I did not know what to expect since the restaurant is right on Highway 72 but it was well worth the trip. The salad was very fresh, the bread was hot off the grill and the steaks were flavored to perfection! I ordered a 12 oz ribeye on the first trip and took part of it home. On the second trip i ordered the smaller ribeye and it was just right! The friend ordered the 12 oz both times and ate every bite! read more

Have noticed the crowds at this place almost every time I've traveled through Corinth and finally had time in my schedule to try it out. Service was quick and friendly. Ordered the 12 oz ribeye with baked potato and salad. Chose there house made blue cheese dressing and experienced my first disappointment. The dressing was tart and gritty. The ribeye was cooked to perfection, unfortunately it tasted like a campfire smells. Did not enjoy the wood smoke flavor at all. The baked potato was delicious though. Obviously I'll not be going back. If you like wood flavored steaks this is your kind of place. read more

A basic steakhouse, but I've had good beef and this is up there! Great tater and bread too! To quote a fine sci-fi movie "I was as good as any, and better than most". That describes my pound sirloin! read more

Russell's Beef House Restaurant - Restaurant Menu - Steakhouses Near Me - Corinth, Mississippi

Corinth still needs a good steak house. I have eaten here several times over the years and have never left truly happy. I only dine here because my husband wants to. Well, his desire to eat here died the last night we ate, couple weeks ago. Over time, he has grown less enthused over his experiences. The baked potatoes have shrank to embarrassingly small sizes. Served frustratingly cold. Brown interior from old and overcooked. Presented with a nauseating amount of sour cream and butter. How can a salad bar with such few offerings win an award? I don't know, that's why I am asking. It is not unusual to find cheese shreds in the pickle spears or pink Bacos floating in, well, everywhere. Our last visit we ordered the Sirloin for two. We were seated directly in the path of the air conditioner vent. The wind blew napkins off the table. We should have moved instead of weighting down all the paper items with our silverware. The piece of meat we were served was an abomination. I know that is a strong word, but in this case pretty accurate. Non-marinated, non-tenderized and flavorless, which is weird because it was cooked over coals. Chewy? Yes, definitely. I have never chewed on the thick blue rubber bands that hold two stalks of broccoli together in the grocery store, but I would venture to say those rubber bands would be easier to eat. Probably tastier. The food was already room temperature when it was served. That frigid gusting air blowing across it really didn't help the situation. We packed it in a to go box so I could try to "doctor" it up at home and finish eating. I was unsuccessful. The cats hesitated when I put it down for them, but eventually they did away with it. I can't compare this steak house to Smith or The Chop House as I have not had a steak from either place. According to the menu, Smith only offers a Filet and a Flat Iron. When I want a steak neither of those cuts are in my top 3 choices. The Chop House menu offers Rib Eye, New York Strip and Filet and even dry aged versions. The average Joe can't eat here before taking out a second mortgage. That is a high price to take a gamble on an item like Bone-in Ribeye with bleu cheese mashed potatoes, yuk. I do hope a true steak house opens in this town before I am too old to savor a truly great steak. To Each Their Own. read more

We were passing through Corinth on a road trip.. we wanted to go somewhere the locals eat. Was. Not. Disappointed. It's in the name: beef. You come here for a steak nothing else. Steak was perfectly cooked, I got the 8 oz ribeye medium. Fries are fresh cut. Salad bar had a little variety, Perfect for a little fresh snack before you carnivore on a perfectly cooked steak. I was visiting from out-of-town for business and ate here with my colleagues. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had!! From the crunchy, buttery, warm garlic bread, to the juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked medium rare steak...it was all great!! The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the salad bar. It could've used some better, healthier options (like different greens and other veggies), but it had the basics--Iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, croutons, and Italian dressing. I'll definitely be eating here again if I'm ever in town. read more

Oh, hello Corinth, Mississippi--2 hours from any major city. Thank goodness Yelp community for writing about this little gem. Like the other reviews have said: -EVERYTHING is grilled on this charcoal grill they have right behind the counter -prices are a little high for the small establishment, but quality of the meat was pretty good -if you are trying to go healthy and not order steak (beef house obvi!), you shouldn't go there--they have a chicken and pork option and some shrimp skewers. i got one of the skewers and i say skip it -they have a salad bar -they have some steak sauce made in house--try it! So if you're ever in Corinth, i say give this place a try! ps. NO ADULT BEVS read more

I had the best steak of my life tonight! I've eaten steak all over the country and in my mama's back yard. Russell's Beef House, hands down, has the best steaks! I had an 8 oz filet cooked medium with a baked potato. The meal also came with a one trip salad bar and the most delicious garlic bread. According to the waitress, who was very attentive, the steaks are cut in-house every day and marinated in Russell's own seasoning which is also on each table. They also have practically every steak sauce under the sun. If you're ever in Corinth, MS, please stop for dinner at Russell's! They open every day at 4:30pm. read more
