Dr Barkley and her staff make me super comfortable with gas for anxiety abs they don't make me feel embarrassed for being afraid at my age ( the main reason I have lost so many teeth is avoidance of dentists ! ) Now that I've found a dentist I actually like and trust my fear is rapidly going away! She referred me to a endodonist last week for a root canal and I had never seen a specialist for that ( a dentist has done all previous root canals w horrible pain ) my fear was ramped you and it was incredulous easy ! Absolutely shocking that no pain swelling etc after ! I didn't even need Tylenol! . I'm glad I chose this dentist , bc she seems to understand dental anxiety as a real thing! Her prices are great too comparatively! Even though I go across town to see her I'd never change ! I cannot recommend her highly enough !

You feel that they want you to be comfortable and do what they can to make you feel so. The first cleaning was hilarious. Our back and forth wasted 15 minutes of her time. When I return in Jan.for the root canal Dr. Luna did not numb me well , proceeded to drill when I opened my eyes he knew something was wrong he proceeded to tell me that he was attempting to save the tooth by filling the tooth, however I paid a root canal(suspect to say the least). I said Dr. Luna I paid for a root canal? He proceeded to do the root canal. He placed me on an antibiotic after the root canal and a week later the top right side of my mouth and face were in a pain I can't began to explain, I went back to Dr Luna and he looked at the X-rays and told me there was nothing wrong other than he needed to adjust my bite ( drilling again). I left and that night the pain came back even worse, I called the office a lady answered and I explained to her the issue , she said let me look at your chart , guess what ? She saw a cavity and a filling that needed to be replaced ( that's the lie I spoke of earlier that Dr. Luna lied about). I asked to have my records transferred and they gave me this spill about no we don't want you to go anywhere else come back in so we can rectify( excuse me I most certainly will not). I had already set an appointment at a different dentist( amazing chair side manners and experience). The new office informed me they would have my records transferred and not to worry. I have to return to Dr. Luna because I have paid for my procedure already and they have to place my crown , but when I tell you I don't want to because of the experience I had it's just not enough explaining I can do. I would not recommend Dr. Luna to anyone , they claim to be so Christian beware of wolves in sheep clothing, when you are a true child of God you don't have to speak it The ACTIONS WILL SPEAK FAR LOUDER THAN WORDS..

I work between AL and TN and after having a horrible tooth extraction out of TN I obtained a dry socket while working near this dental office. I called knowing the office was closing in twenty minutes and without hesitation they told me to come right in and they would gladly pack the socket for me. Everyone within the practice was polite, nice and worked very quickly. The practice itself was beautiful inside and out. The Dentist was thorough, knowledgeable and very nice. The dentist does not pay attention to your concerns and hurries you in and out. I believe this is a widespread issue in healthcare today. Consider visiting a non-corporate dentist. You will likely be more satisfied, as they genuinely care for their patients, unlike this facility. Last year, I had eight cavities filled by them, only to later see a new dentist who informed me that I had no cavities, and they had drilled into perfectly healthy teeth. I returned to discuss my TMJ issues, but she rushed me through the appointment. She mentioned sending me to physical therapy, but I expressed my preference for injections, to which she replied that she would refer me to a TMJ specialist. When I contacted them, I was told that Naos PT does not provide injections and does not accept my insurance, despite my dentist claiming otherwise. I have decided not to return to this place, and it frustrates me how little they seem to care.
