Owners…read moreCameron and Candice are Athens natives, UGA graduates, and obviously have poured their hearts and souls into their bed and breakfast property. The accommodations are meticulously decorated and comfortable. Breakfasts are catered by a local restaurant between 7am - 11am, and include scrambled eggs, bacon, orange juice, coffee, tea, several choices of baked goods, and even some Prosecco available if you want to concoct your own morning mimosa. In addition, beer, wine, and bottled still and sparkling waters are available all day, along with some crunchy packaged snacks in the afternoon. The location is in the Five Points area, which has many excellent restaurants within walking distance. We also noticed that Milledge Ave. is a popular jogging route for students in the morning. Not into jogging? A pleasant walk among the shade trees is a lovely diversion along the route as well. Parking is adjacent to the building and included. Access to the rooms and building are through an app which is easy to use. We felt like personal guests of the owners, and they ensured that we were satisfied with everything from start to finish. After our recent stay, I can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Athens again. We will definitely be back.

I am a big fan of luxury and this place really hit all the marks - beautiful rooms with fun modern luxury furnishings, beautiful common areas, very comfortable. We were wandering around the common areas to get coffee in the mornings. It was all just lovely. The owners really care about their customers and about ensuring that everything goes smoothly. We appreciated that. We will be back.

Cons: cleanliness is subpar, the hotel is aging (my carpet was definitely getting old, my towels were old, there were holes in my bed cover, my pillows were beat up a bit). Overall a nice stay but management needs to make some improvements and investments before this hotel starts to go downhill.

Good breakfast with fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage patties & links, waffles, etc. Very well prepared served in a comfortable dining area. 3. Raisin cookies and coffee in the lobby. What's Bad: 1. The carpet on the atrium floor needs stretching. There are numerous trip hazards. 2. Cleanliness of the room. The comforter seemed to have a 1" blood smear and we later found what appeared to be a small spot of 'bodily fluids' on the top sheet. Creepy crawler in the bathroom. 3. Very ragged towels say the management and staff are ... under budget? 4. We enjoyed the sirens from the fire station at the end of the block...several times through the night. Also the drag racer wanna-be's on the highway. What's Worst: The indoor pool is beyond filthy: The coping tile has never been cleaned and is dark (almost black) gray above the water line, white where the chlorine water reaches it. It needs a professional cleaning. Leaves blown into the pool have never been removed and float around like hunks of black slime. Rust is everywhere. This pool belongs to the House of Usher. The equipment room door has rusted out at the bottom and needs replacing. It's obvious the staff could care less about the pool's upkeep and/or are completely untrained about pool maintenance. Too bad. An indoor poor should be a big selling point for families in cold or rainy weather.
