They take my insurance (Delta Dental) and parking is in the building and they validate. I've had Marilyn clean my teeth a few times and they're alway squeaky clean after. Last night I had accidentally flossed out an old filling so I had to make an appointment to get it fixed. Dr Chen was my dentist and even though I was running late, they were still able to get me in and complete the filling and I was on my way! It had to be the fastest filling I ever had with the x-rays and filling done within 45 minutes! I got there at 2:20pm and was out before 3pm! The numbing wore off after a few hours and I don't feel any discomfort. I also only paid about $118 for the filling and x-rays after my insurance. Dr Chen was really nice and checked to make sure I was doing okay and again was extremely quick and efficient. Some people don't like the clinical nature of this office but I love it! I recommend all of my friends, coworkers and family to come here!

It's not that the front staff were particularly unpleasant or rude, it was just a lack of being treated like a person. Im sure patient fatigue sets in from time to time because they cycle through so many people in one day, and front desk people are still people so I didn't pay too much mind to the lack of eye contact or general pleasantries. Name called, time to go back. The dental assistant guiding me was lovely, a very sweet girl. She made me feel comfortable despite my lifelong disdain for dentist offices and constant discomfort of presently being in one. She instructed me where to place my things and had me sit in the chair to wait for the dentist. The actual dentist was... awfully awkward and judgmental upon first impression. He questioned my piercings, and didn't hide his disgust at my tongue ring. He had the nerve to mumble, "how do you even clean this?" I felt embarrassed and couldn't answer due to the fact he was literally cleaning my teeth at the time of asking. So yeah I was in a vulnerable state. It made me feel gross? I take pretty good care of my piercings and change my jewelry periodically. Yes I brush my tongue piercing when I brush my teeth and I know the hygienic risks before I got the piercing. I have had it for years and no other dentist ever made me feel... judged for it. Anyway, my teeth were in good shape. Very clean. Still, very bad experience. 10/10 not going back there. Key takeaways: Front desk people seemed burnt out. They cycle through so many people in one day, so expect to be treated like a dollar sign. Dental assistant was a sweetheart. One dentist is really rude. Good for convenience, but if you want attentive dental care, go somewhere else.

Dr. Leong made me feel comfortable right away and explained everything very clearly so I could understand my options. I've been to many different dentists here on the island, but I can honestly say he's the best dentist I've seen. A lot of dentists make you feel like they only care about the money, but Dr. Leong truly listened to my concerns and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable throughout the treatment. His assistant, Trisha, was also amazing while assisting him during my procedure. The whole experience felt very reassuring and professional. Thank you to Dr. Leong and the team for making what could have been a stressful visit such a comfortable one.

Rica, who was my dental hygienist that day did a great job cleaning my teeth and had informed me about the areas that required aggressive cleaning. She thoroughly cleaned and to best of her ability. She was also gentle when flossing my teeth. After my cleaning, one of the dentists came to inspect my cleaning and review my X-rays with me and mentioned I didn't have any cavities and everything looked good. My experience at Dr Leongs office was great and look forward to returning for another cleaning. Thank you guys so much!

Then I was blessed to experience Dr. Ho's special technique, in which he uses a special angle or ideal pressure or magic to deliver the injection so that it almost feels pleasant. That coupled with the time Dr. Ho's Office Manager, Char, pointed out how timing certain dental procedures to coincide with insurance coverage renewal would save me over a thousand dollars, made me feel so lucky to have been accepted as a patient. And when considering the unbelievable courtesy and warm professionalism of the rest of his staff, I'm sorry for being reluctant to write an honest review until now. Just being selfish.

On my first visit Dr Ho didn't even greet me or just say Hi. I was a business owner for 12 years and that's definitely not how I treated my clients. I'm not a number, I'm a human being who is reaching out to get help from a doctor who apparently won't even talk to you if you don't have your X rays done.. what is this a military boot camp come on? Saying hello only takes less than a minute and if it's not in your heart to give another human being just 1 minute of your time then I definitely think you shouldn't be working on my teeth. I feel this office prioritizes money & time over wanting to genuinely help people. So much for this referral, congratulations on you being the best dentist in town I'll look elsewhere.

The office is small, quiet, clean. The front desk person has always been fantastic: friendly, engaged, and helpful. Both hygienists I have seen were good at what they do, not peachy about my lack of consistent flossing, and made for a good visit. Yes, yes, I know flossing is important. Dr. Takenishi is super personable. He's efficient while also providing entertaining conversation. I leave feeling good about the care I've received and my plan for keeping my teeth. So one morning when I got up I saw that I had chipped my two front teeth while sleeping from grinding my teeth all night. Dr. Takenishi was able to restore my smile. NOW I wear my night guard every night. They say that "your eyes are the window to your soul" but also believe "your smile is the reflection of your heart". I cannot recommend Erika Smith enough. She is incredibly kind, professional, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about your dental health. She takes her time, explains everything thoroughly, and makes you feel completely comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Dr. Gary is equally wonderful -- warm, knowledgeable, and thoughtful in the way he gives feedback and recommendations. You can tell the entire team truly cares about their patients and creating a positive experience. If you're looking for a new dentist, book with them immediately and absolutely ask for Erika. I just left Landmark's office and the administrative team treated me with such disrespect that I felt compelled to write this review. few months ago when I was between jobs and uninsured, they sold me a package which included 2 free cleanings as well as a discount on other dental services. I recently accepted a new job which provides dental insurance in network with Landmark. When I called to confirm coverage, the person who answered the phone stated my current dentist at Landmark was in network with my new HMSA Dental plan. I then asked them about the package that I already signed up for with 2 free cleanings. I want to be very clear: I was NOT asking for a refund on that package, but dental insurance always has maximums and limits so I wanted to make sure that the cleaning I already paid for would not be put through my new insurance. The woman on the phone said "we've never had a case like this before"; furthermore, she stated that Landmark would most likely bill my insurance company for the cleaning for which I had already paid Landmark. I live down the street and left their office around 45 minutes ago. When I asked to speak with an office/billing manager, the woman who greeted me when I entered said "no, they're not here." When I asked when they'd be back, she said "you can check back in the morning." When I started to ask about the double billing, she stated "you need to talk to the manager about that." At that point, the woman who sold me the initial package was at the counter, and I directly asked her if she remembered selling it to me and she said she had not. I told her that nowhere does it state that Landmark has the right to bill my insurance for the cleanings I already paid for. At that point, she looked for to a 3rd woman (presumably the office manager/administrator that was supposedly absent as told to me by the first employee) and asked her about it. She told me that when I came in for me next exam & cleaning, Landmark fully intended to bill my insurance company for the cleaning I already paid for. When I protested, they said the only way they wouldn't bill my insurance for the cleaning I already paid for is if I scheduled the exam and cleaning on different days. TLDR: Great dental care, but SLEAZY and HORRIBLE billing practices. Landmark has no qualms about billing insurance for services which patients already paid for. PS - At least during one of my office visits, they had signs up offering discounts for Google reviews - take all the 5 stars there with a grain of salt.
